I'm looking to purchase more bitcoins but recently I have seen the price heading down.  Now I am trying to decide if it would be best to purchase now or to hold off 4-6 weeks.

Would be interested to hear some "guesses" as to where the price will go over these next 4-6 weeks?

If I was you I'd buy now. I think we could potentially drop to around 250 in the next week or two but that's no guarantee. What I can almost guarantee is that these are cheap coins that should be gobbled up by people who need to accumulate.

As for the question in the OP I think the price will be around 280-290 by the end of September 2015. I'm not a chart expert though & it's just a (semi) educated guess Grin

it's currently a great time to buy as i don't think the bitcoin price will go under $250. buy now 50% and keep the other 50% for when it goes more down.

Should be somewhere around $250. The Greek bump has vanished completely. So until the next bump, we'll be stuck in the $225-275 range. Also, the USD is too strong right now, which is affecting the exchange rates in the European Union and Australia. The devaluation of Ruble and Hryvnia has affected Bitcoin exchange rates in Russia and Ukraine as well.

I can't see bitcoin heading over 300 that's for sure. I keep seeing it go down to just over 220-230 so it looks like it's going down especially before Xmas when everyone wants to liquidate and spend, so around 230 is my prediction max.

I believe the bitcoin price will stay between $200 and $300. In last month the price of bitcoin showed all the signs of recovery, sitting slightly above the $275 mark because there was a good news from russia, ukraine and vietnam, as well as the greece debt crisis and chinese market crash, all seem to have contributed to the recent growth of bitcoin.

i think the recent issue about the fork will put a good pressure for the upcoming months, we won't see anything high in value for the time being and september is too near to have some impressive changes
the price will sit at the present value for a very long time, until at least all the hassle are done and we can move on the next step, so my prediction is this value + 50% at best

I can feel it won't go higher than $300 but won't go lower than $250 , that's only my guess Grin

I won't say that bitcoin's price will bump and reach 1000$ or something like that by end of sept 2015
honestly I think that bitcoin may trade in 300-320$ range at the time, we see quick and big profits in gambling and bitcoin is not gambling its an investment in future. so expect to grow with stability not with speed.

Bitcoin is a long term investement so if you aren't patient then this is not for you . you could buy now and wait for 5-10 years and see how much the price would be Smiley
I'd say it won't go above 300$ for the end of september so just buy and hold for long term that's my recommendation .

I think in the range of $250-$290. Definitely not above $300 as that is an unlikely target for this year.
