Thank you for all your answers guys. I know its a noob question and its odd to ask such a question but the truth is that I never read about tokens.
Although I knew what it was and its fuctionality but i never knew where it were stored and accessed.

P.S : No more further answers are required.
Its okay brother since there are things which arent we didnt still know yet even if we are already quiet old in these field. We dont have general knowledge knowing all even on the slightest object on this forum or even on this cryptoworld. Glad that you did get your answer related to this. Good luck and we should still keep on learning new things on here. Grin

I have a doubt related to tokens. I understand that tokens are created based on Ethereum technology and others as well. Why do they ask for ethereum address when tokens are generated. Do they send tokens on our Ethereum address or is there some other logic behind this. Where are the tokens stored ?

It depends on which token you are asking for. Some use waves blockchain such as primalbase, wavesgo etc (they are new and only a few) most tokens uses ethereum blockchain. Easiest way to store and control your tokens is for waves based tokens there is a google chromo extension wallet, and for eth based ones, myetherwallet...

Its understandable already and as a Sr. member its odd to ask such thing but i would answer you. Most projects as of now are using ETH-based platforms which they token would really be stored on eth wallets.Take a look on myetherwallet.com.. You can see there are lots of coins you can possible store there on a single wallet as long its ETH based then they will really ask your eth address.
