I see OP already made a post regarding this issue in forum yesterday ,I'm a little doubtful because the project promises x50  Huh
I really think it has potential of doing a x50, i have seen much worse tokens reach 1 million mcap, so DYOR and hop on the MANLY train.
web project also doesn't seem to attract people invest ,at least for a charity project it should be clear or maybe because it's new so the progress still needs to be updated

To be honest with you, when your project is new you're the target of these people but there's no way a new project will thrive in this current market without the help of influencers as angel investors or promote the service.
Having said that, this forum of the best venue to advertise your project but you can gain attention through campaigns especially the signature campaign and you'll also need a press release on a reputable site with the inclusion of AMA on the reputable platform.

Just prove that his work is legit and brings a lot of value, then the project will be different from being searched and interested by people.

But be wary of this space as what you say is also part of the field, shitcoin is always shitcoin and don't try to be greedy by its appeal.

Start on bitcointalk.

It's one of the best platform that he can start with. As long as your friend's project isn't likely a scam or an outright scam, he could get some legitimate criticizing from the members here.

Criticism in a point on what could be the flaw and needed to have for that project.

Yes, he can start here in bitcointalk as there are so many users here in the forum. Aside from that, people know if users are just shilling or spreading fud. You can always get a very good insights from members here. They won't tolerate spamming or trolling. You can even report it to mods so they can delete unnecessary posts. He can run his own bounty or signature campaign in this forum and see what it will do to his project.
Yes, it's easier to see if the engagement is something to doubt for. There are many members here that are good in giving points about a project.

I think so too, the bitcointalk forum is the main place to introduce newly developed tokens, and I think here not only legal tokens can be advertised, but all forum members can advertise various project tokens, although there are many illegal tokens in the advertisement  Here, Telegram and Twitter are also good places to advertise tokens for the project.
It's because of its popularity.

Although it's name is named after bitcoin, this isn't just all about bitcoin but it's the forum that's entirely known for the crypto market that includes alts and new projects in development.

Obviously, you need to start with this forum, here users will be able to evaluate the project itself and perhaps tell you what the disadvantages are, then if it is approved by the community, it is possible to hold a bounty company on social networks, this will give recognition to the project and attract new investors if the project interests them.

I think this bitcointalt forum is a decent place for project developers to advertise their tokens, besides telegram and twitter are also decent places to get to know the tokens they have developed, but this place can't detect whether the advertised token is right it is legal or not, therefore we must research and check first with the token we want to recomend.

I think there are many places for project developers to advertise their tokens, including btt forums, tweeters, telegrams and other social media, here very many developers have advertised their tokens, whether it's a successful project or a project that is being developed right, besides that in the media that I mentioned, there are also many scam tokens circulating, therefore we must be careful and observant in choosing the tokens that we want to invest.

This forum is a good advertisement for successful projects, so I would advise you to read different topics, and you will find what you want, also telegram is now well developed in the cryptocurrency industry, any respected crypto project has a telegram group.

but they are flooded with bots spamming shitcoins and nobody reads it anymore. Where do you think he could advertise his project in a platform where people could listen
Advertising by paying crypto influencers, I think it's one of the most effective ways to get people noticed or you can also advertise on this forum

I have seen many shitcoins skyrocket and I myself have been rugpulled like a 3 or 4 times (and I am very careful) or directly honeypotted. I have a friend who just started a charity project and decided to give Crypto an opportunity, but he can't get pass the 10k mcap and all he is receiving is thousand of bots offering their "shilling services" or "i can moderate for 1 bnb" or shit like that.

Subreddits like cryptomoonshots could be the best way to grow, but they are flooded with bots spamming shitcoins and nobody reads it anymore. Where do you think he could advertise his project in a platform where people could listen

there are many good websites for it. but I suggest it's better to focus on developing the platform and use the promotional funds for listings in big markets like Binance, Huobi or Kucoin. this is much more useful because investors and traders will pay attention to projects like this. marketing through oversized promotions doesn't help now, it's just a waste of money and not very profitable. like you said, too many bots and people just don't care and think of them as shillings.

here do you think he could advertise his project in a platform where people could listen
There are some ways to do that.

1. Join in the various telegram trading group and you can start to shill your project
2. Try to pay more attention by creating your own announcement
3. Paying the influencer for this but as your project was a charity based project and i do believe you have minimum budget for this.

If your project is having an interesting idea and this will be so easy to attract people to come in but the different thing when your project was not offering any benefit for them all and they will never take a look at your project. So what's that for? i meant your project. Any clue about that?

Man, that's a lot. I never got rugpulled by scammers. Im also very careful to invest in the meme token.

I have a friend who just started a charity project and decided to give Crypto an opportunity,
Believe me if that will not work.

but he can't get pass the 10k mcap and all he is receiving is thousand of bots offering their "shilling services" or "i can moderate for 1 bnb" or shit like that.
Tell your friend if he can make his own announcement thread in this forum for free. Subreddit will not work.
Subreddits like cryptomoonshots could be the best way to grow, but they are flooded with bots spamming shitcoins and nobody reads it anymore.
Why are you still using subreddit? so many traders are getting centralized in the various trading groups.
Where do you think he could advertise his project in a platform where people could listen
Attracting people is not easy. You need to create FOMO to attract them to take a look at your project. A charity project will always be result in a failed project.

Even the most novice investor these days will not anymore engage to crypto projects unless there is a hype to it. Promising what it would be in few months is not working anymore unless you have some well known names behind it. Say a celebrity shilling your coin.

If there is a bullrun, its the good time for devs to promote to be featured on the top gainers on coinmarketcap. Pump it yourself. 😀 It be noticed there so make sure you present the information of your token to be a real catcher.

From what I understand it is supposed to be a charity project. OP should write more about how it will work, because it is not known whether it is to be a fundraising project by creating its own token or maybe some other structure.

Unfortunately, these charity projects that I have seen so far have ended failing and some have even turned out to be a scam, so I know from observation that this type of activity is very difficult.

Im quite new in bitcointalk. Where do you think he should post it? Thanks for your help! The project is oriented to men and charity for men issues: suicide prevention, prostate cancer and all that. They have a tax of 11% (1% for rewards) that goes to these projects because they figured it out that crypto is a mostly male thing and community will be interested.

Where to create an announcement thread depends on how he want to raise money for charity. If your friend wants to create a token that he will sell and raise funds this way, he should announce it here: Tokens (Altcoins)
If he's just want to fundraise in cryptocurrencies, I think the most appropriate place would be this thread: Politics & Society

It is a token already created. Will post there man thank you!

Unfortunately, Telegram have become mainly a place where bots create massive amounts of spam, and real projects have a hard time advertising.
I think a good idea to start with is to set up social media profiles, i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. Setting up a project group on Telegram is a good thing too. Then he can create his Announcement thread here on Bitcointalk and talk about his plans. If this is not just another project made just to raise money and disappear, I think there will be people in the Bitcointalk community who will be happy to help.
