this is all because, if you have an idea/feature you want in bitcoin. you cannot just make a full node wallet and let it run and promote the community to run it too.
many have tried and the blockstream crew deem it an attack

blockstream deem only core can be the organisation that controls future features of bitcoin. and if you want your feature included in bitcoin this is the process you have to follow:

"People wishing to submit BIPs, first should propose their idea or document to the [email protected] mailing list.
this mailing list is moderated by rusty russell - blockstream employee

"After discussion, please open a PR. After copy-editing and acceptance, it will be published here. [bitcoin BIPS on github]"
this bip listing is moderated by Luke Dashir - blockstream employee

if you want to discuss a feature on the development category of this forum, you will find it is moderated by gmaxwell - blockstream employee

as for the bitcoin code
the total rewrite of satoshi's code of 2009+.. to what became bitcoin core was done mainly by pieter wuille - blockstream employee
(sipa segwit core rewrite)

the ring network between pools (fibre) is managed by a version wrote by Matt Corallo - blockstream employee

the majority of the DNS seeds for the network are monitored by blockstream employees
    seed.bitcoin.sipa.be
    dnsseed.bluematt.me
    dnsseed.bitcoin.dashjr.org

again if anyone was to dare make their own wallet with new features that are not aligned to the blockstream roadmap of 2015, is treated as an attack

this can be seen by how aggressive blockstream employees have been against xt, classic, unlimited, and many other full nodes that go against blockstreams roadmap

and yes i can predict alot of flaming from some who try their damned hardest to pigeon hole me into some altcoin camp.. yet cant deny the proof..

and yes some will try suggesting that matt corrallo and gmaxwell and luke JR are not employed by blockstream, but we all know thy are the founders of blockstream.. its an immutable truth even they cant rewrite

it's pretty simple. bcash's propaganda is put together by people fueled by greed, anger and low IQ scores.

bitcoin propaganda is the rolls royce of psyops. bitcoin has the brains, the money, the belief. you won't even know you're being manipulated it's that good. it helps that bcash is hopelessly amateurish and clunky in comparison but the bitcoin equivalent is subtly out there.

there are talks of secret telegram groups where they coordinate their efforts.

I am a supporter of bitcoin, and maybe I'm biased, but I don't really seen any bitcoin propaganda. As for Roger Ver and bitcoin cash, it really sounds like propaganda to me because all the supposed arguments they use, look like false or incomplete truths. In my opinion, bitcoin has the best developer team, and just for that reason it deserves my support. A project can only be as big as the team behind it, and I think it's safe to say that bitcoin has the largest number of developers behind it, with a lot more github submissions, and are very reputable and well known member in the community, and even bcash supporters don't even try to contest that.

All they do is claiming that bcash is faster and has lower fees, but the difference is not even that huge anymore, and the off-chain path simply looks like the best option for the long run. Bcash will be very centralized in the future, because of the space it will need to run the network if they keep increasing blocksizes, and they will have to do that (they are even talking about 32mb blocksize. How crazy is that.) Second layer solutions are the way to go in my opinion, and they simply make more sense to me. Their argument about what is closer to the "original idea" simply looks stupid to me, and sounds like propaganda.

Well can you point me to any of this "bcore" / "bitcoin legacy" propaganda where they are brainwashing me ? If these claims keep getting made I think now is a fair time to back it up with some evidence.

Exactly that - I think you nailed it: Bitcoin cash proponents are doing exactly that that they accuse Bitcoin of doing: they have a very strong propaganda. Have you seen the claims that Bitcoin is Bitcoin Legacy and Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin? It is exactly that: the omnipresent propaganda of Bitcoin cash proponents.

EDIT - example of such BCash propaganda: https://hackernoon.com/the-truth-about-bitcoin-legacy-btc-that-your-friends-dont-want-you-to-know-17f07f80d463

Hi Forum
First of all I want to state I am a Bitcoin supporter and apologize for bringing up such a possibly sensitive subject for some. I want to ask sincerely that we don't fly off with personal insults at each other for the coin we support here, buy rather a civil discussion and answer around this would be nice since I really just don't "get it".

This post is not meant to argue my point at all, I just want an understanding around this.

Every time the argument around BTC vs BCH comes up I always see the BCH side say "Blockstream has brainwashed everyone and is spreading propaganda attacking us", all kinds of things like that. I see many people on this forum even say I have been brainwashed because I am a BTC supporter and not a BCH supporter.

I got into cryptocurrency in September last year only, owned by first tiny bit of bitcoin around late October. I have personally never seen any of this supposed propaganda from the BTC side. I have never had a microchip implanted in my behind by them to brainwash me. I have never seen this supposed censorship on this forum, maybe just a few people getting a little passionate about their stance, but that's cool Smiley - free speech is a good thing. I personally see people being allowed to state their stances regardless which one they support.
I cant really speak for the Reddit accusations as I don't use it.

It is just always the one after the other BCH supporter saying we have been brainwashed, please give me some evidence of this. I myself work as a network engineer for an ISP. I see bitcoin mostly as a network as a result. To me LN is a very viable way as I can see the potential for what new technologies and innovation it will allow to come forth. The system makes sense to me personally. And yes, to me the only drawback of LN is offline payments. But it'l get figured out I am sure. LN as we have it now surely isn't the end of the evolution.

So, can someone please tell me where I got brainwashed because these claims are made on every Roger Ver interview. Along with all the claims that BTC is spreading propaganda, and that BTC is slow expensive and unreliable - BCH is fast cheap and reliable (which technically = propaganda? Doesn't the word mean that you only present one side of the case?)
From my personal view I see the BCH side doing exactly what they (in my eyes) accuse the BTC team of doing.

Okay, I will leave that above paragraph at that, I am sure you get the point of my argument and my viewpoint. I am not here to start a fight. But can someone please explain this to me ?
The worst I have seen from the BTC side is "BCASH" spam, and that is not propaganda, it is just the internet being the internet - a meme of sorts. Just like we have "hey hey heyyy ... Bitconnect!!!!" now.
