Got a 25$ gift card, need to know some sites asap so i can buy some BTC

If you get it then you can exchange the prize for real currency and then buy the bitcoin in sites that use real currency being exchange for bitcoin. If you use the bitcoin future then I'm sure you will be getting better and benefit greatly from the use of the bitcoin and also collecting bitcoin. Because the fluctuating nature of the bitcoin and properties will be more riding than down

first post. i have been searching for the answer to that question lately and i did find it. you can use coinbase or circle, but there is waiting times to get verified and all that... i bought some btc through coin.mx.. you do have to verify your card through video, but there is a live chat on the site and as soon as you send your video in you can just chat with them live and they will verify it right away. it took me about 20 minutes to sign up and get verified to buy my btc. once you buy, you get the btc right away. no wait time. you can google reviews to see that they are somewhat a trusted site. only catch is they take 7.5% of your deposit. i bought 60$ worth btc and they got 4.5$ i believe it was. if your just trying to get some quick btc and don't care to pay fees, then that is the way to go. that is the easiest way to get btc that i have personally found.

Although we offer an Instant Buy feature for our USA customers and it requires a credit card to be linked to your account, it won't be used to fund the purchase of bitcoins. Instant works like this: If you add and verify a credit card to your account, we wil…

Heard that you will be supporting skrill accounts soon.
How will this work if it is ture?
Hi we are already supporting Skrill, you can deposit and withdraw with Skrill, however you have to have verified SpectroCoin account for it.

Use Spectrocoin prepaid debit credit card because now they support skrill which you can do what you want with it from there.
Good luck OP.

Cex.io claims to be supporting such a service. It'd certainly be faster and reliable but it needs authentication, as long as paying for fees. The bitcoin wiki has an article on how to buy bitcoins with a credit card. Read through that list but make sure to do your own due diligence before entrusting a certain service.

Your best bet is here through the forums. Sites are very limited and you have to go through loops if you end up finding one.

What i really enjoy about the responses in this thread is that many answers do not work for a prepaid visa.

Very annoying.

http://quickbt.com if you live in Canada

Only a n00b would pay 10% premium to buy BTC tho.

What do most BTM's charge in Canada?

That wont work if he received the card as a gift.
Most people on Localbitcoins want pictures of the receipt, paid in cash, not credit or debit.

I haven't tried it yet, but this might help. They transfer to BTC address but with a 19% fee though.

Worth checking out if you didn't buy the gift card yourself.

giftcarddrainer.com has some ridiculous requirements. Upload photos of card front and back? 19% fee? Wow.

One thing you can do is buy some amazon coupon or something, and then trade it for BTC.

Me to. I was trying to buy some bitcoins with credit card or bank transfer.
Most sites ask for personal details, such as income and savings, all information I am not willing to give out, especially as all I want to do is buy, its not like I am asking for credit or anything like that.
The difficulty of buying bitcoins must be a major factor in the price of bit coins.
There must be many people in the same position i.e. want to buy coins but cant find an easy way to do it, so they just give up.

This is 100% true. Buying BTC is headache. Exchanges ask you to verify. Lot of them take high % for deposit. Btc-e asks at least to deposit $2000. If you are from country outside US or EU, it is even more complicated. IF BTC should replace international wire transfers, than there must be easy way how to buy BTC fast without commissions. I am using local BTC ATM, but I am lucky to have such option, to live in a city with BTC ATM. It still takes 3% fee. Without BTC ATM in every city with fees lower than 1%, BTC is without future.

The more accepted bitcoin gets as a currency worldwide the more laws there will be regarding anonymous buying/selling. It may seem like headache but in the end it will bring good results.

Prepaid Visa cards are like Debit Cards and I think they will work at Coinbase.com and Circle.com. Not 100% sure but try and see if they accept it, do remember they might take some time to verify it.
