Coinbase

You pay a slight premium for using them.  But the convenience is great.  They also appear to have all of the coins that they say they have:  http://antonopoulos.com/2014/02/25/coinbase-review/

Once in awhile you will see that you cannot buy coins at market price until (2-4 days).  This is temporary because they 'ran out' of coins and needed to get more from their cold storage.

I've also used CampBX but be advised that they have 0 customer support.  However, they accept USPS money order if you want to buy anonymously.

Personally, i use campBX. haven't had any issues so far. Smiley

You must not have visited the site lately. CampBX has lost all ability to transfer to fiat. [Edit: It didn't occur to me at first but CampBX is probably great for buying bitcoins, just not for selling and cashing out.]

Coinbase is great.

Localbitcoins is crawling with law enforcement looking to bust unlicenced exchangers so don't offer your coins or cash as a business or service, only for your personal purposes. I am just staying away from there completely.

Thanks for all the replies.

The initial question was looking specifically towards miners. I understand many simply hold the majority of their coins and are waiting...
But some sell regularly. Looking for the ones selling regularly- are you selling on an exchange, off exchange etc?

All depends what do you mean by sell.

Do you want to sell and then buy again when its low, aka Trading?

Or Do you just want FIAT to be in your bank?

I personally use BTC-e as my trading platform.

And I also use Coinbase, to withdraw FIAT.

Both are they services are good.  Coinbase does take around a week to send your money to your bank, but I guess that's the normal speed for any ACH transfer.

CoinBase, LocalBitcoins, eBay, spend them at the shops through BitPay www.scan.co.uk (PC hardware) www.takeaway.com (Food/Drink) www.overstock.com (everything else), or sell your GH directly on Gex.IO...

...but mostly we have to invest them in new hardware to keep up with difficulty! Roll Eyes 20% every 12 days = 50% per month to stay even!

As a newbie to Bitcoin (and a newbie to this site) this would make me avoid MtGox cause of their reputations.
And so I'm using Coinbase right now but Kraken were / on my short list cause I've read there are a lot of people who are glad to use it.

For me personally, Coinbase.  Great if you're in the US, and have a bank account and a credit card(Visa).

If you can spare 3-4 days, the coins to dollars will arrive in your bank account at the Bitstamp price(almost identical) you sold at.

I've had major issues lately with CampBX.  I switched over to CoinMKT and it's been great, although the prices and liquidity, frankly, stink.

no gox-like shenanigans.

Why is MtGox's buy price so low at the moment?  Just curious, if anyone knows?

I bought in and out with coinbase twice. Bank wire transfers usually take 3 business days. So far so good. If youre from the US you should give them a try.

I use coinbase to buy and sell, very reliable and no gox-like shenanigans.  I've always had access to my account, withdrawals are done in 4 business days or less. Buys are instant once fully validated. Support questions are answered the same day (usually within an hour or less).  First round of verification was done in about 3-4 hours, the second round is 30 days (you have to do a full buy transaction and be a member for at least 30 days).

There's no mumbo-jumbo of having to buy some pre-paid card at 7-11 or dial a red phone at a moneygram location.

I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for an exchange in the US.

I've read that some larger operations have deals with the major exchanges to help liquidate without affecting the price. This true?

Yes, common. Dark Liquidity.

Where/how do you sell your Bitcoin?

It depends on where you live. Since I live in Germany I chose kraken.com. They have a bank account in Germany so SEPA transfers take most times only 1 business day.

I've been involved with Bitcoin since March 2013 and never sold a coin for fiat.  Only the other way.

If I were though, I probably would use Coinbase or CampBX (assuming they are still around)
