If you are not clearly abusing the feature, like reporting the posts of someone you disagree with over and over, or just spamming it, then nothing will happen even if mods disagree with your reports. If you believe that the post is breaking the rules, go ahead and report it, this will help the forum. Don't worry about being wrong if your intentions are honest.

Will there be any problem for me
🤔, I guess you're scared users you reported would find out you snitched on them, right? Well, that shouldn't be a bother to you if you do report to mods objectively without being out to witch hunt anyone. To say the truth, I've read reports in the Meta section of indiscriminate deletion of posts by mods. It leaves little to desire though when one sees posts that aren't spam or off topic get deleted; such a situation should demoralize any sound thinking poster who puts in their best. I mainly report off topic posts or those I see to be trolling. I just reported one before posting here.

Report as you see fit. If the moderator finds the report correct, he’ll take action accordingly upon the reported post/thread/account (delete, merge, ban, move, lock, etc.).
The reporter should not really need to be worried for having made the report, although he may want to look at his own success ratio as time goes by, in order to get a sense of whether his criteria is seemingly correct in his reports. This gets noticeably easier when one reaches the 300 good report mark, which enables him to see the individual status of each of his reports, in a 30 day window (regrettably, you need to meet the 300 good reports before being able to see this option).

Note: I recall once people commenting what could happen if you’re reports were extremely poor (i.e. incorrect). The general idea was that nothing should really happen, unless you’re trying to troll the mods or such.

Note 2: I doubt it should really be much of a priority now in a recently created account. As time goes by, it's easier to stop cases one may wish to report.

I would like to inform those reports to the moderator. Will there be any problem for me or any action will be taken against that topic.
Go ahead and report any topic you consider as low quality and that breaks the rule, there will be no negative action for you, and action will definitely be taken against the thread or reply if the moderator considers your report to be good/correct. You do not have to be reluctant to report bad posts, just make sure you are doing it accurately, the forum actually appreciates such effort and contribution, that is why there have been numerous discussions on awarding users with reporters badge for their efforts to rid the forum of bad posts. There is as yet no official reporters badge on the forum, though we may get one soon, but there is an unofficial Bitcointalk reporters badge. Over here is also another thread that shows the forum appreciates users making good reports on low quality posts, so if you start now, you can definitely do as good in the long run

Only admins/mods can see who report the post so you don't have to worry about getting any issues from those that wrote the posts/topics you reported. Regarding any action taken, if report is valid posts will be removed, as simple as that. Also, don't fret about having bad reports, we all get it from time to time.

If you are unsure, and until you gain more experience, you can ask the community for an opinion. Post here (or better yet, open a new topic in the Meta board) with a concrete example that you believe violates the forum rules. Getting feedback from more experienced members will help you to know how to report to moderators better.
In my opinion, best place to ask for help or opinion is Spambusters thread. At least that's the one I used when I was starting with reporting, and I am still use it occasionally.

can u tell us about report to moderator how to use its? If I use it, will I face any problem?I have read the rules in the forum. I have noticed many topics outside the rules. I would like to inform those reports to the moderator. Will there be any problem for me or any action will be taken against that topic.

Note: Basically (Report to moderator) I want to know about its use.

Getting feedback from more experienced members will help you to know how to report to moderators better. Although I should mention, there are no penalties for bad reports. If you make a mistake in your judgment, the moderators will mark the report as bad, and that's it.

Aside from the advice the others have given, I would only add that you should start practicing. You seem too shy. If you report a post, the person who wrote it is not going to know who reported him, and even so, so what. So if you think a post breaks the rules report it, the worst that can happen is as you have been told it will be marked as bad or unhandled.

just to add to what the posts above have said. just because you think that some posts are of low quality, off-topic, or have been posted on the wrong board does not mean they will be deleted or be moved by the moderators. so don't be surprised if some of your reports have been deemed as "bad" or "unhandled".

No. Why should you face a problem?
If you think a post has been made against the rules, report it to moderators. This will help the forum and the community will be so thankful to you.
You can also write a short comment and tell moderators why you believe the post is against the rules.

I recommend you to read the good guide made by welsh.
[Unofficial Guide] Reporting effectively

And note that once you reach 300 good reports, you will be able to see your report history.

Report to moderator is basically used if you see a post (Like spam or off-topic) or member who is breaking forum rules. You report the post or member so that action is taken by moderators. If you make a report, you won't get into trouble.
