We are headed to the promise land where everything will work well for us irrespective of the person leading us or the political party, Omo Nigeria done cast and Na the poor masses they face am, God help us.

Omo na true u talk o but as country be now, we dey head to our last days on earth o, because things go dey still dey go up pass as e be now, so the only thing to do now na to pray make God help us because without God's help we go still dey survive more and salary no fit do us anything.

I understand that the dollar to naira is not stable at all an wettin they affect the price of things but e dey very painful say as the price of things dey go up and wen dollar falls e no dey follow come down. At this time the government needs to set committees of regulating the price , this will really help the common man and also to make the naira to gain strength too.  But the government don't even care about what is even going on.

The issue is not the government alone a lot of us are also contributing to the shit we find our self how self today, something happened today and I think I am happy with what happened today, I went to the market where I wanted to get my provision so heard the guy discussing indomie saying people have refused to buy because it is too expensive that the one he bought from the company are still there, too me just imagine it is not reasonable to buy indomie at the rate of 11-18k instead of buying indomie i will rather buy rice beans or even yam. indomie does not satisfy you and I will now spend that amount of money on buying indomie. even if Garri has increased I don't mind buying Garri than wasting my money. with this current economy. it's not new when they say that local products are driven by the dollar i don't know how that is possible. but we are already getting used to it and see DSS warning anyone against protesting just imagine we can not even speak for our rights again, is unjust to not rely on how jobs if not it won't be funny. I feel people are deliberately doing these things.

You are right to say earning in dollars doesn't change the price from an end of individuals who earns in dollars but the advantage of it is that as our local currency # looses values over the dollar with the inflations of higher increments in the cost of goods and services that those who earns in # are not stably fit to afford your needs and wants as formally been, those that earns with the dollar are in better advantage of the economy situation. Imagine an exchange of $1=#1,600, this is an attractive sum of money to give those earning in dollars a safer side at the current economy level.
The major issues concerned on a fact like this during inflations, those who are capable to confidently withstand the economy challenges are faced with more responsibilities because it wouldn't be everyone around them such as families, friends or relatives that would be so bouyant to stand firmly stable with the economy demands of the hike of livings.
So, as much as you cares and being so responsible with your surroundings, so also your expenses would be broaded having you to spend more than expected. I would love to address such situation as being overloaded with responsibilities.

Oga what are you saying na, imagine you are selling something for 10naira and then dollar increase and they added price to everything dat is imported so you going to that same market to buy something and dem dey tell you say the price don increase and you know very well that when it comes to living and food commodity, everything is connected so you can't be spending excessively on stock on the market and even transportation and then still selling things you use money for buying and working for the actual same price.

Having known the condition of things at the present in this our country, it is left for we the individual citizen to find a working solution toward earning in foreign currency, in that way we stay rich and can afford a comfortable lifestyle, without giving too much thought on how to make money but how to Japa and keep our family safe from terrorists and kidnappers.

Some days ago we heard in the news of protests going on in the western parts, still it doesn't do any much needed good to allievate the plight of what we are meant to adjust to because of subsidy removal, high prices of fees and cost of basic living.

Let's invest more of our time into learning and upgrading our skills and see how we get to overcome this government and its unhelpful policies.

The problem of this country lies on all of us, from the government to the ordinary citizens even the military, most times we make life difficult and hard for ourselves, just look at what's happening, Dollar rate increased now Our local Garri has also increased, so what's the connection between Dollar rate and our Local garri, let's say the connecting link between them is transportation, but it's shouldn't be approximately double the previous price, at least you can put a little money on the previous price , not double the initial price. The same thing happened with nose mask, even when it was about the health of our country in general.

This country is better to remain silent and channel the effort in finding your way of survival than speaking on this kind of issue because even if one do nothing will change, I believe you listen news and see how most of our leaders is saying that our president weather the public like it or not he will finish 8years that inec is the one that declare result, few days ago senate president was saying in the plenary that no hunger in the country that the protest are stage by power Morgan even vice president also said there is not food scarcity but people are smuggling food outside they ceased some trucks of maize, those in power never believe there is hardship, allot of issue is in the country if really you listen you see some youth protested today that president is doing well in the country that NLC should not go to strike, in a country where the masses is not in one voice, ethnicity, nepotism and religion has eaten don't expect anything changes. My opinion is just find your way as your voice is of not value.

