I usually monitor the condition of cryptocurrency prices using only bituniverse because I don't have too much time to open an exchange site.
I think thread move to spam so don't post continuously in others because they ask the market status site. But already many peoples are suggested the right one and That newbie was already sleeped in one month ago so don't waste your time in these kind of topics. Myself it is not recommend to post anybody again in this thread.

You can read the charts of bitcoin or any cryptocurrency on tradingview.com . Although you might find it a bit confusing to use in the beginning it will be more convenient as you keep using it. It provides a variety of tools which you can get your hands on . Watch a few youtube videos to know how to use tradingview.com . Work with the moving averages and try to analyse the market. This is how I monitor the prices of various cryptocurrencies.

I am using Binance Exchange platform, and I find trading there great,
because of low fees and decent daily trading volume. Regarding charts,
I mostly use Binance's chart (the advance setting), but sometimes I also
use tradingview, in tradingview you can use more tools and also alarms.

There are many great cryptocurrency trackers, and they are all more than enough to keep an eye on the market. one of them; CoinMarketCap, Blockfolio, CoinTracker.network. etc. Of course, there are alternatives other than just those mentioned, but they are my favorites.

Greetings,

A crypto newbie here.

I was wondering where everyone else's going to monitor live currency flow??

Please do share~

Thanks Cheesy

for bitcoin, I use tradingview, coinmarketcap, and bitcoinwisdom. bitcoinwisdom and tradingview help me easy to draw some line to predict on where bitcoin price wants to go. coinmarketcap helps me to see the volume of bitcoin at the market. maybe there are other sources that you can use and I don't use because we have a different method to monitor the flow at the market. but all website monitor can help us to find the best price to buy and sell so we can take the profit.

I use this website.

https://www.tradingview.com/

I love this website because it is not only exclusive for Crypto currency. As I trade in other markets i can easily see my other investments and check the charts of my stocks on that website.

Same here.
Eversince I do trading and checking btc's/altcoins price, I always use tradingview. You can also download t.view app for more features. Also, it is a user friendly interface for a newbie like you. You can explore it and I assure you you'll enjoy it's features as you can draw lines for resistance and add more than one indicators on it.

i usually refer to coinmarketcap.com site, for real-time, i find the android wallet bituniverse very helpful.  you can try installing bituniverse, and set your own portfolio wherein you can track each of your coins for increase/decrease in price.

nobody seems to be pointing this out that you don't "monitor" charts, you monitor the "price" and "analyze" the charts.

for monitoring price you just need to set some automatic orders such as stop loss or some alerts or something like that. for analyzing  charts the exchange charts would suffice unless you are on some shitty exchange with horrible charts.

those who say coinmarketcap do not know the meaning of "live" or have never traded in their lives.

I prefer to monitor graphs and coin values directly in exchange, I also install an app that made the exchange on a smartphone so that it is easier to monitor the coin value that I buy and sell. You can also see crypto at coinmarketcap.com, there is also have information about exchangers, volume, and prices of cryptocurrency.

I don't usually monitor the price movement, but every time I buy I just look at the exchange chart which is more convenient for me. But I think Coinmarketcap is a great place for you to monitor coins, and it can help you decide where to invest. Just make sure you know how to read charts because its useless if you are just looking at it without proper knowledge.

what do you mean by "the live chart"? If you have an account of any exchange site then you can see the live chart there. As long as I guess you are asking live chart after seeing the coinmarketcap chart. However, if you don't have an account of any exchange just choose any exchange site from coinmarketcap coin details and you will see that which you want.

i always go to coinmarketcap.com to see the general trends of top coins.  then for android, i have this app called bituniverse which can give more detailed info regarding how the coin/token is performing in exchanges, including money flow.
Coinmarketcap cannot really give much information you will need when it comes to monitoring the charts and would only give you more of a graphical summary of the current market. For a better view, the likes of coinigy, trading view or even mobile apps such as tab traders are good for these kind of things if one is looking at monitoring a live chart and even being notified based on some positions.

