Hi All,

I'd like to offer a new website where you can buy BitCoins.
We have launched this service recently after long experience selling BTC's via LocalBitCoins - https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/PayBis/

So check out - PayBis.com

Someone was asking about Okpay, we offer Okpay->BitCoins in automated way.

Regards,
PayBis team.

www.btc-e.com is good enough.

Not lately they're not. There's an increasing number of complaints, people loosing wire transfers and having problems with locked accounts.
The other day when the site was down, i even thought that we have another mt.gox scenario.

@op If you do decide for them (actually regardless) exchange and instant withdraw, don't hold your coins on any site.

cheers

i think coinbase is the easiest way for someone from the US to get $$ into bitcoin. it's not where i would trade, but it's easier than wiring money to exchanges. also, localbitcoins.

I started out with Coinbase, and was happy with their service.

Now, I use Circle because they are usually a day faster with both deposits and withdrawals.

Good luck and welcome to the Bitcoin community

You can buy bitcoins from either exchanges, or directly from other people selling them. You can pay for them in a variety of ways, ranging from hard cash to credit/debit cards to wire transfers, or even with other cryptocurrencies, depending on who you are buying them from and where you live. It's still not easy to buy bitcoins with your credit card or PayPal. This is because such transactions can easily be reversed with a phone call to the card company. Since it's hard to prove any goods changed hands in a transfer of bitcoins, exchanges avoid this payment method and so do most private sellers.  Smiley SmileyBTC Good luck in the bitcoin world.

Buy cheapest Bitcoin is in an Exchange, but if you buy bitcoin in Coinbase such exchanger, it needs more extra charges.

Overall, buy bitcoins to Bitstamp in Europe, to LakeBTC in north American or China, buy altcoin to BTC-e no matter where you are.

Coibase + Localbitcoins as mentioned above, also:

Bitstamp.net

Cryptsy.com
go to the exchange section of this forum, or go to localbitcoins.com

you need to do some reading, cause most of your questions are already answered.

I also recommend LBC. But only for face to face trades, IMO they are much safer.

LBC is the most decentralized of all the exchanges and the trades are done on a peer to peer level

Just make it super simple for yourself, if you cant find a bitcoin ATM near you. Which most wont, always do transactions w. escrow on localbitcoins.com enable it and do a cash in hand or cash deposit.

Which I find it very easy to do, and build a relationship with the seller. If you are a frequent buyer with large amounts, who knows they might break a deal lol.

try to find your countrys topic, and post there, there will

definetly be someone looking to sell. this way also increases anonimity of bitcoin, i started to hate exchanges because the money can be seen going in and out of my bank account.

lets just say that i dont like  anyone knowing that.

All comments containing "If you are from the USA, try coinbase" are just as valid for EU. I recieved a mail with the info that EU is supported now. I just did a SEPA from coinbase to my bank and its real nice that they keep improving like this.

Coinbase or localbitcoin are two places I would suggest you check out if you are looking to buy bitcoins. I would be very careful though when you choose to make a deal, ensure you can trust the person you are dealing with and if in any kind of doubt don't trade.
