By the looks of it, it looks like it was unlisted on Coinmarketcap for more than a year already.

Since there is next to zero liquidity already since it really isn't listed on any exchange and that it's actually abandoned like you've said, unfortunately chances are, your PoSTokens are worth zero or almost zero.

Yes. I'm aware. It's been a long time since trading for PoSToken stopped probably because the developer abandoned it. What I loved about PoSToken the most, is the ability to "stake" tokens right from the Ethereum blockchain. It could've been the future of ERC-20 tokens on ETH, as they adopt features similar to those on PoS blockchain networks. I've also seen ERC tokens that are mineable (like 0xBitcoin and KIWI), bringing a whole new world of possibilities on Ethereum.

I guess that abandoned tokens can still be traded on decentralized exchanges or in-person, if there's enough demand for it. I've stumbled across an exchange called "Uniswap" which allows anyone to list an ETH token. There's also McFeeDEX which allows you to do the same. The only issue would be liquidity, as decentralized exchanges are not well known or used by serious traders in the crypto space. I'd definitely love to stake more PoSTokens just for fun, by buying more via a DEX or an OTC site. Maybe someday, a developer becomes interested in building upon PoSToken to make a new and improved version of it. I believe that the future of crypto lies on stakeable or mineable tokens right on the Ethereum blockchain without the need to start your own blockchain network from scratch. Smiley

I think all exchange platforms have delisted this PoStoken 1 year ago. I've searched in the Blockfolio app coin tracker and it was listed on these exchanges before in EtherDelta, ForkDelta, Mercatox, and other not familiar exchanges of mine but when I checked on the said exchange, they aren't listed there.

Reply above of mine was right, they have totally abandoned this project and now it becomes worthless or a zero value in the market and there's nothing you can do on selling and buying with this.

That's very disappointing. Besides the project's HYIP scheme, the core token itself had a very promising concept. It was the first-ever token on the ETH blockchain with PoS (sort of). Anyone could "mint" new tokens on ETH just as they would with ordinary PoS cryptocurrencies like Peercoin and Blackcoin. Since there's no exchange available for PoSToken, my options for staking this token are limited. I doubt there's still demand for PoS-based tokens right on the ETH blockchain. I've also seen a lack of interest from everyday people into ETH mineable tokens like 0xBitcoin and KIWI. At least, the idea/concept is there. Maybe in the future, developers would make PoS and PoW tokens on ETH a hit. In the meantime, I'll stick with other popular tokens on the Ethereum blockchain with better returns. My wallet still has a bag of PoSToken, waiting there to be sold if it ever comes alive in the future.

I remember this shitcoin was able to trade before on EtherDelta, this shitcoin is really popular way back year 2017-2018 where the bull run commence, and ICO fever or airdrop fever.
They started also here on the forum before which they have some campaigns to earn PoSTOKEN, but suddenly they were gone after a few weeks and the price of their token started to dump and dump until now. For me, it's already dead altcoin.

I remembered Postoken very well, it was the first and only airdrop I participated in. It is just like the DeepOnion token. Unfortunately many exchange that it was listed has delisted the POstoken and their official website is also dead. I remembered it was first traded on Etherdelta then. I'm not sure if it is still possible to trade it on etherdelta but you can check it out. Coinmarketcap must have also unlisted the token because it was dead long time ago
I have still some Postoken in my stash when i do get this from airdrop and its no surprising that most erc20 tokens do eventually die in the end of the line.

Just like any others thats why i dont really put up much attention on checking out my wallet since it do contain most erc20 which are total shit.

For op, its better not to stress out yourself and just accept that we cant just trust up projects that had already been hardly dumped in the past.

Least chances that this one would be revived back.

I would say it's a dead token (Most ERC20 tokens that had hype in 2017-2018 are).  If i were you. I would just give up on it. It's price is probably worthless due to very low demand or very few people willing to buy a dead token.

Try using https://deltabalances.github.io/ to find out which ERC20 dexes recently traded the token

This is the first time I am seeing a coin/token on coinmarketcap without any market pairs Huh.

No ranking for this token. Also having the "inactive" tag.

Doesn't coinmarketcap have any policy for delisting? It seems once got listed into them, a coin/token may remain with them forever but with no rank and with inactive status. Probably the new management may bring up changes as we have already noticed lots of improvements in user experiences with them.

Coinmarketcap doesn't totally remove the dead coins' pages for data purposes. In their defense, they won't even show up on Coinmarketcap's search anyway, so the searches wouldn't be so cluttered. To access these "inactive" pages you'd have to access them through a direct link(or from a Google search).

I hold lots of tokens which never hit exchanges or already got delisted. These are all consequences of end of ICO industry, need to face and move-on; no other go as per my conclusion after year long searches.

PoSToken used to be a great token on the ETH blockchain where anyone can virtually "mint" new coins just like an ordinary PoS cryptocurrency today. All of this is possible with the power of smart contracts. Unfortunately, the token was abandoned by the developer after lack of interest in the project. The token's official site offered high returns that looked like a ponzi scheme like Bitconnect. Besides this, the core token smart contract worked as intended. It can still be used on the ETH platform by running the smart contract code.

Considering that it's been quite some time after the developer abandoned PoSToken, there doesn't seem to be any exchange listed for it. I'm looking for a place where I could buy or sell PoSToken to ETH or vice versa with the stakes I earn from it. Everything works just like traditional Proof-of-Stake cryptocurrencies, but even better in my own opinion. At least, the idea is there. Maybe someday another PoS token will take the ETH market by storm?

I'd appreciate any suggestions or recommendations related to this matter. It would've been great to trade the token on a decentralized exchange, for an instant and hassle-free exchange from ETH to PoSToken or viceversa. If you happen to know where I could buy or sell PoSToken, please let me know. Thanks in advance Smiley
