maybe you can buy bitcoin with your friend. try to ask your friend, if he has bitcoin or not and if he has bitcoin, then you can try to buy on him. let say, you only have $100, then with using the local market rate, you can ask your friend to send the amount of bitcoin in your wallet then you can give the money to him. What are you saying 20% it is not the fees , I think they are asking for the partnership with you on your trade with that sort of fees. Go for binance the fees is mere 0.1% and you do not require the KYC to be done for the limited transaction if you have. Also it is considered to be the best exchange nowdays.

I've bought quite a few bitcoins through local bitcoins and have nothing but good experience with them and the people I did business with. I do, however, recommend that you only use cash deposit rather than something that the payment can be reversed (which ends up with you being scammed) since it's one of the easiest ways to verify that you paid with the site and the person you are buying from.
As far as i am concern, you can purchase BTC from your local community if you want to avoid exposing your personal informations publicly.
You can also try buying it through PayPal,if you try to buy it online its more risky and just like what the OP says he has to give his driver's license and so on, and those things were your personal information, and what if they will use your personal info to pretend as you and then use it illegally? you will be at risk and in the end you might be put in jail for some reasons.

Another one is changelly.com i am not sure if they don't ask for a verification. coinmama.com can also be used with a card but need verification. If you can use your bank account you can use Paymium they don't want ID infos up to 2500$. The fraud is big with cards most of them have o use to a risk for their business to accept it

In my opinion it is really necessary for them to verify your ID, probably those sites that you have tried before are under the Anti-Money Laundering or they are preventing people to use the money they have from illegal. I haven't bought bitcoin using credit or my debit card directly. What I do is I'm using my Paypal and use virwox for buying. It means that I would lose the money I paid for my gift card and it would be a waste. I think I am better off going for a direct transaction of visa debit card to bitcoin. Rather than something like visa debit to gift card to bitcoin. Because it is longer and more complex and it could go wrong.

I think that everywhere where you buy you are not asked to give your id card or id card code or something connected with your private informations.You can deposit with ATM if you have it in your city in your town,also you can exhange paypal money for bitcoin but also you can send from your bank money to one friend online to bank account and it can give you bitcoin money.

Maybe it's news to you, but credit cards can be and tend to be stolen. There's a whole criminal business dealing in stolen credit cards (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carding_(fraud)). If the real owner of the card complains and is refunded, the merchant who accepted the card is the one who takes the loss. So especially with higher-valued purchases that cannot be easily repossessed, the seller should check the customer's id thoroughly to avoid being defrauded.

Local ATMs usually got a limit of anonymity (e.g. up to $15.000 per day or so) after which you have to verify your ID. There are many "radars" of BTC ATMs on the Internet, and I doubt you won't find one near you. What is harder to be found is an ATM that also buys BTC in exchange for fiat.

For any amount, you'd have to head over to eBay or similar marketplaces and pay a premium... Some sellers don't check identification unless for new or specific users to avoid risk.