I always go to the trading view.com to monitor the live chart. This platform contains Stock, forex, commodities, bonds. Best tools for analysis charts like RSI, volume bank support and resistance also you can save the charts to share with others.
Trading view as always been a very good spot for me after I really got pissed off with coinigy laggy issues sometimes. When it comes to indicators, this is one place you will really see loads of them.

Also, tab trader is also one other useful tool as well which helps you to monitor live charts on the go for any of the cryptocurrency market and can even use your API to trade on them directly without stress. The only little thing here that does not really make it more like a desktop web app like coinigy or trading view is the number of indicators, but really for someone who is just swinging the market; it is still a very good option.

I am usually not taking the special platform which is giving us the real time data but I just check it out at the exchangers which I believe in and use the most. These exchangers includes Binance, Huobi and Gate. These are the trusted exchanges for me and thus I keep making my real deals with the data that is being shown on these platforms only. This also gives me advantage of having the trades chart handy as I go on trading over these exchangers and thus can fulfil my requirement immediately. :-)

actually there are lots of live trading charts to monitor overall market activity, but it would be great to observe from one side of the market / exchange, in general, tradingview can also help, it can also be a study guide for studying chart charts, compared to only charts in the internal market sometimes do not match the current market situation

use the same exchange that you are trading on, everything else are third parties that are showing you the same exact thing in a different interface using that exchange API services. for example bitcoinwisdom that others introduced and sometimes there may be delays (haven't seen on this site yet) or bugs that has happened in the past.

Reading the graph takes months to become an average, and even the best guys will be wrong. So set realistic goals and start to see the charts story instead of just up and down.
it does not allow you to make many adjustments, but you can get up to 6 panels on a single monitor which is a feature on trading that usually costs money

You can track them via bitcoin wisdom, but if you want to a portable and simple tracker, you can use tabtrader. It is very easy to watch our asset and spread of several markets. Besides that, what do you want to do? arbitrage or just trading? If you want to trade, why you just see the live currency flow at there? I guess the exchange especially big exchange already has provided it completely

There are many website meant to check the crypto currency changes. In that Coinmarketcap and Coingecko are really widely used website mate. I want your time on Google to find the better one for you mate.
If you want to check the price changes I believe you will not be sustain on the crypto investment for long time.
Because you may not understand the the price fluctuations happening the market for long time mate.

For an overview there is coinmarketcap and coingecko which are both useful tools, but if it's just a handful of coins then download the blockfolio app onto your smartphone so you can keep checking your favorite coins throughout the day in a small and easy to use interface.

You can use whatever, but if youre more interested in learning the technical analysis and want to use more professional charts I would use tradingview.com (And if not supported on tradingview, you can use professional looking charts on coinigy for a monthly fee).

As far as monitoring it, if you are actively trading as a noobie PLEASE use higher time frames (4hr) or above or you're gonna have some serious panic attacks. Charts on lower time frames are way too emotional and you will be a mess.  Look to swing trade before day trade and learn to day trade before you consider trading on margin (and even then 2x at most).  Reading charts is a process and a form of storytelling.

As you start to familiarize yourself with time of charts and candle patterns, move to basic technical analysis tools:

Fibonacci Retracements
Trendlines
Moving Averages
Bollinger Bands

Then move to more advanced tools:

Stoch RSI
Ichimoku Cloud
MACD on different time frames

Reading charts takes months to be average, and even the best people will be wrong.. so set realistic goals and start to see the story of the chart.. not just up and down.

Good luck with your journey, and welcome to Crypto.

Edit: As a bonus, this site has tradingview charts stacked, it doesnt allow you to do as much with the customization, but you can get up to 6 panels on one monitor which is a feature on tradingview that typically costs money.. https://www.multicoincharts.com

Welcome to the biggest bitcoin family. Almost everyone follows the Coinmarketcap to see the coins price and price up down chart. Coinmarketcap is the best website to know about the exact coins price on time. Though many alternative websites show coins price, but, the coinmarketcap has the best value. You can use its app too, just search on the play store by its name. Good luck.
