Besides ethereum, there is also stellar. stellar is still new when compared with ethereum. But with stellar capabilities that have a transaction speed of 2 to 5 seconds and allow users to quickly swap the government's legalized currency (like converting US dollars into Euros) I think it will have a good future.

Hello,

Simple question. Which coin transaction is fastest thrue exchangers?
Maybe ETH ?

How much time takes to arrive from one exchanger to another?

My seems that ETH is the fastest at the moment,it each sending need 36 confirmation and it takes about 10-15 minutes. Bitcoin with high fee sometimes quickly also. But ETH with low fee sometimes quickly also.

DGb and LTC are both smokin' fast on a good day.

What do you all think?
I had heard that LTC is very fast, but I suppose any alt could be fast but due to the low volume of their transactions and of course also due to the block time.

ETH is not only the fastest transaction speed that it also had the highest security level in the present time. If BTC unable to breakthroughs in the future, I think that ETH will occupy the top 1 of BTC
I think that's impossible, Bitcoin will stay in position 1, because Bitcoin is the parent of all altcoin. ETH is just an alternative to getting Bitcoin. Fast or slow transactions, it depends on the cost of bitcoins that prioritize users or senders
pay the largest Bitcoin (BTC) miner cost, so with
The biggest cost would be to quickly build a bitcoin miner network, with the smallest cost
which is slowly confirmed bitcoin network.

Waves and Deeponion both are very fast ~30 sek.

Deeponion is not only fast, it is also anonymous!

One of the best ways to make transactions. I recommed to take part in the airdrop, you get coins for free.

Sign up with the link in my signature and join fast and anonymous transaction.

Also check the deepsend feature, that is really a stand alone feature of Deeponion.

I think fastcoin is the fastes, because fastcoin has 30 second block time, you can get the first confirmation after atleast 30 seconds, ethereum has at least 15 second block but the confimation time is longer, but ethereum and bitcoin will have lightining network, these two will make their transaction instant, and the fastest among cryptocurrency as for now.

Waves and ETH are the fastest I've tried (waves a little faster probably, and doesn't get broken when the network is busy).
I haven't tried it yet and maybe its good to try other coins aside from bitcoin when dealing inside exchange as for fiat I don't have any exchange that will allow another crypto to our currency so its still prefer btc have no choice yet hopefully eth or waves will also be adopted by our exchangers so we can quickly exchange it.

The title holder is Ripple. When it comes to generating blocks quickly, there is no competition for Ripple right now. Closely following Ripple is Ethereum. Many people believe Ethereum is the world’s fastest cryptocurrency in terms of block generation time, but that is not the case.

The Dogecoin transaction is fastest. Because while the bitcoin transaction is completed within 10 to 30 minutes. The Dogecoin transaction completed in 5 minutes. But now i got to know that Ethereum transaction is fastest than other altcoin. That's why today most of the ICO is runs on ETH blockchain.

Hello,

Simple question. Which coin transaction is fastest thrue exchangers?
Maybe ETH ?

How much time takes to arrive from one exchanger to another?

bitcoin with high fees usually takes like 3 minutes also eth too but with over 2100 gas i think, this is main reason why i never put lowe fees on crypto transaction since it takes an age to confirm also blocks have vital part of this transaction things so better be careful and dont put nonsense amount of fees

True, almost everyone says and feels that the ETH confirmation process can be said quickly with a confirmation rate of 10 -20 minutes by looking at the value of a fairly high ETH.

transaction times and finality in the blockchain are two different things. Immutable transactions on a blockchain are time based, it's why exchanges need more confirmation times for some coins than others. Fast block times don't mean they are as secure as long block times. A bitcoin transaction with one confirmation is more secure than a litecoin tx with two confirmations.
With segwit transaction malleability will be gone and tx are instant, immutable confirmations will still take time. Lightning network will eliminate the need to wait for confirmations for all but the transactions involving millions of dollars in value.

Bitshares and other dpos coins are the fastest being a few seconds to confirm.
I not think altcoin can create transaction and confirm very fast than DGB at now, just need 10s almost instant after sending to an address. XRP good too but still can't compare with DGB

stellar lumens is faster, i tried when i linked my address  of bitcoin to get free lumens, and i then sent the lumens to bittrex, after i clicked the send button the coin where already there on bittrex, 0 seconds lol, never seen a coin faster than this

Transaction speed again depend on transaction fees. But for me ether would be the fastest and also bitcoin doing fairly good even with some low transaction fees like 18 /Byte and doge is having universal fees like 1 doge per transaction even confirmation about 20 to 40 minutes it varies

Bitcoin been too active that there are lots of bulk transactions that cant handle yet by bitcoin but developments may occur soonest.

You must also be aware about segwit too, maybe he thinks that segwit might make transactions instant on bitcoin but O don't know why he claimed that ETH will have instant transactions in the future too. For me the fastest and cheapest coin to send right now on altcoins is doge since their transaction fee is only 1-2 doge which is 100+ satoshis only. It also takes only less than 5 minutes most of the time for it to have confirmations.

Thank you for your post Ayers,

You are correct in that FastCoin is the fastest, however its block time is actually 12 seconds on average, not 30 ;-)

Some have argued that Ethereum actually based its target block rate from the successful implementation of FastCoin's, which incidentally has been running for over 4 years now.

This was taken directly from Etherum's Website...

"Every 12 seconds, on average, a new block is added to the blockchain with the latest transactions processed by the network and the computer that generated this block will be awarded 5 ether"

at https://ethereum.org/ether

Most of these coins are using some kind of PoS, which actually has quick confirmations. The problem is that the way these coins work is not so safe. This causes exchanges to require large number of confirmations, and this will slow transactions anyway.

Ltc, ETH i would say, the last year or so alot of the new coins have offered this as its been Mother Bitcoin's biggest woe for everyday users :/
Funny cause Bitcoin is now catching up in this area (tho if one paid the fees i would also argue bitcoin has always been fast)
Eth is FAST, but complicated, gas and tokens, newer users lose their money alot :/

SuperCoin is the fastest with the lowest fee.

From Wallet to Wallet in just minutes.
From Wallet to Exchange (and vice versa) in 15 minutes.

Fee is 0.01 Super for every transaction (les then $0.01)

As far as I know Ethereum is the fastest at the moment, it takes couple of minutes. And this is the advantage compared to Bitcoin whose transactions have become realy slow. At the same moment ETH is one of the most perspective altcoins that is worth investing and it should have the bright future.

Yes, Ethereum is the fastest, each sending need 36 confirmation and it takes about 10-15 minutes, cmiiw. bitcoin with high fee sometimes quickly also.

Even with high fees, Bitcoin transactions usually takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the new blocks being mined. And in this case, we should be talking about a scenario in which only the average transaction fee is paid. Because not everyone can afford to pay a very high tx fee. Also, if more users are willing to pay a higher fee, then the tx fee will increase even further.
