And if by cheapest, it would mean buying with the cheapest fee possible instead of the cheapest BTC price ? On Coinbase, there is a 20€ fee on a 500€ buy for ETH/BTC for example, it's quite expensive. Do you guys know any other way to buy with EUR/USD and with lower fees ?

I think Localbitcoin is the safest way for buy BTC.

The OP is asking for the cheapest method.

But yeah, localbitcoins is a great place to start. As for the whole buying cheap bitcoins part, there is no such thing.

You pay for fees or you dont lol.
But when we are dealing with localbitcoin seller in person, then there is no need of paying any exchange fees. This must be one of the practical way to get cheapest bitcoins. But usually localbitcoin sellers are quoting higher prices for their bitcoins than market rate.
The exchange fees will be covered with your travel expenses to meet a seller via localbitcoin. Unless you are dealing for very big amount of bitcoin. But very big amount of bitcoin dealing not possible in person-to-person dealing usually.

There is no real website where you can buy the cheapest one, I think they are mostly all the same with their fee's and selling price.
There are only sometimes a bit cheaper but this compared with others is mostly not worth it.
Yes bitcoin will never come for cheaper price.
But we might search for very less transaction fees charging provider when buying bitcoins. This must be a the only possible way to buy bitcoins for comparatively cheaper price.

Some people are paying a higher fees in FOREX exchanges from their local currency to USD/EURO conversion. When they are going with localbitcoin seller, they will be able to buy for cheaper prices.
But when you are getting as an established trader with most of the exchanges, you will be getting reduced trading fees. You can comparatively buy or sell bitcoin with the very less fees.

To buy cheap bitcoins is to wait patiently for a slight drop in the market and buy it.  Otherwise someone would offer to sell you their bitcoin for a lower value than the current, which is rare but it do happens for regular traders who wants to maintain a good and continues trading relationship but not much on quantity.  Now the purpose of investing is to grow.  some traders hoard btc's for quite sometimes that's why they can sell it lower than the current value because they bought it before in a much lower value and that is just to maintain a trading partnership.  If you are new in this industry it is hard to find someone like that.

Those odds of waiting could been used more better by just focusing to sell something you have into the market.

Keep in mind that things in the market should stay relevant showing demand and not outdated stuff.

what do you think about buying cheapest btc.i want to become trader but i dont have idea where to buy and sell.
first i want to say selling btc is ok if i have btc.but if i want to buy and sell, then first tell me where to buy so that i could sell for profit.

i think there is a site that shows price of bitcoin in many different exchange sites, but i am not sure if it still works to this day,  maybe it is closed now, but it would be good for you to use

and if not then just check different sites and buy from one that sells them for smallest price, also you cna check people that sells bitcoins as they might have some cheaper bitcoins too

LOL you waited 1 hour and decided it was ok to start scolding.. Your patience is remarkable.

With fiat localbitcoins is ok, it's a bit expensive though.

If you are familiar with payeer etc, BTC-E is the place to get your bitcoins. Their price is mostly a litle bit lower then other exhanges.
See here:
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets
this is not the place of getting your cheapest bitcoin how can you think bitcoins can be cheap. Dont you know the price of one bitcoin do not post anything on this forum tho. Get first some information before you want to buy the cheapest coin XD

I think Localbitcoin is the safest way for buy BTC.

Yes the localbitcoins has probably the cheapest rate as far as i know.  This is where you can even buy bulks of btc without trading hassle.  You can even witness the process scam is way far behind when you transact with the trader having an actual trade deals you can even ask for a lower value.
LC is no more a reliable website and they have too many scammers trading there (even users with 100% feedback have turned scammers). Also the rates there are similar to Virwox that has more trust than LBC.

Scam involved in localbitcoins happens when you don't do the process personally and your having bulk tradings to an individual and on the net.  Even how much you trust a trading individual never trade bulk unless that trader is dong trades for a trading company or institution.  That's why most huge trades of btc are done in localbitcoin that are organized and legitimate licensed to do trading from a govt agency.  Check your lbc status always by visiting their office and not their house.

