Alrighty, I have found a Bitcoin Gold airdrop on Waves (NOT Bitcoin Gold) and I have found Bitcoin Gold on Ethereum as a token (also NOT Bitcoin Gold) and I cannot find any information on the official Bitcoin Gold website. So . . .  Is there really a Bitcoin Gold airdrop???

So far it looks like it does not exist!!! Anyone know where it is?? Thanks in advance!!

I don't have bitcoin on bitfinex, but I've seen people commenting that this exchange gave users who has bitcoin free bitcoin gold already. Yet I am also surprised by the fact that btcgold is not even on coinmarketcap. However, I guess you can claim your btcgold on bittrex as well. Nevertheless, there's a lot of advice to stay away from this shady fork with no official supporters, code consensus and guarantees. There is not enough information on this currency to see whether it's safe to use yet. What's also not among its advantages is the fact of 100 000 coins being pre-mined!

AFAIK, there is no airdrop for bitcoingold as it is not a premined coin. It's just starting with forking the available bitcoin blockchain and hence adding same amount of bitcoingold as bitcoin in the market (which the holders are eligible to claim.)

It's not an airdrop, it's a chain split. It happens automatically - whatever you have in your BTC wallet, you get the same amount of bitcoin gold. The snapshot happened yesterday, so the "airdrop" is already done.

Hello. Bye.
Its only imitate coins. Not real, it doesn't exist. The airdrop happened yesterday you got 1 BTG for every BTC you have but other than that no other airdrop.

Yeah.  The real Bitcoin Gold is not an airdrop.  You'll get Bitcoin gold at a 1:1 ratio based on how much BTC you held through the fork.

Exactly, and the fork hasn't happened yet, right. There was just the snapshot?

Why should there be an Airdrop? As far as I understand you got as much BCG as you have BTC.

I read rumors that there was going to be a huge airdrop. Maybe the airdrop was in reference to the fork, but that would not be the proper usage of the term airdrop. From what I have researched, a BGold airdrop does not exist.
