We do not know that but so far cryptocurrencies is doing the best thing where in we can say that it has a great future. So exciting to witness the future.
Crypto currencies are going to be accepted globally very soon, presently it is reaching more and more people day by day.

A blockchain platform to turn time into the cryptocurrency. Governments will have their own digital currencies and Bitcoin will be like the gold standard was. It'll be the world's reserve currency, not the US dollar anymore.
I think those crypto currency will be used world wide. It will contribute more in the future because of its great valve. It has more use and can be used easily
If we are talking about 15-20 years at least...cryptocurrencies will exist for sure.. and we will see a couple of the existing currencies in the future and some completely and new, much better and much perfect and improved ones.

Everywhere and nowhere, the scariest prospective is this it will go down as fast as it was growing is some parts of countries. Of course, I don’t have a crystal ball, but for me Bitcoin -

Crypto is still in its infancy. There is a lot of room to grow and be publicly accepted. Bitcoin is starting to become a name brand and has a bright future.
I think in the future many crypto will not survive because of different policies of government in the world but bitoin will surely survive these policies.
Governments will have their own digital currencies and Bitcoin will be like the gold standard was. It'll be the world's reserve currency, not the US dollar anymore.
Bitcoin will for sure be the standard in which all other currencies base their value off of, and there might be one altcoin on the Grin blockchain for privacy reasons but that's it. Other gov't money will become digital.
No one can predict the future for sure. What's happening in many parts of the world anyway is that Bitcoin, Ethereum and blockchain technology in general are getting very high recognization and are becoming to be widely used by various actors. The ICO fever over the last few months is a clear evidence of this. I'm pretty confident as well that crypto future will be bright.

Yes it is and it will stay a small scale thing until I can easily us it to buy anything the same way I use a credit card or green bills. At this time it is anything but currency. I like it as a place to hold cash in that it can't be inflated beyond the 21 million limit. American is being taken over by the mind set of socialism which hates free market anything. I hope it makes it but BTC has a long road ahead. For now it's just a way to speculate which is a long way from being an investment. Government has the power to keep a blackmarket tool. Still usefull but not what it could be. We won't know for some time.
In my opinion some coins like eth will grow much more as they do so far, but I also believe the price of small coins with low volumes will end up with a value equivalent zero.
Reporters said that currencies will not vanish said the people who researched and tolled it in the news so if you don't buy today you will regret buying in the future because it will go high

If the good things that are happening in cryptocurrencies will continue to improve then it is easy for the cryptocurrencies to be more popular in the future and be adopted my more people in the future. Many predicts that all paper money will be gone and be cryptos so the people who are very rich today in BTC will be more richer in the future, there's alot of bias people to BTC but they don't know it's potential to go to the moon and stay there and fly to another planet!

There will be other more efficient, cheaper, more reliable coins than Bitcoin in the near future. Bitcoin is a name brand is probably here to stay, but there are other coins with much better technology.
Crypto will be used in plastic cards in future as now cash is getting used.

Totally agree. ICOs are where it's going. Or rather what they're saying they will do is where it's going. Applications that take over the world with blockchain tech behind them.
Asking this question on a bitcoin forum will get you biased replies. The replies might not be so bullish if you asked on an stock's forum for example.
There's a lot of really smart people working really hard on BTC to improve and make it work. However, in some ways it works against the desires of very powerful entities in the world that could try and stop BTC.

My hope is that crypto will completely replace fiat to the point where fiat is no longer relevant. I think cryptocurrencies and decentralized applications have the potential to create a whole new social order. It takes power away from a small amount of people benefitting off the current economic system, and it puts it into the hands of the people.
I know this sounds somewhat idealistic, but I believe it is possible. I just think there may be some road blocks with scaling, and sometimes worry that scam ico's can make a bad name for the rest of crypto.
The potential is really limitless if we do it the right way and don't let legislation from governments stop the crypto movement!
If there is still money in power and being that this money is in few people's hands I don't see how it changes much in that aspect. It should even more focused than now at that.

These are still the early stages of crypto. Most cryptos have rebounded after disastrous news/hacks, which is a positive sign for a bright future.

This is the million dollar question. You are right that it will change. Change itself is constant. The real question is where?? The internet was at one time really cutting edge and an escape of sorts. Now it is full of TBTF companies dominating it and nations refecting their values on it.
I think the same will happen with Bitcoin. It will be reflected by each regions' culture. Look at China and its repressive halt. US and its love of KYC/AML data snooping and then you have the Venezuelas where Blockchain will help 3rd world citizens retain some value from the financial shocks that will come...and they will keep coming.

Well, the reality that we all know that this technology has been invented and it cannot be uninvented. All these Crypto Assets are here to stay. Many should also realize that the first adopters haven't even showed up yet, we haven't reached the first wave of people. What, where are we?
Less than 1% of the population in the United States and a couple hundred thousand in Venezuela, including a few thousand in China mean while Bitcoin's going up, correcting, and going up again. You guys have no idea how far this is going to go and nor do I, but it's going to be big. Watch a few Andreas Antonopoulos videos on youtube and you'll get an excellent idea on where all this is going.
In the future, Cryptocurrency will instead of papercurrency, you see the birth of a new digital currency everyday but only a few will survive in the next future. AS Ethereum that have Smart contracts will become currency of future

I agree with that. So many projects will fail, but you don't have revolution technology with a crazy mania phase where many of the new revolution rise and fall. The ones that survive become the google and amazons of the world.
crypto currencies have a bright future if miners are stuck with mining new blocks continously. Also the alt currencies are much dependent on bitcoins because almost all of the crypto currencies(other then bitcoin) are traded and exchanged by bitcoins mostly. So bitcoin will remain alive so all crypto currencies will be alive with prices pumps n dumps.

Individual cryptocurrencies will come and go. Some will succeed and reach heights than are difficult to imagine. Many will fail and be forgotten.
But blockchain, the technology behind them all, has an extremely bright fututre. I see it running the backend of much of the world's financial and supply chain ecosystems within a decade.

i mean not good for us not in a short term(because we're the crypto player will gain a lot of profit from it) but in a long term?,
