To make a reputation. In the bitcoin world, everything is about reputation.
And also, if you buy btc with paypal, you can end up with 10 or 15% fees (check the website that allows it...).


So, it could be still cheaper.

Yep... but in the first case... why to bother? and in the second why loose money?

You can always send as a gift by paypal. From your paypal balance, it will be free of charge (you send 5$, the other guy will receive 5$).

I have found a bunch of offers on bitmit of people selling paypal credit with no fees, ie. 5$ -> 5$ (https://www.bitmit.net/es/item/61823-5-to-your-paypal-with-no-fees-through-bitcoin-escrow) or even at a loss (https://www.bitmit.net/es/item/61883-ilost-5-paypal-deposit-no-fees). My first thought was it is scam, of course. Nevertheless some sellers have an impressive record of positive votes. Could anybody enlighten me about what is going on?  Where is the trick?  Huh Huh Huh