You should try igot

http://igot.com

That is the best exchange both to buy and sell in various currencies.

Are they a reliable source to buy from? I wouldn't use them to hold my bitcoins though not even on any exchanges are safe nowadays as from what I have been seeing as of late.

There are all kind of websites, and its all about the fee's I love coin base but its all depending on what website you like they are almost all the same to be honest.
The most are also trusted, you of course have to check this all time.

Indeed there is not a very good website that offers the lowest price for them they are all the same in my eyes and because of that its just what kind you like and your opinion, some are slow or not very trusted.

Though not the cheapest, someone either near you or online from localbitcoins.com should be able to help you.

I've used this guy before: https://localbitcoins.com/ad/315497/purchase-bitcoin-cash-deposit-bank-of-america-instant-release-right-now-united-states.  If the ad isn't running, just open another one of his ads, cancel the trade, and start a dialogue with him.  He's good, he is fair, and he is honest.  (Okay he's me Grin)

Actually a more convenient link for those who apply: https://localbitcoins.com/ad/325144/cash-out-your-bitcoins-boa-to-boa-online-trade-using-computer-or-phone

I just did a $150 trade with someone Smiley

Insulting us won't change anything , so calm down dude .
If you want to start trading then you need first to start buying bitcoins , there is a lot of exchange out there for that : BTC-E , Bitstamp , Coinbase , Huobi (Chinese) , OKCoin (Chinese) , Bit-x etc ...
Unless you are good at trading , I don't recommend this because you may lose instead of profiting if you don't know what you are doing .
thankyou dude for the information, noted. ill start trading if i have enough capital.  Roll Eyes

My place only have 1 local exchanger (https://www.bitcoin.co.id/) so it's easier for me to comparing the cheapest bitcoin I can convert
But every country have different rate with variable rate so it can't be compare whose are cheapest one

Its better to ignore the cheap price scenario.

I rather be safe and have a successful bitcoin trasnaction even though I paid in cash instead of trying these new exchanges out.

we all prefer safety over a little price difference.
i don't know what sukamasoto introduced , but sometimes in some countries if you want to buy with fiat you have to only use the only 2-3 places there are which most of the time are terrible services too. but sadly we have no choice.

Hi all. We have only 0.2% trade commission and keep Deposit/Withdrawal fees low (https://bitok.com/fees). Buying BTC through Bitok.com is cost-effective. Still we're concerned about security and do a lot to deliver great quality of customer service.

If the fees are so low.

I dont get how you guys will stay afloat, just from a business point of view. Which would worry me more since if I brought my btc over there to trade.. and go rogue.
I'm just a little confused. Although they did advertise themselves where we can trade, they mentioned about their concern about their own business. It's great that they are being honest but I don't think it's just the right time to use them since they are concerned themselves. Unless someone's willing to take risks.

but i don't think that you would win a lot of money, maybe dollar or two only, so you should buy from most trustfull site

just check different exchange sites/bitcoin sellers and find for cheapest one, but they will usually have same price so you might win around 1$ total, that's not a big deal

if you want to buy bitcoins now for halving when you should do that fast as possible because price rises now so later you won't find cheap bitcoins as today

i dont think you will get the cheapest bitcoin price,in some exchange just have small margin with other exchange, and the only way to get cheaper or cheapest bitcoin price, its with bid it from people.

Exactly!  If you post enough ads and do enough marketing and get the word out that you want to buy below exchange rates, you will eventually find people.  You will still need an exchange for the times that your demand outweighs your supplies.

With your attitude you're not likely to cajole anyone into selling you cheap bitcoins.  Best if you try services like Circle where you can just get them at market value.  Don't whine in the world of finance; it will eat you alive and spit out your bones like a MK fatality.

But I'm not kidding:  Circle is really good.  Coinbase isn't bad either but they have a tendency to close accounts at the drop of a dime.

