Odd or inevitable?

Inevitable.  There has to be consolidation.  But we probably aren't there yet.  This is likely just a low with a come back yet to appear.  I would think real consolidation is a few months off?

well people are playing the gambling game and most lost. We are at a low in alt coins and if it bounces back and it should assuming no major media witch hunt the price/btc should rise. Weed out the week coins and keep decent ones. The market needs to be consolidated but the asics are here and I am sure their hash rate on top of the bazillion gpus sold since december lead to lots of coins and not many takers. Doge has been kinda stable and two  months ago never thought LTC would be near the top coin. At the very least we can fall back on that.
