There are multiple international exchanges from where you can buy Bitcoins, Localbitcoins is my personal favourite because there is automated escrow system which ensures trusted deals.

I also recently wondered "where to buy bitcoins, so that they do not take a lot of commission from me and everything went safely?".

I came to the conclusion that there is no definite resource for buying bitcoin, and it may be even better to buy
bitcoin through several other currencies. Sometimes it turns out cheaper (for example JPY -> some other currency -> some other currency -> ... -> bitcoin).

Buy on localbitcoins is also based on the seller's rating and on the type of payment.

Seriously?

NOW is the time.
Man, i got sooooooooo much friends and online buddies that were laughing at me back in 2010.
Now guess who's laughing now? Wink

One of the easiest place to start is Coinbase (for newbies)
It is an "online wallet". Get some there to get your feet wet.

Don’t wait for best price Sad some people procrastinate on buying when btc was around 1k because it was not the best price for them, and now they regretted.

For either trading or hodl, just buy. It can go down for some period, but btc will always go up.

Can you at least READ & try to UNDERSTAND the post to make a QUALITY post, instead of this useless garbage you're posting now? What you just posted, was COMPLETELY irrelevant to the current discussion in this thread.

To the OP:

Buying Bitcoins in Japan isn't hard. I'd recommend checking this link out.
https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/japan/

Personally, I use cryptopia for most of my trades, but I sometimes switch to Bittrex, simply because it has a much higher volume, which often means a lower price for buying and a higher price for selling.
Just stay away from Poloniex and the other exchanges that look shit & you should be good.

Trump

Localbitcoins is good. You'll be dealing with real people and they have good escrow service that ensures that you don't lose your money. There is an arbitration service when things go wrong, though I've not had experience of anything going wrong.

Well, the best exchange is where you get trusted service, best rate and user-friendly experience. There are multiple international exchanges from where you can buy Bitcoins, Localbitcoins is my personal favourite because there is automated escrow system which ensures trusted deals.

However, I found about 10 exchanges for Japan to trade Bitcoins. You can read pros, cons and reviews about the same on this link.

I once saw then the price is down and become $3000. But that is only one time.
The best price to buy bitcoin is as low as possible. But it's hard to determine.
You can only buy when the price is down. Because right now the price is going up and down.
When the price is down, you buy it quickly so you can sell it when the price is up.

the only difficult part of this procedure is to have someone who sells these bitcoins when price is down

It depends on where you buy from. If you are in Japan, try localbitcoins. There are many sellers selling at different price. Select the that suits you.

There are many places where you can buy BTC at a good price. It is important that you do not think too long because the price will soon rise again. I would choose Japan for you, but that's just my suggestion.

I don't recommend Kraken because liquidity of BTC/JPY in Kraken is too much small.

Agreed Kraken is good if you live in Europe, but would not recommend if not.  Try and find a local exchange, how about going to a crypto meetup and asking people what they use?

For me buying in places you are not sure of like in Japan is a bit risky. You might end up being scammed. So, the most safest way probably is to purchase bitcoins online. That’s my opinion.

It all depends on you. Where you live, what options do you have, etc. If you can only buy with cc, I'd recommend coinbase, if that's available. If you have cash on hand, I'd recommend localbitcoins.com or even private seller groups if they're trustworthy.

So far I thought Kraken was a very good choice but I have heard so many opinions from people that I do not know what I would choose. I guess you should be convinced, I know it's difficult but not always the opinions of people are true.

There are actually many places to buy bitcoin but the best thing is to buy them on secure websites or reliable people. I try to buy in localbitcoins because it is a very safe and you can buy with many ways of payment. in this website you can also sell your bitcoins instantaneously and you can also choose your favorite buyer or seller.
You can also try buying at coinbase, but it is banned on some countries, so if you are from the US you are not going to be able to buy in there.

different exchanges have different prices.. you'd need to scan every single exchange in the world to find the cheapest currecy. My reccomendation: always choose the exchange with the highest trading volume. This will ensure liquidity and therefore a tight ask/speard fee. You might find a cheap buy in Japan as you mentioned, but if the exchange charges insane fees, then the difference might be even bigger than buying it from the original exchange
We will choose fees as well as exchanges.
thank you.

Localbitcoin is the best place to buy Bitcoin

Be careful, it depends on who you're engaging in the deal with. But this does give you the most control to negotiate and accept the offer that you believe is best.

I've had good experience with Coinbase.

If you have the money then go to localbitcoin and get it .

I'm curious why you say this? Are you assuming that denominations available vial localbitcoin.com is whole Bitcoins only?

The best time to buy bitcoin was in 2013 when it was worth few cents. Probably you missed it. If you are looking for a long term hold, then there is no good time, buy it now itself and profit is guaranteed. If you are looking fshort term profits then wait for small dips, not sure whether it would happen or not as BTC gained stability now. My personal opinion is to buy it soon after October 15th, a small dip may happen then, not sure though.

The best price is, when it goes down a little, but there is no real best price.
I buyed a "Bitcoinbon", which is oly available in austria at the moment and look at their homepage for the actual price.
If the price goes down again, I will change the bon to BTC.

Actually it goes up again. The deep price few days ago and I think it will be going up only in the next days weeks.
Maybe at the monthend, when chinese Exchanges closing or some other negative finance article comes up it will come a cheaper price.

My last visit in Tokyo was month ago. But I think they have some exchange stations there.
I would recommend buying a Bon like from Bitcoinbon and then change, if you see a price which is ok for you.
At Bitcoinbon you have a value bon in EUR and see the exchange price which will be used when changing.
Means no risk for fluctuations of price.

But everything depends on your funds, just look through all variants and choose the most comfortable for you.

OP stated that he/she is from Japan. Coinbase currently doesn't buy and sell to Japan.

To OP, try out bitflyer. I've been reading alot of good things about that site on Reddit in the past. Also, that site currently has the highest bitcoin trading volume(3.44%) in japan.
