@chartsqa, if you mean referral links, then they are prohibited in posts (except in some exceptions), but you can put such links in your signature as well as in the Website URL and as Personal Text, which you can find by clicking on Profile -> Forum Profile Information.
Nice you have given Op many options to go about shilling his project. It is just that OP is a newbie and is likely hit by a few restrictions that might not allow them use signature space and personal text. That being said, I have seen people who indirectly promotes their links or projects in the a thread. But in the end, forum users do understand that they are just shilling their projects but I am not sure such posts are always deleted. Maybe moderators do not delete them because the topic creators were small enough not to shill obviously.

An example of such thread could be something like this. If I have a casino referral code to advertise. I'll first go this way.
I was directed by my friend to play here, I was skeptical to do so. Has anyone tried to use this casino? I used it and won big with alot of bonuses. You can try it also www.bitciontalkcasino.com

newbies cannot wear a signature or Personal Text, you cannot promote referral links, you need to level up or purchase a copper membership.

You can buy a domain for $2 on Namecheap and then redirect your newly bought domain to your affiliate site, you can then put your domain name on your signature space just create a catchy phrase, the domain should be short so that people can copy easily and paste it in their browser or you can create a Youtube video that explains the platform where you want people to sign up, then redirect your domain there, it will only take you 48 hours than waiting for weeks or months to find a way to promote your platform here, just be sure that the site you're promoting is not a scam site.

you are allowed to place referral links directly in your signature, redirecting sites is a loss of a few dollars.

But it is not a live link since he is a newbie you cannot expect people to copy-paste the whole affiliate code that's on your signature but by having a $2 worth of domain and redirecting your domain to the site you are promoting, and you have one year to use that $2 domain and you can redirect or change redirection to any affiliate site you're promoting its not a waste of few dollars if you're an affiliate marketer, this is how CPA promote their affiliated sites and it always works.

Is there a place on this forum, or elsewhere, where I can post my invite codes for crypto projects, without it getting taken down?

I posted in Project Development but my post was silently deleted or something.
You are still not thorough about this question in my opinion and I believe that this is not a big project, so it will be difficult for you to open a campaign for it which is most acceptable on the forum. Nonetheless, you can still find a way around it if you are clever enough. First, note that direct codes for personal gains might not be allowed on the forum even though some are still cleverly doing it and people look away.

You might first want to state what your crypto project is all about before I or other people can be able to put you through on the most clever way you can do it and that will not break the rules of the forum.

What do you mean by invite code, are they affiliate links, referral links, or promotion links? Please be specific as if they are any of the three then you can only use your signature to post it. As your account rank is Newbie you won't have the privilege to use your signature space. A rank of a Member does allow you to use the signature space, but that will need you to get 10 merits and some activities.

The other alternative for you is to create an announcement page for your project depending on what your project is all about on the relevant board. If you want to add images on the announcement page then you can buy the Copper Membership and if not then you can leave your invitation code on the announcement page. I would recommend you buy a Copper Membership as users here would not click on your invitation code due to your account rank which is a trust issue.

There are some gambling threads here in BitcoinTalk that use invite codes to track their engagement here in BitcoinTalk. I think this is only allowed if you are the representative of that casino. However, I haven't read about this; I've seen many gambling threads doing this even in signature campaign threads with image hyperlinks so I think it is allowed.

I myself have some doubts about ref links in posts, especially in Gambling boards, because I saw that some members of the forum do exactly what is prohibited by the rules of the forum. In this topic, the global mod explained his position, but in the end it all boils down to the personal opinion of the moderator in the specific case.

newbies cannot wear a signature or Personal Text, you cannot promote referral links, you need to level up or purchase a copper membership.

I didn't know that newbies can't even have a personal text, but I guess that everyone can make a little effort and become a Jr.Member in a very short time.

No, it's not allowed to post your invite codes on this forum in posts or threads, but you may be able to set that invite code on other fields that are available to newbies.

However, as a newbie you may not be able to put that invite code on your Signature space or personal text but if you continue posting good stuff on this forum then you might get a merit from someone.

In order to be a Jr member you'll have to earn a merit and have 30 activity points and then you can post your invite code via your personal text and via your signature space.

I'm not fully sure but I think if you purchase cooper membership then your account will provide some of the features of member rank and you might be able to set signature.

As mentioned by other members, it's not allowed but there could be a few exceptions and you must have a good reason for it -- it must be not for the sake of spamming

See:
Your question shares a lot of similarities with this[1] one posted some time ago by Lucius. Here are two views, one according to theymos and another to hilariousetc:
Technically they're against the rules, but people kinda started to get a free pass in the Gambling Discussion sub a while back. Personally, I don't really care about them regarding users like tipsters who are giving their picks away for free and include a ref link if anyone wants to put the bet through them. At least they're putting some effort or at least thought into their posts, but I'm sure many others (including mods) would disagree. If someone just signs up to post a ref link though that would be a different story. Theymos will probably say take them on a case by case basis but I'm sure everyone has a different opinion on in what context they should or shouldn't be allowed (especially regarding tipsters).
There are exceptions, but there's also room for interpretation between staff members. In this scenario I would say that we can't really help you further until you post the reason that led you to ask this question and then we can share our opinion regarding such evidence / referral link.

If you do happen to get approved. I would suggest adding a bolded note about it in your post otherwise it might get deleted again.

Which means you can't post your invitation codes here, you can check up on another platform which allows users to put on their invite codes to refer someone, I don't think you will have the chance to that next time so you have to take caution, be very vigilant and not try do something fishy which is against the rules of the platform.

Signature spaces are the only place where we're allowed to put those invite codes or referral links. And it was deleted because it's on the rules that they're not allowed on posts.

4. No referral code (ref link) spam. [1]

And you as a newbie, don't have signature space yet. Earn at least 1 merit to rank up to jr member and you'll have a signature space where you can put that link.

Otherwise, you can avail copper membership to have the privilege as a member rank and also have that signature space.
