I had no idea John was on the run...  Guess this explains the uptick in escrow requests I've been receiving.

Why would it have anything to do with gox? He was only active in jan because Theymos messaged him to return the forums funds. He was gone long before.

Just asking. By the way: Resides the forum actually still on gox servers (like the wiki)?

No, this forum is on its own now.

100 isn't much compared to all the other money he held at one time or another. He also stated he released a few other escrows. Anyone have details on them?

Isn't John K. known for vanishing months at a time, not caring too much about releasing coins in escrow?

I've no idea, but if that was the case then why was he held in such high esteem as a trustworthy escrow?

Last time he (or she?) was active in January. Could it perhaps have something to do with MtGox?

His opening post in this thread sounds like a sock ie fake account fake identity

and since he is talking to Theymos i suggest you ask him exactly who he is,

or any other moderator, what the connection is,

this 1000 BTC now seems like a distraction

making it look like the few real hundred real coins he was holding wasn't much to complain about

if it was lets see some evidence on the blockchain of the transferal of these 1000 coins matching forum dates

Not sure what you're talking about. I assume someone else verified his signed message.

Where is John K?

He is holding 100 BTC in escrow that was due to be paid out 3 months ago.
