Yes, i learned a lot when i used to trade in the Forex Market, that teached me a lot, i learned when to trade, when to buy/sell. stop profit/stop losses, etc.
I think this was a good experience that i had before introducing myself into the cryptomarket. But i think that trading with altcoins is just muuch easier than forex, just because you can put "sell orders" and take profit if the price goes down.
So my recommendation is to start with forex market, and then move to cryptos

First things first, start with the actual stock market. That's where you going to learn a lot of terminology. If you get to one of the exchanges and look at one of the order Pages between two currencies., you'll see things that can be confusing to some people don't be 3 prices on there, to ask, the bid, and usually the last. You will need a lot of experience to fully grab all these concepts.

You'll see two list of transactions that are waiting to be filled, and then in the middle of all that you're going to try to put in your transaction information or your order information. Just learning what those columns represent and what those terms represent is a good start and that's easier to do on the regular stock market.

To involve yourself in trading is not a joke, it need time and effort before you can make profit. You need to spend time on learning about in trading. Here is the bitcointalk link illustrating regarding about in trading.
Trading is a difficult way and not for people can't keep their calm or patience in long time. Because trading like as wait the market doing as your predict and take profit, the time spend for it is unknown and you will met many impediment make you boring.

You could even start trading with 0.01 btc.You could get a clear idea of trading by seeing some you tube videos which explains about crypto trading.Try to learn various price charts provided in exchanges to trace the price movement of a certain altcoin.Do your own research to find the most under valued altcoin and don't follow the market blindly.Don't get panic at any time.

what do you want with your bitcoin after you have? is it for trading, holding, or playing gambling? because you need to find what you want. it is easy for just buy but after that, what we want to do? if you want trading, then i can give advice to go at poloniex, bittrex, kraken, and else. make an account for each of sites, deposit some amount for start trading.

there is no minimum amount of bitcoin to start but i think you need to have at least 0.003 btc to start trading, less than 0.003 btc, you only use it for transaction fee. if you don't have knowledge about trading, then i suggest to you to search more info so you can start your first trading.

the best from everything i suggested, holding bitcoin is really work for you. you don't have trading, gambling and else. just hold your bitcoin until you see the best price so you can sell your bitcoin for making profit.

Life is a game, you either play it or get played.
What comes from BTC millionaires is usually different and secretly kept due to Bitcoin being new... With everything coming out of the bubble it'll be rare to accept yourself as a failure since there's new services and features never seen in any other consideration.

I gave up luck with buying in early to focus on Internet Marketing, without this choice young luck could've been lived. I never wanted that life, but now I see goals exceeded entirely to the other side of the web.

You can learn how to use the market or a particular trading site by just reading some threads here on Trading Discussion Section, Read some threads that is related to your concern and summarize those comments or reply on different thread and somehow you will be able to understand how the market works or what are the perspective that people or traders have in making profit using a particular market or trading site. You can also find different sites to study or learn trading on different markets to make a good profit. Google is your friend but Bitcointalk is your best friend.

If you want to play a little bit of trading, then i would just advise you buying like 0.03-0.05 of BTC and going with it on POLONIEX.
It is a really good platform, very comfortable  ( at least for me ). You can change it up to any other currency, and just buy/sell with it.
You can do it of course on margin trading, which is a better idea than just exchange. You can also get/give a loan there, but i guess that would not be a thing that you are looking for.

Good luck trading cryptocurrency of any type.  If you find the logic that's behind any altcoin or even bitcoin itself, let me know.  Until then it's less risky playing the lottery.

i am sorry that you are feeling that way, but there is actually a lot of logic behind everything that is happening inside the bitcoin or altcoins market.
you just have to find that logic that controls them in different times, even hype and pump and dumps are happening with some kind of logic.

Thats great advice just doing it with paper at first. I won't hurry and ill leave this thread open for my updates......i still have to learn how and pick a platform. so im going to look into the chinese one and ill get back to you.

