Yes Canaan only makes BTC miners.
re altcoins: There is a separate area in the Forum for that - discussion of alts is not allowed in this area.
Blokforge has been in business many years and are Authorized distributors for Canaan. I have bought many many miners from them since 2017 and their customer service is excellent.

Biggest advantage to Canaan's miners is that for the most part they just-do-not-break unlike those from esp. Bitmain.

thanks! Seems Cannan only have BTC right? ETH sounds more promising in matter of profits.

By the way, is blokforge safe? Majority of the websites I found selling ASICs with BTC payments were frauds actually... one showing even on the Google Recommendations hahaha

few days after reported it vanished... anyway... I have a feeling that those companies, or at least majority of the companies building those hardware don't give a damn for single customers like me... looks like they only sell in bulk, and on backstage. Makes me sad, not because of me but because it goes against the decentralization goal right? Only "mining farms" will mine and control the flow, etc etc

Cannan has their A12's in production and yes they are available with monthly delivery of batches from now until at least Sept. Prices are a sliding scale depending on how fast you want them.

If you are in the US check blokforge for them.

Greetings!! =)

I'm a crypto enthusiast for ages... always playing here and there and recently I decided, I want to buy a ASIC to mine properly things!

So I started to check... Ant... innosilicon etc and guess what? Its impossible to buy any of their products! Its always, and I mean literally always, out of stock... plus, if you go to innosilicon for instance, in theory they should have release one new ASIC in Jan, you can see it to buy in other websites but on the own manufactory website the product doesn't even exist! For instance, Innosilicon A10 Pro+ 7GB.

So, what kind of craziness is that?! haha

Where do I run to? miners.eu seems to have it, but there the price is out of reality, should be 4k on the official website and jumps to 15k there haha

any tips? Smiley

cheers!
