Huh anyone knows?

@TomerX you can buy it from local bitcoins,
LBC now requires KYC to even create an account, and buy coin. I am confident to say that a minor will be unable to sign up and use their services.

Aren't there prepayment cards that can be used to make payments via the credit card networks. Whilst not strictly credit cards, I understand that they can be used to start to rebuild a bad credit history.

@TomerX you can buy it from local bitcoins, though I’m not sure what’s the age limit to buy bitcoins there read their terms and conditions before you make a purchase. Then you could head out to currency exchange section here and buy it from reputed seller like @Naster, I have had multiple deals with him all went well. Also I hope your country’s rules and regulations, allow you to purchase crypto currency otherwise you could land in legal trouble.

Nowhere. Both Paypal and credit cards have a minimum age of 18 years.
I think with parents agreement you can have credit card (parents vouch for your financial decisions).

I believe a parent can have a credit card account in their name, and the parent can add anyone as an authorized card holder that can make purchases on the account, but I don't believe the child can actually enter into a credit agreement, even with a co-signer.

OP, I don't believe any exchange will be willing to sell coin to you. The reason being that, as a 14 year old, you lack the capacity to enter into any kind of contract, unless for shelter, food, or education. Any contract entered into by a minor is voidable by the miner, and as such, any exchange is unable to bind you to any of their terms.

Actually there's (at least) something called Mastercard Young, where the parents can make cards for the kids (6-14 years!).
You are right, it's not a credit card, it's a debit card, but somehow I expect most kids don't really understand nor care about the difference.

However, OP, if you are 14 years old, best is to ask your parents nicely to buy for you. And that's especially because Bitcoin is, after all, a highly volatile asset and a risky investment, so you may have to rely on their judgement.

I believed that kind of cards has restriction since it's designed for kids. I doubt they can make transactions in terms of purchasing BTC or related services if ever.

The best thing for OP is to ask the parents instead. Don't make this secret after all. Surely, the money will come from his parents. Giving suggestions might lead the OP to not telling the truth. Or maybe if OP wants to surprise his parents in the future that he now lots of money, ask some trusted seniors instead. He will be safe after all since purchased BTC will be stored at his own wallet and he will accompany the account owner while buying BTC. I just don't know on what level of knowledge does OP has now in terms of buying and storing BTC.

Another way is to buy BTC on Abra from here https://www.abra.com/buybitcoin/simplex/
You can buy there with Debit/Credit card(Paypal is not supported yet) I don't know if they require KYC right now but most people here in my country bought BTC there in instant without KYC.

Let me ask if the CC is from your parents? If yes you can pass any KYC verification by contacting your parents and make a selfie with IDs and pass it to abra if they required a KYC verification.  You can also buy in Coinbase and submit the selfie of your parents with ID to pass the KYC.

Try using Bisq dex exchange.
No registration is needed.
https://bisq.network/

Or try to connect with your local Bitcoin community.

Ask your parents for permission and Good Luck!

Huh anyone knows?

anywhere that lets you buy BTC with a credit card will probably require KYC, including passport/ID card. they'll see that you aren't 18 and won't let you complete the purchase or create an account.

you can probably use https://www.virwox.com/ to deposit via paypal, buy second life currency (SLL), then trade that for BTC. be aware that it's technically against virwox's terms to open an account if you are under 18, but i believe all you need to create an account is a name and email.

You'll have to ask your parents to do that for you. I know/knew minors that were interested in BTC as well, and the most I could do for them was to convince their parents to buy a bit of BTC for them. Those parents were naturally a bit hesitant, and some didn't end up buying BTC for their children, but it worked out for some of 'em.

If your parents allow you to buy BTC, you could try signing up for an exchange that allows you to purchase BTC with a credit card like Bitstamp and acquire BTC through there, or potentially through a site like Paxful or LocalBitcoins where you can buy BTC with PayPal. Very few places allow you to buy BTC with a credit card without identification because of fraud, though, so you'll also need your parents to provide that if you want to buy BTC with a credit card.

Not sure with Paypal in this case, but buying BTC with those two methods, risky, hard, expensive.

Huh anyone knows?

Why don't you find a Bitcoin ATM near you and purchase it with cash instead?
