Where to buy Coins not listed on exchange yet, or tokens of recent ICOs ?

I saw some OTC buy/sell threads, but there is only a couple of them, and I would like to diversify

Would you know where to find them ?
or any people on the forum that mine those coins and sell them ?

any advice appreciated ! thx

most of coins go to multiple exchange sites or atleast one exchange site after the ico. If you still can't find one, check out the "currency exchange" in marketplace thread.

If this token is an ERC20 token, you can buy it on the IDEX exchange when these tokens are unlocked.
Sometimes it is possible to buy cheaper tokens at the IDEX exchange.

if a certain coin is not yet listed on any exchanges but the ico is done, because you said is recent ICOs, then the only way is to buy to another person, p2p transaction is the only way.

Big part of ICOs are getting listed in exchanges like Etherdelta. Tokens are getting listed there way faster then coinmarketcap. Currently this exchange is not working but there is a Foredelta that forked from ED and it works fine. The greatest thing about it is that sometimes weak hands are droping their tokens and it may be possible to buy some decent tokens even below the ICO price!

You don't have to wait anything to be listed on ForkDelta. Any Ethereum-based token can be imported as a custom token and start trading, just as it was possible on EtherDelta and some other decentralized exchanges.
BTW, CoinMarketCap isn't an exchange, it is just a resource that helps you find coin prices and where to trade specific crypto pairs.

ICO's are mainly sold on their own site. If you looking for tokens not listed you should check decentralized trading sites like Etherdelta which used for tokens of ethereum blockchain

You don't need an exchange to trade, but it makes it much more easier. It's always possible to buy from people that already have the coin you're looking for, but to find someone can be hard, especially when there is less demand. But PoW (proof-of-work) coins can be earned by mining, where you trade your computing on-time for coins.

Bear season or just the beginning
Try livecoin.net, I saw some tokens/coins that are not listed in some site that are already there. And you can also try sending a pm to those signature campaign OP's where you could find the tokens too.

Before investing you need to be clear about the project. If you have plans of investing then you could find it through the concern website provided for the ICO. After presale in a short it'll be listed to the exchanges and from that you can predict whether the growth is going good or not

Logically, you can't I believe because most of the time, as soon as the team start distributing the tokens after the ICO, they get listed on exchanges. If they don't get listed, It only means that the project is not that good and you shouldn't really consider investing.

The only place to buy coins that are not yet listed on an exchange would be to look in the Altcoin Marketplace. There really won't be many people looking to trade newer coins because there probably aren't many people using them yet.

If you see some people in a signature campaign for a coin you are looking at getting, try sending them a PM. Or possibly send a PM to the creator of the coin/visit their site and see if there are other ways of getting those coins.

Alternatively, if the coin is very new and you have a "gaming computer" with a good graphics card, it might be possible for you to mine some and get some throughout the day. You likely wouldn't get many though so keep in mind Smiley
