bitinstant takes cash for a fee of 3.9% to purchase bit coins. What's wrong with doing things the traditional way? Besides, you can make out like a bandit if you time the market right. Just a few days ago I bought several block erupters for ~$65.00/each because BTC was valued @ $62.00/BTC (for a short time)...
YMMV

The easiest way for people getting started to obtain bitcoins is to go to LocalBitcoins.com, where you can arrange to buy bitcoins face-to-face with cash.

your newbie restriction will be lifted in 4 hours. I just read the newbie guide to get this information.

Haha well thank you. I haven't gotten around to reading that yet (I really should), been really busy.

You could always offer to pay a forum member and use escrow

I like the sound of this but aren't I limited to the newbie forum for now? Besides I'd like something a little more faster but I will still consider this.

It seems every search turns up a shop selling them for BTC which I don't have. I can't use Ebay because my paypal is busted at the moment and amazon is overpriced. Any links to alternative websites would be really appreciated since I'm sorta stuck on my options.
