Are you running Windows or Linux?

I know for Windows (especially Windows 10), you need to ensure that "incoming connections" to your Bitcoin Core are ON for Armory to work properly... either set it in the GUI settings (Settings -> Options -> Network) or use the "listen=1" setting on commandline or in bitcoin.conf

You also need to use the "server=1" setting, for Armory to be able to talk to your Bitcoin Core properly.

Have I lost the bitcoin that was already sent?? Will it be returned to my other wallet or is it gone forever??

If you have used the correct address, your bitcoins are not lost.
You can enter your address into a blockchain explorer (e.g. blockchain.info) and check whether the transaction went through successfully (1+ Confirmation).

Make sure that you have a backup of your wallet file / seed / private keys. This will ensure that you will always be able to access your coins (with or without armory).

It still says I'm offline

Hello

So I bought some bitcoin which i deposited on my electrum wallet.

I was moving some into my Armory wallet, using the receive bitcoin address it provided to me, and nearly 2 hours later I am still waiting for the bitcoin to appear in my wallet.

It still says I'm offline

What can I do about this?

has my bitcoin that I already sent been lost forever?
