I never learned anything from claiming a faucet, I don't know why a lot of people consider this as a "learning experience" when you are just stuck here claiming something on a long period of time just to reach their faucet's threshold. For me this misconception is only brought by people who owns a faucet list in order to motivate newbies to claim under their referrals. If you really want to learn something about cryptocurrencies this forum can teach you more compared to claiming faucets as all the topics you are curious about can always be found here and if not you can ask them yourself.

You can follow any good the history books youtube channel to learn about cryptocurrency or you can go through any of the free online cryptocurrency course where an expert trader will guide you about each term of crypto, things you should take care of before investing into crypto etc. However, you should also learn about normal currencies and macroeconomics. From the gold standard till now. This should give you a very good understanding of the problems and benefits of the cryptocurrency.

I know you’ve added the source to the content of the OP, but just copying and pasting the content and adding the source, as if it were some sort of retweet, is not my cup of tea. Unless it is something vital and time sensitive, I find it much more sensible, and possibly meritable, to grasp the essence of the article, summarize it in your own words, and add you personal view on the matter at hand.

Of course, that may just be me.

4.) Faucets
Faucets were created for 2 reasons: Making everybody money, and by helping newbies learn about cryptocurrency. It was used to spread awareness to the marketplace.

Faucets were profitable a couple of years ago, but now with increasing number of scam websites it's a risk.
Also an enthusiast should not need extra incentives to read more about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

The possibilities are endless in this network. And there are ways to earn which is more rewarding, as long as you can get the background knowledge.

Most people, when they hear Bitcoin, they respond 2 ways: "What's that ?" and "It's a bubble".

People consider Bitcoin as a bubble, if they are introduced to the profit aspect first, and not the actual product and vision of bitcoin. The right kind of orientation would make people aware of the different ways we all acn profit from this network
And i agree, books, and online contents are very useful tools to learn more about bitcoin.

Bitcoin is quite hard to grasp if you don't have a bit of a techy background.

Except you intend to get into the highly technical aspects of bitcoin, then all you need is an idea of how it works. And this can be acquired through following discussions on forums such as these and reading helpful content.

else or if it did then wait for the ban.
Did you even read the whole thread, the idea wasn't OP's,but be did well to direct and indicate to us the source of his information

The topics touched upon are random advices really and isn't anything too interesting,we all know how wonderful the internet is and know we can all learn through it, anyone who doesn't go through that means definitely is indifferent about the bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, and definitely they sure are entitled to their very opinion

You also should have included bitcointalk on the list as your own contribution to the  "article" cos to me it's the most user friendly environment to learn about cryptocurrencies

Good one OP. It has been a while that a newbie posted a good thread in this section. Keep it up and you will get what you want because you are doing fine. I know that it is hard to get merit and this post is for merit. However, if you will not get now continue to do a post like this one for sure you will have merits one day and that if you have not copied and pasted this posts somewhere else or if it did then wait for the ban.

I'm reading the book Don Tapscott, Alex Tapscott. Blockchain Revolution: Changing Money, Business, and the World. In his book, Tapscott studies the basic terms and concepts of cryptosystems and cryptocurrencies. He focuses on the blockchain platform

In the book Melanie Swan. Blockchain: Blueprint for a New Economy. In this book you can find answers to questions such as basic concepts from the industry of cryptocurrency and cryptosystems, functions and functionality of a block chain.

Read these interesting books.

Education is very important. If it wasn't for education, you currently would't have been reading this, or even experience the internet ! Without education, you won't see any value in anything either.
Most people, when they hear Bitcoin, they respond 2 ways: "What's that ?" and "It's a bubble". The first reaction is someone who needs education about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and the other reaction is POSSIBLY lacking knowledge of how speculation was created on Bitcoin.
In order for cryptocurrency to succeed and be the currency of the people, the people need to know how it works. Here I have listed the best ways to learn about Bitcoin and how cryptocurrency works:

1.) Books
The power of books is very underestimated. That's how people educated themselves about different topics before the internet existed. Here is my personal recommendation for the best cryptocurrency book on Amazon:
Cryptoassets: The Innovative Investor's Guide to Bitcoin and Beyond - /2VcIyKC]https://[Suspicious link removed]/2VcIyKC

2.) Cryptocurrency News Websites
Places like Bitcoin.com inform you about Bitcoin and give you unbiased news about what's currently going on in the crypto markets

3.) Reddit
When it comes to learning about the cryptocurrency community, you can learn a lot from other people investing in them. There's a culture of cryptocurrency "HODLers" and they can give you any information and advice from anything you may ask.

4.) Faucets
Faucets were created for 2 reasons: Making everybody money, and by helping newbies learn about cryptocurrency. It was used to spread awareness to the marketplace.