This country matter has exhausted me. I don't want to say anything about it again because our leaders aren't doing anything about it, so even if you talk, nothing will change na just prayer will solve the problem for us. Everyday things just add price, like how the crypto naira has regained even a small value, and how the dollar has surpassed our naira, so I just want to pray that Tinubu does something because things are only getting worse every day. If you buy anything now, the price may rise tomorrow, and you will have no choice but to buy it; I'm not sure if the government is unaware of what is going on in the country, or he simply chooses to remain silent.

What am I thinking about all of this, The removal of fuel subsidies is the primary cause of high costs and high prices in everything, and for the government to make things right, he must return the fuel subsidies to where they belong, resulting in a decrease in the price of everything. Second, they should sell farm fertilizer and chemicals at an affordable rate, allowing farmers to sell food at a lower price as well but i don't know if he can return the subsidy so that the price of the fuel will come down because I think is the main causing of increasing of things in the country.

Initially I thought this would change but at this point I don't think there is any way out. You talked about those that have there money in dollars which are happy that the dipreciation of Naira to dollar is making them have profits which they will spend them to goods and services. But I see nothing wrong in having your fund in USDT because for now that inflation is devaluing our currency the only way to reduce the inflation is by investing on bitcoin or USDT atleast to recover the value.  You can't be fighting two things at a time. There are two things involved now in the country, which is either you invest your money in bitcoin or USDT or your fight for your right because Nigeria problem is too big for prayers what we need is violence but the question is who is ready to bear the cat? After somany attempts to eliminate citizens of the country over protest of there right. The only way now is to move your money first to crypto currency.

The country is becoming worse everyday , price of things are increasing  and the worse thing about all this things is that the government is not making any effort for things to get better instead things keeps getting worse.  And since they are not making any effort for things to get better I think things may still keep on becoming worse if the government keeps handling things the way things are going. If a sachet of pure water now costs 50 naira, lowest sugar wrap over 50 naira, then what do we do with 20 naira denominations, 10 naira denominations, or 5 naira denominations? I feel like those currencies should be out of the market right now because they make no sense. Nobody would accept them, not even the Keke or bikes, or anything else. If you’re taking transportation from your home to maybe less than a kilometer, nobody will charge you less than 50 naira. So it seems like 50 naira is now the lowest denomination in town, and the dollar is the highest denomination because there are things that you want to buy with 1,000 naira that should be possible as the highest denomination. However, this is not the case. So now, I’ve already assumed that dollar is the highest denomination and 50 naira is the lowest denomination in Nigeria.

The dollar exchange rate is over 1,800 Naira today, compared to around 1,700 Naira yesterday. Predicting it to be 1,200 Naira is already outdated, and unfortunately, it’s anticipated to reach 2,000 Naira soon. Things don cast for the country, everything for market dey on the high side. You go enter market, you no go fit buy something because the price don increase and the money wey dey your hand no reach. The stats no lie and I think dem just put am up to show us how things be from Feb 2023 to Feb 2024, wey be a period of 1 year, but in reality the 100% increment start after 29 may under tinubucracy. I don see many videos online wey people dey protest because of this hard economy, my advice be say make nobody join them on that protest of a thing to go and injure themselves, how many times dey don do protest for this country wey the government don ever listen to us?  Upon the way the price of things are increasing people are  still buying. the one that shock me the most is the price of cement that was 7500 naira before is now 12500 and the big men who live abroad that have their here in Nigeria are still buying why will the price not increase already dollar is affecting the economic of the country

Tinubu administration is only thinking of palliative and not solution, moreover the palliative also ends in government offices. We have seen the way Nigerians have been hussling and fighting over food on the road and hijacking trucks of yam which is unfortunate. Unfortunately, if they don't fix the economy, there won't be an end to this inflation and food scarcity. There have not been measures to stop insecurity and farmers can't go back to farm, the rise in the cost of food is not excluded from the insecurity in the nation. So we are going to keep having this problem of rise in cost of living until the key sectors of the economy is getting attention. The electricity problem dey worst daily, no refinery, insecurity, transportation and many others dey tie the economy like wrapper.

