Plenty of Antminer S1's for sale right here in the forum from trusted members:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0

I think if you search _Lenny, he's a hero member selling an Ant S1 for like $186 or 0.418 BTC.

thanks

Why don't you buy from bitmain directly?
I most likely will, they are great value.

I guess I was just looking for someone cleaning out the closet as mentioned above. Miners hold value as long as they can roi and with low to no power cost I'm looking to roi within ~30 days.
Thanks for everyone's input and to those who pm'd. Will make my decision this week and let you all know how I go.

I know bitmain are pretty cheap now but does anyone know where there may be second hand antminer s1's other than eBay. Lots for sale on eBay but $300-400 is ridiculous considering they are only $200 new.

It's not ridiculous because eBay charges 13% to sellers who in turn had to buy those AntMiners from Bitmain for BTC with an additional 1% exchange fee.  You will never find a discount deal on ebay unless you are buying from a guy that just cleaned out his closet and is getting rid of junk.  Also, I think you are thinking about miner pricing the wrong way.  Being "used" does not in any way decrease the value of the hardware assuming it is in good working order.  Miner prices are dictated by the value of the BTC they are predicted to mine over their useful lifetime.

Amazon has them, Minersource has them, Microcenter has them, plenty of other legitimate sources. I don't understand why people can't look past EVILBAY.

Microcenter sells ants? Didn't know that.
Yep, they have Gridseed's 5 chip as well
Thanks, will take a look next time I go there.

Amazon usually don't support shipping to Australia. Bitmain include shipping and are very good value. I was wondering if anyone was wanting to clear any that have already roi'ed and are just not feasible with power costs. I don't pay for power right now and hoping to squeeze some BTC out of them before they become completely useless.

well you can try to buy it from someone on this forum. Isn't?

Just make your final offer ($$) or search for someone who is selling S1 atm.

I cannot find anyone who is selling right now.

But I suggest to make a thread here : " Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Goods "

and make your offer.
