I'm a person who wants to pick up trading again,I've tried to trade in the past and gave up due to not having enough time. Now I do have the time to learn and develop strategies, what are some books or resources I can take a look at to learn how to trade and how to develop my own strategy?

So far there is no book in the outlet bookstore that selling about in bitcoin trading. Well, anyway if you really want to make earn in trading which is bitcoin you must exert an effort into it for you to find out the proper way of how to trade.

There may be no book that can teach how to trade but there are many videos available on youtube that can really help in learning the process of trading and its not something that you can gain expertise overnight, you need to invest lot of time in learning it so that slowly and steadily you can become a better trader.

I would suggest just trying different strategies to find what works for you. I make small trades with smaller profit from each trade. It seems to work fine for me.

OP should just hang around this forum for like a month or two especially in the Trading and Altcoin sections. He will learn a lot.
You are right, there are a lot of useful discussion about bitcoin trading more particularly all type of trading. Still, I believe there are a lot of resources are available on Google, just spending time to find out the right one will be helpful to anyone who is keen on becoming a versatile trader. But, to become successful in trading we must need more practical than simply studying.

. The key to effective trading is to choose quality over quantity. Not every type of market condition will be conducive to your strategy. Swing trading works best during strong trends, whereas automated scalping tends to be more effective when the markets are stable.

To find quality trades you must first determine what trading style works best for you, as well as identify the right market conditions.

So far in my country I don't see any books in the mall outlet that the topic is  about in trading particularly in bitcoin. The only thing I know  as a newbie in trading bitcoin is you need to be observant or proceed in the bitcointalk.org  then go to the trading discussion but sign up first in that forum site before you involve in the discussion.

If you want to have a basic understanding of trading and acquire basic skills, then babypips is good for you. I tried it and the tutorial is easy and can be learned by beginners with zero understanding about forex.

I am pretty sure you can find these courses in your city, and they might even be free (at least some of them). If you know english well, you can also look for online free courses. However, the best choice is going at a real course where you can ask questions and stuff.
offline trading course which is free will sometimes take advantage of their watchers by reffering them as the teacher's refferal so they can make profit from it even though it's not wrong, they have taught you what you need, making you as their refferal is not a problem, but sometimes people are stingy even for refferal you know  Grin

You can find tutorial videos in Youtube for bitcoin trading. Check the best video among that and view it. Primarily you can start your trading from localbitcoins.com. there you can easily start with low fund as well. Your funds are hold by escrow.I think this best place you can start trade there.

I think trading sources might learn you basic rules in trading, but those sources won't make you successful trader, you should depend on your own views and notes, whereas success in trading comes from the experience and the long term practicing.

If you just google you can find several helpful results few of them includes
http://www.libra.tech/blog/the-beginners-guide-to-bitcoin-trading/
http://www.forexnews.com/bitcoin-trading/
https://www.weusecoins.com/bitcoin-trading/
https://blog.cex.io/trading-tips/beginners-guide-trading-13047

Other than this you can search about few terms related to general trading which is also useful in bitcoin trading like margin trading, long/short position,  common trading chart types etc. Don't go with any guide or strategy completely as they can't guarantee you profit, there is nothing like working strategy for bitcoin trading, simple rule is buy low sell high and don't go with troll.

All I know is that I know nothing.
in my experience from what i have seen most of these books about how to become such and such thing are mostly some general outlines with some big worlds and after reading it cover to cover you get the feeling you know everything but when you try it in actual world you realize you never learnt anything from those books.

that is why i suggest learning on your own or finding a mentor if you could.

Like people said google is the best teacher for you.
However you can learning and practice what you've learned by open a demo account maybe in etoro or try sparkprofit it's kind of game where you have to predict that the price will down or up, Just my suggestion.

Actually, everyone has their respective strategies and may not be everyone has the same trading strategy. Maybe if I may make a suggestion to you, better go to gambling sites and give it directly. Trying trade but by a small amount it would be good. Because it can minimize the risk of loss. Or now many commerce sites are using the demo so we could try to trade without getting a loss, it's a safe way in my opinion. Learning to trade is not just a theory, but it is better if the direct practice. I hope you succeed in trading, friend Wink

So you are engaged in the trading before and you mentioned that you already have your own strategy and just wanting to develop it. So I will assume you already know some trading basics and how to start trades.

The most wiser way is to do actual trades on "regular" basis. You will improve more of yourself if you engage in the live action of trading and to build trading experience as well. But of course while putting yourself in an actual trade, you must point with the factors before making such decision. Where to get those factors? Depends on what asset you will do a trade. Speculations, news, others technical analysis are some of the common factors that a traders looks into before doing such move.

In my opinion, you should start with small amounts and frequent trades. Make sure you are not falling for the buy calls in shoutbox or anywhere else. Do your own research before placing any order. The best method to develop your own working trading strategy is trial and error. You can also take the help of fundamental and technical analysis. I am with the opinion that technical analysis works best for traders whereas fundamental is for long term investors.

Its a  good thing that you will  engage to trading again and  you  do  have already time  to  put  into it. Actually there are  lots of  tutorials and   guides  over the internet  regarding  on  trading . If you choose  on  bitcoin trading  then its still there  and   also  on forex trading.  If you  like to  develop  your trading skills  then  you should  try demo accounts on trading and  read some  good  guidelines  and  useful tools  used  on  trading.