My brother if you dey talk about dollar things, Omo people wey deir business dey for dollar dey enjoy na po. You can't compare dollar to Naira. Last two weeks dollar exchange na 1, 450 and today na 1,650 meaning say 200 hundred naira don add join. So this mean say if you hold $1,000 dat last week, you get 1,450,000 Naira and today that same $1,000 don enter 1,650,000 Naira. So the inflation for the two weeks no concern you because you already get extra 200k in Naira to stand with am. Therefore, you can't compare person wey dey collect dollar with person wey dey receive naira for this country.


My brother we still thank God but if you see Tinubu convoy you go know whether dem too get plan for this country. If you know how much government dey spend on convoy you go know say dem no want manage. So to ask people to manage or be patient dey baseless and annoying.

My brother we are heading to distruction if something is not done fast, I remember when Africa China sang his song when he was advicing our then leader that they should not let our dear nation to fall inside well the cost of living was ok then compare to now where 100 naira can't be able to afford anything.
As dollar increases in value na so price of things dey add money, if a peaceful protest is not done now you will hear more news of it how people are dieing because of hunger.
At this point we should all fasten our seat belt because it is still going to be a long drive because if something is not done fast people will start selling out their valued  properties just to be able to feed.

It is what it is brother. I am no longer surprised of what is happening in the country. My only concern is for those individuals who have a family of four or three and above. How do they cope to meet the financial need of the family if they are earning below 200k. Because i see that for a single man or woman you can manage 100k to 150k monthly but just know if you rely on that amount thinking you can reach your goals or dreams it wont be possible. The country has to come to the point where you need lots of money or push from someone who has the money before you can fulfill your dreams or bring your idea into reality.

Funny enough parents of that nature still strive to send there children to higher institutions leaving them no other option than to join the street. This is why the educational sector is failing.  Because a student cannot be in school in Nigeria and not think of a way to make money. I feel so pained for the unborn ones. They will come into a world where we there parents may have falled to set a good reputation for them. If life in our country continue this way it will be very difficult for the poor to survive anymore.

Na so everybody see am and if our government are not ready to do anything about the present economy, things will continue to get worst by the day. If we can buy a satch of water for #50, then what do expect from other commodities.

This time around is forus to try and cope and Also hope for the best, yeah having one source of income this period would make it hard for one to keep up in such economy, Mostly the salary earners with family to fed for. There is one thing that is giving me hope about this inflation that is affecting the country economy which is, nothing last forever, no matter what we are facing in this hardship, it will leave some day for people to start saving money to invest in BTC when the price dump again, but right now it will be difficult for people to save money again than to buy food items that will sustain them for a long period of time.

This is what my grandma was telling me some years ago, that I should never depend on one source of income, which I have noticed many things in this hardship that is affecting those that only depended on their salary only and, now the price of things has increased in the country but salary still remain the same.

My brother me self I just tire for everything, just see gas wey I been dy fill before, 6kg for 1800naira but now na roughly 7200naira, the one wey shock me pass, na the news i see last week wey federal government dy contemplate on stopping subsidy for electricity, I just react by saying make Dem come kukuma kill us one time.

Secondly, Another problem I see for we country is that we no dy protest, if na the Arab world wey this kind tin dy happen, Dem for don shot down the economy with protest, but we, na brother brother we dy do, even wen see say the person dy too incompetence, as e be so, na just to pray and hope, because people wey sopos take action, no gree do anything.

Literally this shit is getting out of hand, those that are having the mindset that as dollars is increasing it would make their investment more profitable. Don't forget that as the rate of dollars increasing, that are things are also getting more expensive. So even though you convert your dollar to fiat with big rate. The expenses out there would still endup taking those profit's from you.

Observed the image above during Feb. 2023 things was still expensive and we where still out there complaining at that time now compare then to now, then you know that things is more preferable than now. Look out common pure water now that was actually making 10naira to be independen back then but now 10naira is useless without adding it to other amounts.

We don't actually know where things are  going in this country but this time around, we should do things more wisely like minding the way we spend our funds, by  knowing our need from our want. This period we actually need to work with that old saying "saw your coat according to your materials" well we bless God for everything sha even though things hard we fit still dey put food for our table.
