wow that digital logger is cheap

I was going to suggest a Ninja Block with remote outlet, but for only one outlet that is more money. But if you were controlling 100 outlets it would be much cheaper.

They're great devices.  I have two of them, the web version linked above and the rackmount version.  Only difference between them is the number of outlets, UPS, and redundant power - their web interface has the same features on the "basic" model.

Ok. I decided to go for a single outlet adapter since I realized I didn't need multiple outlets hooked up right this moment, but I did like the Digital-loggers strip for $129 on Amazon.
This is what I got:
Belkin WeMo Switch.

What's your price range? The ones we use cost around $150 each but work very well. Look up a company named aviosys. Their power strips can restart when they cannot ping an IP address for a certain time and you can monitor power use on each port.
