And as of now it’s been becoming a nigger business place the online businesses so accepting bitcoin is a plus factor for both Seller and buyer

That's really great to see a lot of businesses now are offering and accepting bitcoin payment. But I was looking for a physical store that accepts bitcoin since most of it are digital and online store. It would be better to promote bitcoin if a physical store or shop would also offer crypto payments. Also here in my country, I haven't seen one, or a shop that accepts bitcoin although crypto are not being restricted here.

I'm only aware that restaurants and some grocery are accepting bitcoin payments here in my place never heard of an university that really accept bitcoin payments.

I never thought bitcoin is being accepted by this much, I mean this is a great achievement in all of the obstacles bitcoin faced since 2009. I mean it's nice to know that Bitcoin is being accepted by different companies, countries, establishments, or any stores and businesses, but my concern is its disadvantage as a payment. We all know that Bitcoin's transaction sometimes took too much time depending on how much transaction fee you are going to put, and that's the other concerns that follows, transaction fee is not cheap, losing profits is already decided if you'll use it as a payment on products that could be bought by credit cards or cash.

Of course this is not a full list. This should not be a full list because [1] after I had a quick scan of it I cannot find a single company on it that is based in the Philippines, and [2] there are 195 countries in the whole world and I don't believe there are more countries than there are companies or stores that accept Bitcoin all over the globe. Wink

Most of these companies are operating on an international level. I'm afraid BTC-accepting tiny shops and stores that are ubiquitous all over the world are missed.

I also noticed that there are companies on the list that were opened up or started as a crypto or Bitcoin company. The likes of Denarium, Fortune Jack, Bitcoin Real Estate, Ledger, Trezor, and some more are on this category. It is better if the list is about those existing companies and stores that are drawn into the Bitcoin phenomenon, accepting BTC as an alternative form of payment, when before they only accept fiat, because they somehow see the potential of the future of it.

Well I don't think Microsoft allows payments through bitcoin anymore. But the problem here is that these kind of things are merely working at online companies and we are yet to discover the true usage of bitcoin which would happen when we can walk into a store and buy something using it which I don't think is happening anywhere in a few years.

Definitely not in rest of the asia mate. or anywhere near this subcontinent. If you are a bank who has ties with any company which are into cryptocurrencies bank would need to stop any interactions and transactions with that company. Moreover in many countries people still can't pay everywhere using their cards how can we expect to pay using BTC.

I'm surprised with the list, some of them are top companies on the internet, we need more sites with the list, I'm not using some of them, but here in our country I can use my Bitcoin to buy a lot of items we are lucky to have an all in one exchange, where we can convert our Bitcoin to our local currency or use Bitcoin to pay our bills, insurance buy stop online or even donate, Bitcoin has truly come along way when it comes to it's buying power.

Here in my country, there are a lot of things that we used bitcoin but not actually directly. We convert bitcoin into peso and used it for some things we need in our daily expenses and daily needs. I am not pretty sure if there is direct transaction now here in the Philippines that uses bitcoin as a payment. I usually spend bitcoin in my needs and food.

What I am curious of is how much money came in since they started accepting Bitcoin as a legitimate payment option? If there is no growth then perhaps we can say that people are still not using Bitcoin as a currency and are probably hoarding it. If there is a growth then that is a very welcome news and other businesses might also encouraged and join them in adding Bitcoin as an accepted payment.

The list is mostly composed of online companies. It would be best to see the list increasing with physical chain of hotels, restaurants, and stores in the coming years.

Of course there are far more places that we can spend online, but actually now there are many different companies that issue cryptocurrency credit cards where buy when you use the credit card at a store, your funds are automatically deducted from your cryptocurrency balance, converted into Fiat and processed on the card. But their words really holds nothing, the only people that can ever be a victim of government ban are those who are supposed to openly declare the use of cryptocurrency for payment, I mean merchants, and those who would walk to a shop to use it to pay, but when it comes to online payment, how would government know, when they are not monitoring you or the site involve. Honestly, I can't use those services since my country has decided to ban bitcoin as payment system also if I try to impose to use the service I'll need a huge money to use them since they will charge a shipping cost to send the stuff to my home. Gratefully, for those people who live where bitcoin is legalized by government so they can use it as payment system.