I have been doing the pen and paper investment with my own fake money just to get the hang of things and after a little up and down I am doing really well now.
I cant help but think that I just would never have taken some pf the risks I do on paper as I would with real bitcoins at stake.

Probably about time soon to put in something small like 0.2 and see where it gets me.

BTC price road to $80k
why don't you try to ask here and try in yobit to trade altcoin and make a profit with your bitcoin.. honestly i just learn with my self to try and learn.. just repeat it try and learn once you know how trading works.. the strategy they always doing is to buy cheap and sell high..
And if the altcoin is going to be crash theres a strategy to dont lose all your money in some altcoin just decrease your selling price gradually until your stocks are all drain..

Yes it is the ad under it appears you have one.

Once you get to Sr member and above it is a nice thing to have.  You will in no way get rich off of it.  But can earn a little for something you would do anyways.  It is more profitable then faucets.

i see ts like 8000 satoshi a post for jr member and i just noticed right now im a member does that mean i get paid this week for a member?

you should join 777coin, they pay well for newbies, jr and member(12k satoshi right now 50% more than what you are earning now), then(when you reach full member) you can move on something else like dadice or bit-x
Isnt 777 some kind of casino?? thee the ones that pay 12,000???

You must be talking about 12k Satoshis I guess...
12000 Satoshis = 0.00012 BTC.

BTC is not a get rich quick scheme.  If you have a opportunity that says you will get rich quick chances are it's a scam.

I think you are better off looking long term (1 year or possibly longer).   If you look long term you don't fret day to day drops or going up.

If I had to throw out "quickest" way I would say it's buying BTC right now then selling later.  Only thing is we have been in 240's for a little bit.  And we have not manage to stay over 300 in a while.

Unless you risk it and trade in high volume - $100,000 + buy and sell when margin moves up by $3.

But lets be realistic,

Who would do that? LOL

Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme.  You can mine, sell goods or services, signature campaign, trade.  All take time you cannot just do nothing and make anywhere close to "ok" money.

As far as BTC if you cant do one of the things above then your looking at buying it.   But there is no guarantee you can lose money if done wrong.

Hi, I am very green when it comes to buying and selling bitcoin for a profit. Can anyone tell me where the best place to learn and what is the minimum amount of bitcoins to start with, is there micro trading untill i get the hang of it??

You just can learn trading by your experience. Don't believe in anyone . They can cheat you. If they're a good trading. they were millionaire.

They wont have time to teach you. They were on holiday in the Caribbean

I think you are a little unfair on this.  I am not a day trader, but I doubt near all of day traders are millionaires.

I do agree about watching out for your coins.  Not everyone but some are out for their self and a scammer.  But if something sounds to good to be true chances are it is.

There's a vast amount to learn. Successful people might have been wiped out several times before they started to make a profit. I suspect consistent successes are few and far between.

Paper trading for a few months will tell you whether you've got a knack for it or not. Exchanges will normally let you trade in very small amounts. The Chinese exchanges like OKCoin and Huobi have zero fees. Fees will add up if you trade often.

It's a game most will lose at. Keep that in mind.
Thanks for the link, i have been looking for something just like this, I've been trading small amounts, under 1btc and every now and then i pull off a good trade and make a small profit, easy too loose also if you don't know what your doing.

This type of thing takes YEARS to learn, I'm afraid. You'd have to do like 6+ months of FOREX on a demo account, to learn all types of patterns, trading strategies and whatnot, try and lose your real money on FOREX first, and maybe just maybe start to get the hang of it to do Bitcoin.

Or try blind luck.

Hello @goldkey0070 my friendly advice before start anything is to understand how the whole market work, also before get in the trading world even if you are looking for arbitrage opportunities is good to give a little time to practice with a pen and a paper to avoid mistakes, calculate charges/fees and to see if you can control it and can be profitably for the amount you are going to invest in.I am sure that you will find many sources online, just dont be hurry!

Kind Regards,
