Also do you get to read some sort of tutorial before you can work as staff member on the forum. As far as I have read others the selection is through DT members list who can become staff ahead right?

There is a guideline but not an official rulebook as you don't see any official rules in the forum. Default Trust is a completely different network and it had nothing to do with being a Moderator.

EFS is not a Patroller , he is a Staff Member (known as a Moderator) , a Moderator has more rights for doing stuff specialy in his Board.

That's not true. I'm a Patroller since 2014. Staff is the general name written outside of our dedicated boards, which is Turkish local board and Digital Goods board for me. You can see Moderator tag in dedicated boards and Staff in all other boards. However Patroller is not indicated with a special tag.

I ask this question because I made a mistake recently, so my accuracy percentage drops ( just wanted to know how it's been calculated)
Don't worry about the accuracy of your report because your one good report is more valuable than several bad reports. Let the moderators handle your report and know that they have their interpretation in handling it. You can learn from those mistakes especially when you want to report another post. Some of the posts you consider worthy of deletion may be inappropriate according to moderators, so find out why.

I’m hearing the word Patroller for the first time or may be never been concerned about this type of question on the forum.
A Patroller has restricted Moderator rights , as far i know they can move posts (and maybe Topics) to the Trashcan also i guess it depends on the Rank from where the post or Topic is made.

Since you are a patroller and you already know how to perform the moderation activity then why is it you are not authorised for the above Junior member ranks moderation or activity checks?

To work as or to get a Moderator , Staff Member is the decision of theymos and maybe also Cyrus.
It has nothing to do with the DT Members List that you can become a Staff Member and it also has nothing to do with the Rank.
For example Halab wasnt a Legendary Member and in the DT 1 when he was become and get the Moderator Rolle.

..And I would add that being a DT member (a bit polemical)[/size] is the best way to not become a moderator.
"Polemical " ??.. that's such an emphasized adjective to be backed-up with another adverb - a bit. But, it's really cool though to bring that to my notice...what??..yeah, I mean the fact that DTs don't have any possible chances of becoming moderators...

Only Theymos can answer this question.
But we "know" that the number and relevance of your reports can be important. And I would add that being a DT member (a bit polemical) is the best way to not become a moderator.

Have been curious on where the comment made when reporting a post to a moderator goes and how is the accuracy of the comment is been calculated?
Also, who is the current Moderator in beginners and Help board since MiningBuddy has not been active since 2018.

Reports go to the report page which is only accessible to Staff. Moderators check reports from their jurisdiction area.
If the board has no dedicated moderator then Admins or Global Moderators will handle it.

There is also a Patroller position, which handles posts from Newbie users. For example, I'm a Patroller. If you report a post from Newbie in Bitcoin Discussion board I can handle that report. But if that user become a Jr. Member then I can't see that report.

Oh that is interesting workflow. How many workflow postings exists on the forum or under Theymos. I’m hearing the word Patroller for the first time or may be never been concerned about this type of question on the forum. That's not supposed to be any of your business since it is the sole responsibility of the moderators to handle that and channel to the appropriate and required path if needs be from their own end, the moderators, staffs and admin each have their own role and the aspect that you got concerned is only to see the accuracy of the reports you made, but i want to believe they always handle reports as appropriately needed, not only when you make report they notice somethings, they are also working to see some aspects being in place and act accordingly even when no one is reporting them.

Also, who is the current Moderator in beginners and Help board since MiningBuddy has not been active since 2018.

Though some boards may be having upto two moderators knowing or unknowingly to us, theare are staffs as well, global moderators and other forum officials which i may not be aware of their positions, which means it may appears a board isn't moderated by us sometimes, but have you discover on the beginners and help board where a thread is being locked, moved, deleted? That alone is a clear answer that there's someone moderating it even as we don't know who is.

honestly, I don't see any sense of curiosity in your questions but it that's the case, then global moderators are responsible for checking every board.

Leave it to the moderators to decide; they may agree with you, while you can draw the right conclusions for yourself. And in the same way, moderators can mark your reports as bad, so you need to accept this and think about why the report was accepted as bad.
If you have already made more than 300 reports, then you will see statistics where you can see one or another rating for each report.
However, remember the rule: "Don't worry too much about your accuracy; one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports." And keep helping keep the forum clean.

Then they might be able to use it is for illegal activities  Grin. Why did you post this shit topic? If you had done some research on how a forum backend works? You would have got all the answers.
Then I will appreciate if you can help me with such post

How accuracy has been calculated? By just labeling your reports as good, bad, and unhandled but it all depends on the mod who handle your report. The Sum your good reports divide it by the number of your total reports then multiply by 100 and you will get your percentage of all reports as your accuracy.

It goes to the moderators in general.. I wasn't hoping to see a question like this when you've clearly asked another question engulfing the fact that you knew we've got moderators already, and that you've Known what they're obliged with... So what's the point asking unnecessary questions in the first place??

Yeah,... mining buddy hasn't been active for a while now...but that doesn't mean we haven't got other moderators that handle boards unanimously... honestly, I don't see any sense of curiosity in your questions but it that's the case, then global moderators are responsible for checking every board.

how is the accuracy of the comment is been calculated?
MiningBuddy has not been active since 2018.

By accuracy, do you mean how the moderators are able to tell if the report is correct? When giving a report about a post, you have to be concise and provide a clear proof of the problem you want the moderators to check out. By doing this you may have a high chance of your report being  addressed by moderators.

who is the current Moderator in beginners and Help board since MiningBuddy has not been active since 2018.

There was a topic before in 2019 about the issue of replacing minigbuddy as the moderator of B&H since he hasn't actually been active for a while now. Here's a quote from hilariousandco on this matter

Quote
it does need a dedicated mod though, just like several other sections do. MiningBuddy may still be listed there but he hasn't been a mod for quite some time. Theymos just hasn't removed his name from there.

There is no current moderator of The beginners and help board and I don't think that Theymos has the plans of adding any soon. We have some other boards without moderators and I think the global moderators are taking care of such boards. so buddy there's nothing to be worried about. If you have any report to make then feel free drop them, a moderator will surely look into it.

Everything happening on this forum goes to the Administrator. Comment and topic goes to the moderators. Moderators are categorised as global and local. A global mod has access to all boards, local mods have access to local boards. There is a system administrator who takes care of the forum backend software. The front end was never upgraded to the new version. I assume this process is still being handled by the admin.

If you think your email Id is safe or not then you should rethink your registration here. Everytime you log in or log out the admin will know it. Then they might be able to use it is for illegal activities  Grin. Why did you post this shit topic? If you had done some research on how a forum backend works? You would have got all the answers.

There are global moderators that can moderate all boards. Or theymos will have a better answer to this.
