A lot of people are creating their own currency in the last couple of weeks and a lot of scammers trying their luck in the market. I dont think that this will hold for a long time.
I think so far the US stock market is growing at such a rate - this will be continue.

Most of them comes from some tech nerds who have nothing else to do.
Forking a coin is now so simple, you can do it watching youtube for some hours.

That's what I thought as well. If everyone can do this it's gonna become more common, which means it loses worth.

there are two different ways:
1. the correct way.
you as a developer or as a team, use your experience in cryptography, economics, blockchain technology, and a couple of other stuff to create a new project. you usually code it from scratch and create the new coin.
when you do that, you just have to put the word out and the project will pick up and become popular on its own because it will be worth it.
you can invest in it in the early stages, mine it, or ... to be also involved with it and make a lot of money when your project becomes popular.
example: bitcoin! Satoshi is speculated to own nearly 1 million bitcoin because he was one of the people who mined bitcoin in early days. now it is worth $5,700,000,000 growing day by day.

2. the wrong or lazy way.
you have the smallest experience in programming, the technology, cryptography,... so you just copy paste some code and change a couple of variables making it look different and release it.
to advertise you have to spend a lot of money to trick others into believing your project has a future and fool them into buying it.
to make money you will have to run an ICO and/or premine the shit out of your coin then dump those coins when you get them and as soon as possible.
example: most altcoins Cheesy

Can anyone explain how altcoin get launched in this market? Can everyone just create some new CC and launch it somehow or how does this work?
Altcoin basically gets launched in this market via development and anyone can create their own altcoin using the services of waves or eth for erc20 tokens. One can also create an altcoin of their own without depending on the two platform mentioned when they have knowledge in computer language and setting up nodes. Altcoins basically are distributed via ICOs or any other sort of airdrops but everyone cannot just create a new altcoin and launch it somehow or else it would be a shitcoin. One first needs a concept in order to start an altcoin.

Yes, anyone with half a brain and a little bit of time can launch a new coin, however to create something which will actually have a use and develop a project around this with a strong team and advertising etc requires a lot of work and investment upfront.

actually anyone can make a variety of coins but definitely the first thing in the run various stages of the need to be sufficient capital big.but there is also a problem that we have to complete with quick that is to immediately promote coins to the public so as to attract enthusiasts and has a value of selling high when marketed.