A definition of Cheapest for an exchange from any  single base currency A - e.g Yen - to a stock currency B - e.g Bitcoin - it may depend on - primarily - the (1) exchange rate for the (A,B) currency pair at (2) the broker, trading house, or other institution where one is proposing to conduct the exchange. Of course, the market exchange rate may shift over time, for any single currency pair in any single exchange market. Ideally, the trading house with the highest A*B rate would offer, in a sense, the cheapest alternative for purchasing more Bitcoin from currency A.

Buy from individuals who have small fractions of bitcoin. You can always negotiate price when buying in small fractions with individual who has small quantity rather than with someone who has lots of bitcoins

Cheapest BTC you can get directly from BTC mining pools - negotiate the price and that's all.  Wink

I don't think that'll work. You have got large number of bitcoin exchanges, just go through it and find which has the cheapest prices. Buy from that particular exchange.

The bitcoin price is not the same on different exchanges, if you can find anyone localy then it would be better otherwise i would prefer bitok or kraken

Thanks for the recommendation. We're constantly increasing liquidity on our exchange. Have two trading interfaces for different needs:
1) Quick exchange: https://bitok.com/instant
2) To buy and sell through orders: https://bitok.com/trades/btc_usd

Will be happy to see all of you on our exchange. At least, it worth checking the current quotes https://bitok.com/

Wow people here were still helpful after the"" fuck You response"". I guess this wannabe Boiler room trader has a lot to learn about people skills. I have learned politeness goes a long way and people are real helpful on this forum so ask nicely.

Some people...

Ignoring them is the best you can do. Most people still answer though since other people can learn from their reply's.

Ontopic.
I would go for coinbase, their fees are good and so is their reputation.
No where it is found cheap. Every seller has a value which will be in some difference to the standard value of the bitcoin. So planning to buy bitcoin just contact sellers with different value and then proceed with seller that has higher value and Convenience of transaction.

buy a few on dips.

then sell when it goes back up. But be prepared to hold if for some reason it drops more. I am long bitcoin long
term so if I buy on a dip I dont mind if it dips more.

I think the current dip is the time to buy some bitcoins. The price will rise in the future. There will be dips as well.

I think actually the cheapest place to buy BTC is on BTC-E but it can not be true depending of your deposit method, some methods have a reasonable fees but others are directly a crazy thing. for example deposit by wire transfer is in range 15-20 usd, but deposit with visa have a 6% fee

There are many exchanges: coinbase, xapo, bittfinex... and prices vary. One day the cheapest one may be the first, others the second, and other can be another exchange not in the list. You have to check that up.

There was a exchange (btc-e?) that offered a list of prices in other exchanges.

Buying with perfect money in bitcoin exchange and selling them locally via localbitcoins as people find it difficult to move local currency to bitcoin like here. Lots of people are already doing this as you can sell 10-20%+ price in there if you get lots of interested local buyers.

Firstly there is no such thing like cheapest bitcoin that can be bought.
Almost all exchanges sell bitcoin at the standard rates like we find on preev site. And not just the rate, even the exchange fees adds up too. Please note bitcoin is nothing but money. Money can not be availed for cheaper price.
The better option is to buy from individuals who have smaller quantities. If someone has say 0.03 btc and he wants to sell them,he would prefer to sell to individuals like you instead of exchanges so you can bargain with him and get the lower price than prevailing market rates

May be try localbitcoins for buying at low (you might have to bargain) and do deal with some green rep. peoples. Smiley

And you need more patience for the answers.

In the UK at this point in time, the best and cheapest way is generally through p2p exchanges such as Bitbargain or Localbitcoins.
There is a new site up called Bittylicious but they averaging around 8% above gox and you can get for around 2-4% on these two platforms above.

The price at localbitcoins is usually 5% more than buying from exchanges. But it is more convenient.

On local bitcoins generally you will be paying about a tenner over market value but you can put up ads to buy for less of a percentage, so far ive had an add up for a good while and never had anyone actually offer to sell to me under the normal rate. If anyone knows of somewhere where you can actually buy market spot value then id also be interested. Since localbitcoins has the option but its unlikely that anyone will actuall sell.

maybe if i had more feedback on lbc i would have more luck but im unsure how much you would actually need before getting decent prices.
