Poor impulse control.
DeepBit is investing in ASICs and should have some out later this year. But I think the thread name should be changed to "Mining companies".

with respect, mining pools are very different to mining "companies" that sold mining bonds

no pool I am aware of has invested into asic, though Inaba from EMC is now an employee of BFL
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/btc-mining-pools-list-104664 is a list of mining pools Smiley

I too am curious to see if the companies that sold mining bonds get information from GLBSE that will allow them to honour established contracts.

That is an interesting question.  I would also be interested if those companies started offering private shares and managed their investments on an individual basis.

I don't know why those companies do start managing their own shares and users, seems like if they have a solid solution then manage the investing on their own it would give them a strong op picture.

Hi everyone, I'm curious if anyone has created any sort of index of mining companies that have rebounded from the GLBSE closure, and have continued to honour their shareholder agreements?

Do we have details on which pools are most heavily invested in ASICs, and from which companies? Who do we invest in to hedge against BFL delivering?
