TRX can be stored on the exchange
I just recently got some tron and when I went to withdraw it to a wallet, I go to their site and there is a message up saying they will be moving away from ERC20 addresses and using addresses on trx in june. So I was wondering is it possible for me to still safely store my tron on myetherwallet until June? I don't want to lose the coins?

It's still safely and you just need to be patience waiting for the swap instruction from the tron. It looks like tron will try to use its own coin after june and I guess you should stay on the tron social discussion group and then waiting for the next news soon will be released by the developer of tron. Don't worry you will be fine. THanks
Ok great thanks for the reply, I asked in the telegram group and got the A OK from them and I sent them to my mew. Now just waiting for craptopia to processing my withdraw (now 5 hours later....)

Can you give me the link of this announcement? IMO I think if they're going to remove TRX out of ERC20 token list, they must create their own wallet for TRX only and you'll be able to send your TRX to new wallet before it'll be removed.
For now, I think it's still safe you keep holding your TRX token in MEW cause it's still a ERC20 token

You need to keep an eye on the news of the company and then you will definitely know what to do in such a situation. I think that once the company creates its own purse, then you will need to transport these tokens in some way to the new wallet. You can ask all the detachments on the official telegram of the company's channel, I think that there will definitely help you there.

They should allow anybody to transfer funds because what if I have tron and don't read the news only to find out year later that I am unable to use my ERC20. From the notice it states that you should have coins on exchange which is strange. Maybe best would be to ask their community via telegram or something else.
