what is cryptsy?
is it aproval service?
could you give link..
thanks.

cryptsy is a website for the sale and purchase of altcoin, but now the website has been dead, so, if you want to try trading, may try to use bittrex or poloniex, and if you want to see this website: cryptsy.com.

Yobit is good, for volume bittrex and poloniex seem best, I also have used bleutrade and cryptopia to trade once in awhile with good results.

i used all of the above exchangers and i have to say bittrex is the best. but that is just a matter of my preference.
Yobit lists almost any coin, many of them can be scam coins. a lot of them doesn't have any daily volume.
poloneix has the highest volume but it will require personal information for using their site.
bleutrade is a good exchanger with a good API but the volume is not high enough.
cryptopia is also good like bleutrade and low volume but there is this interesting option to trade altcoins with other altcoins instead of btc like trading ltc,doge,ftc,uno,dot,...

I would go for bittrex too. I got money on bleutrade too (They do seem a nice exchange) but I would not consider putting more then .5 BTC there.
Same applies for c-cex and hitbtc. Stay with the big boys and you are safe.

i used bittrex.com for trading, i recommend use bittrex or poloniex, the fee of trading for bittrex is 0.25%, yes indeed greater than poloniex, different of 0.05%, and it's up to you want to try bittrex.com or poloniex.com. all website have advantages and disadvantages!

Bittrex and poloniex for altcoins for sure. Both are very much reliable and the best is they offer many top altcoins.
For just bitcoin i mostly trade at bitfinex. They are one of the big guys.

Those and offcourse kraken.com. Kraken has proven to  me that they are a high end exchange with top notch trade features.
Stoploss etc. In regards to the support team i can say they do an outstanding job.
Within 1 business most of the queries are replied and resolved.

Thanks for all the info.

Still shocked to hear about Cryptsy, it was pretty close to were I live in Florida.

What about cloud mining? I did alright with CEX trading btc to ghs but it was beginning of 2014.

Wouldn't mind connecting with daytraders here. Feel free to reach out via PM.

Cryptsy i think they are planning it in the beginning. I have only small amount invested there..
Cloud mining is not profitable and most of them are scam Beware about cloudmining theres no trusted cloudmining sites these month's its better to trade your bitcoins into usd to bitcoin and bitcoin to usd so that you can make profit..

I mostly use Yobit you should try it its working very well and mostly its also very fast with payout, but that is almost everyone of course.
The layout and easiness of the website is also very nice, they have a whole dashboard for it.
yobit have relatively low volume in trading, poloniex offer altcoin and bitcoin trading and volume are relatively big. I do most of my altcoiin trading there.

My favorit place to trade bitcoin is : vip.bitcoin.co.id (local market)
then for altcoin i use :
-Bittrex ( high volume )
-huobi (take loan to get more profit)
-yobit (highest gain )
-poloniex (just for alternative market)
My favourite places to trade btc-alt for now only Bittrex and Poloniex , Vip.bitcoin.co.id still lack of volume because not everyone can trade in that site (only Indonesian peoples).

im never use poloniex again after i must upload id card to increase the limit trade
now Im focus at bittrex to trade altcoin

watch out for poloniex, i readed somewhere on the forum, just few days ago they had some troubles with deposits, u better make a little research.
I have also tried their platform do some ethereum trades and all works fine although that were small trades. I think they are better to trade altcoins in large volume than other altcoin accepting platforms.

Trade at Yobit, this is low volume exchange but still can be very impressive
if you trade with new coins only available on Youbit at that moment.
Bittrex is good also if you have large volumes.
Ccex , Poloniex are also very good places.

Trying to get back into trading daily, where do you guys trade now that Crypsty is gone?

Mine is yobit, they have a good support and you can trade 350 coins and they are adding more daily,I never had problem dealings with yobit they are one of the best exchanger/trading site in the industry right now

I think yobit is one of the best that is out there.
Also used ccex but I had some problem with it.
Yobit is the better in my opinion its easier.

Any thoughts on Paxful?
Localbitcoin is better.
I believe c-cex, Bter are good places to trade. Both have a good security and are nice places to trade.
Both are trusted, can't go wrong with them.
Do you forget about bter hack? They lost tremendous amount of bitcoin? They are still struggling to pay back the users.

I bet you that none of those sites was hacked at all (bter=mt.gox=cryptsy). It's all probably just supposed to look like a hack to get some profit out of it,
even if they "returning" some of lost coins to users (even when returning funds, they still make profit in regards to coin price now and before)
I would stay away from any alt that isn't on btc-e, because only there i think you can trade atleast with some confidence.

Beware to choose about trading site some of them are fake or scam so this great that you ask anyone here in our forum what is the best trading site.
I hope that you can get a right trading site. and beware scammers out there...

Both are trusted, can't go wrong with them.

c-cex is the worst platform for trading anything.
it has the worst design, it does not look good or easy at all.
worst of all is its API, it is total crap. you can't get and easy orderbook. and worst of all is the 5 second mandatory delay between requests.

and don't get me started on bter, after the stolen 7170 bitcoin the exchanger is dead.

there are so many altcoin exchange such c-cex, Bter, bittrex, yobit or poloniex and you could choose whatever you want but i personally prefer to use poloniex for altcoin trade

Yobit is best one i guess to trade any kind of cryto currencies like bitcoin, altcoin, dodge and etc...
I use to sell and buy bitcoins from localbitcoins.com because trusted traders and escrow system is there to protect us. our money will be very safe and Only thing we have find a right trader and we have to sell it.

Those saying ccex you should ignore. They are a terrible exchange. As above said Bittrex is good and has started picking up again and to me are trustworthy enough for a few btc trading. Poloniex has to be the go to even if cryptsy was still about.

Before telling you where i trade my altcoins i will mention to you that the best way to keep your coin safe is not to leave it with the exchangers.
I trade at yobit, poloniex and c-cex.
Can you tell us the advantage of using more than one platform?
I use yobit.
There is not much advantage but some coin are listed on for example that are not on polo, so if you need to trade an extremely new coin yobit is the best choice.