I only use bitcoin to sending money to different countries, yeah I have my little brother who is studying abroad in Turkey so I can send money to him through bitcoin with fast. Before I knew bitcoin I still use WU to send money but it took at least five days and I think it was too long. I think your article will be helpful and it could be use by some companies who haven't use bitcoin as a tool of payment.

in my opinion there are still many companies that accept payments in bitcoin currency that I don't know about outside of the list you made. Of course there are countless other companies that accept Bitcoin or are on their way to enter Bitcoin. We can only hope for huge profits for the Bitcoin community.

By looking at the list it adds to my knowledge because only a few companies I know.
I am glad that Bitcoin can be accepted in many companies, let alone many big companies that we often hear.
Cryptocurrencies will continue to evolve and the adoption of mass becomes an excellent solution.
If crypto can be used in everyday life, I think it will be easier and especially in transacting.

Can you give us some of the sites where you can buy game credits with BTC directly? And since you said "no need" does the site support Steam games?

We have a local third party crypto payment processor here on that kind of service but it's only limited on our country I guess. So that is a big help for other gamers out there who don't have a service like that available in their country.

Wow, these are really large companies, and these companies is large enough to let at least one third of the whole world population know about bitcoin because of their popularity, I am sure that as these companies continues to implement the use of cryptocurrency, many people will start getting to know about the coin too and how they can also use it.

I am sure that the list is still growing, and gradually that list may go over 1000 companies worldwide, and if these altcoins really had use case, and they were able to establish the company they raise money for, I am sire that they would have also added bitcoin to their payment services and they would have been listed among all these companies also, but its better we still start with this first, we are way to go.

It's a good idea, and I've seen other similar attempts to make the list of places, but it seems to me that it makes more sense to make a website where people could search through the database of such places and add their own. And there should be a sorting system by types of places, online/offline, countries... Perhaps a good way of organizing it would be a map, I don't know. It's just that I know some places in my country, for instance, but they seem too insignificant to mention if you have a list with a total of 150 places in the world. I'd add a worldwide place, though. It's Starbucks. As far as I remember, they don't officially say that one can pay for coffee with Bitcoin, but they do accept it. But yeah, Starbucks is confusing, and other places I know are local.

Some of services are only exclusively tied to specific countries, but there are many who do business internationally. Exactly. Spend bitcoin instead of fiat. What is the problem? You just convert some fiat into bitcoin and use that. You would use that fiat anyway so why not use it through crypto since the opportunity is there.
It isn't an investment in that way really. It is a currency. You invest in an idea and new way of sending and receiving payments when you invest in bitcoin. You also enable yourself greater ease in payment since bitcoin payments is walys much easier then fiat.

Most of the companies in this list are related to the cryptocurrency industry anyway,so I don't think it's a legit list.I've never heard about 90% of the companies on the list,which means that they aren't that popular.
G2A is well known for scamming people and selling used game keys.Wikipedia isn't a company.It's a non-profit organization.Anyway,the creator of the list could do a better job.

Nice list, there are a lot of big companies in the list, I'm more familiar on overstock, microsoft and AT&T and I didn't know there's more big companies that are already accepting bitcoin. Did read a few comments where they gave names of a few more companies accepting Bitcoin. I cannot call this as adoption, it is more like acceptance to adoption. It can be called Adoption when a few of these companies actually disclose the amount of transactions that were done using Bitcoin.

Well, this list can never be exhausted as there are other merchants that are accepting Bitcoin which is not known publicly but we need to start from somewhere. It could have been better if you call allow merchant to add their services if they are accepting any digital currency as mode of payment not only Bitcoin alone.

If I read this article looks great company can accept Bitcoin. This is proof that Bitcoin's development continues to run and this large company knows that Bitcoin provides a huge advantage. I am personally proud that companies like Rakuten, BMW, and Microsoft can accept Bitcoin.

I do Bitcoin trading, but I don't use it to buy stuff. But from Bitcoin, I made money go to buy stuff. In my country, there are not many companies that accept Bitcoin.

You can't claim BMW accepts bitcoin when we talk about 1 in a thousand UK dealer doing so.

You can add Burger king (Germany), they started accepting bitcoin a couple of days ago (for online delivery). Both Microsoft and Expedia stopped accepting Bitcoin last year so I suggest removing them.

Also, there are a lot of services, so that makes it very hard to browse. I suggest making a table or at least put the services into categories like flights, gambling, shopping, etc.
