Yup, account trading is actually allowed on this forum. You can sell your account "legally"
The forum moderator already said that it is legal but when the community comes in, it is a different case. Since the community which is mostly the users don't encourage this kind of business since the account can be use for fraud, scam and other scheme. And maybe one day you can also be a victim of your own action.
If you have multiple accounts, and the mods have linked them, then selling one could devalue all of the others. It could also damage your reputation.
That's why sellers need to disclose the name of the account their selling by using the bctpricer site which estimates the price of a certain account depending on it's trust history and post quality and its rank and it provide those without telling anyone the real name of the account. By the way, from what I've seen on the replies on this post, they'd already explained everything and you've just awaken a 3days ignored post. Hope you won't do it next time.

Well, it is legal to sell your BitcoinTalk account (or about any other account of that sort), but it is frowned upon by the community. I’d guess it would go under either “Goods” or “Services,” but I have no experience selling accounts, so I don’t know for sure.

Legally ? Mate ,it is not illegal to sell bitcointalk accounts,I'm talking in terms of law and cyber infringement rights here.It is just not endorsed by the forum and the community which is all that matters.You also seem like someone who doesn't have an idea why is going around.Stop selling accounts. You might sell those on the Digital Goods boards. But just as Pearls said, account selling isn't illegal yet it is not recommended since scammers use those especially those account that has green trust to scam others. And some use a lot of account to spam the board while joining signature campaign. So better not tell everyone the name of that account when selling it or else, it'll get a negative feedback. It's not illegal to sell bitcointalk accounts on this forum, but it only aids people who do bitcointalk no good. Scammers, for one, when the account is trusted and highly-ranked. And sig campaign garbage posters. To put it mildly, account selling is extremely frowned upon by senior members here. Don't do it.
