Why do people always ask the same questions, they don't stop think about it and it is a pretty stupid thing to think. Bitcoin is different to gold, government won't risk losing their reserves to the volatility of the bitcoin market plus it won't be so easy to steal gold from their vaults compared to bitcoin.

I think there is still a big difference between Bitcoin and gold. Like diamonds, gold is actually useless (of course not at all) but rare items (of course, the actual price difference between the two is quite large). However, btc and gold are not the same, btc may be more expensive and has a higher price than gold, more people may shift from gold to btc for quick gains, but gold will always remain gold and can never be replaced.
