I don't use any app to search news about crypto, I mostly use my laptop. I have been relying CoinDesk for few years and I think it will still be my main source for long, I don't know why, I think it's just because they are one of the first internet news site about crypto. I also use CoinMarketCal to keep up with crypto event. Other thing is that I also find some news on twitter.

I read Coindesk and Cointelegraph on the web but the only app I use regularly would be the Bitcoin Magazine app. It has the added benefit of rewarding you with a few sats that you can withdraw through the Lightning Network. The only negative thing about it is that it has a lot of ads. If the ads are too much of an inconvenience you could just go directly to their website or use an adblocking DNS provider.

Telegram is present on both my computer and phone. Moreover, I no longer bother downloading news apps to keep track of Bitcoin and crypto movements. Instead, I simply follow one of my favorite channels that curates news from various credible sources.

I only follow a select few Telegram channels for staying updated on crypto information, namely:
https://t.me/bitcoin_industry (which I highly recommend)
https://t.me/crypto_miami

Having too many news apps can be overwhelming and distracting. That's why I suggest opting for one of these two channels.

It looks like quite useful thing. I don't like to rely on news from single website, while I don't always have time to browse multiple websites. So, this bot is working like aggregator, getting news from multiple resources. Only downside that I see is that news from multiple resources sometimes repeats, but in general, it's minor thing.

Thanks for the feedback, a lot of people reported the same thing. I had plans to allow users to subscribe to certain sources or subjects that way they're not receiving many articles about the same thing but I had to pause that for some time due to the lack of time, but I'm planning to resume the work, possibly by the end of the month.

I see that no one has mentioned OmegaStarScream Telegram bot, it seems that it went unnoticed when he published it. It's fine, pull news from several sources

Looking at the comments on this topic, I doubt that anyone has read or clicked on the link, let alone download the application. Most of the responses spoke in general and did not address the idea that the purpose of creating this topic which is to promote the application that appears as the first option.
Take a look at the OP's username and compare it to the app he suggested - it's exactly the same so would say you did catch it perfectly. LOL

But I'm sure the OP did nothing wrong in promoting his news app - but he did it in the wrong place. If the OP wants to discuss and ask for community suggestions regarding an app he's building - maybe this topic is worth discussing here.

If it was a website, it would get a few free clicks, but I don't expect anyone to download an app here for free (unless they are a campaign rewards for downloading the app)
As far as my quick browsing goes - this app got 50+ downloads. Not sure if any users viewing this thread have downloaded it - but I didn't try.

You should consider doing other kinds of marketing since most of the time a thread like this won't get you anywhere. Your app has been around for a month or so according to your forum activity, yet the download is still very low. Either your app doesn't look attractive or it is not high in demand since other tools usually offer the same function. I've seen many aggregator projects in the past but most of them don't stay around that long, maybe the competition is too tough or the market is not really big to begin with.

Rather then relying on apps I prefer website based crypto news.

Here are the list of sites I follow:

1. https://cryptopanic.com/
2. https://coinmarketcap.com/
3. https://cointelegraph.com/

My other preference is Twitter/X .

After you download the application that you post here, so what do you get from the news, do you feel lucky after reading it or worse.
I don't think OP will approach it from a user perspective since one of them is his app. That being said, I don't think people should attach their feelings to the news/market. I don't think that is healthy at all. At the end of the day they are just information that you can utilize for your benefit, but it is understandable to feel shit when some of your investment went south due to some bad news. Regardless if you use a news app or not, I believe it won't change the fact that something will affect your investment at any given time. CMIIW.

I understand the frustration of missing out on crucial cryptocurrency news.
I'm not sure and believe, especially about Apps that offer news discussing crypto, just google is enough to make me confused about crypto news, today says that, tomorrow says this, so no crypto news apps for me.

For me Bitcointalk has exceeded the Apps circulating outside, here I can get all the news about crypto, although some of them are sourced outside, but that's not a problem for me, for sure I read everything there is.

I want to ask the OP....!
• After you download the application that you post here, so what do you get from the news, do you feel lucky after reading it or worse.
• Then who makes crypto news in the application, Bitcoin experts, successful people in Bitcoin or taken from other sources.
• and what percentage of your knowledge about Bitcoin, after you read it and what have you done in the crypto market or against Bitcoin.

I occasionally read things on Reddit, other members often add comments if the news is incomplete or biased. It can be useful.

There is no application in use, I always rely on social media and also Telgeram to find out crypto news.

For some applications that the OP suggested earlier I did not know I was more standby on twitter to wait for the latest information there faster than other articles.

Twitter is often used daily to get a lot of information including about crypto.
From twitter, I can explore several news sites such as cointelegraph, coindesk to ensure the level of accuracy related to the initial information I got there.

Many well-known crypto players update by tweeting, making it easier for us to find the latest information.
Whatever type of information we get from various platforms, it must be reviewed and compared with several sources so as not to misinterpret it.
There is one source that I think is quite complete and updated and the most active, namely this bitcointalk forum.

Op i have not used any of those apps in your post, and i do not think that i am going to need them. I don't really search for crypto news that much because i know it will eventually be posted in this forum, sometimes it may be posted early or late, but i get most of my crypto news on this forum.

Twitter is also a place i visit for crypto news and i sometimes read articles on Cointelegraph, but it is only in this forum that i really join in the discussion about the news and learn from what other people post about it.

I use Telegram to get news updates and then use https://coinscalendar.com/ to customize it as it focuses me on the circle of news that I want to limit and thus the notifications I get are reduced.I can find breaking news or trends on Twitter, as following some accounts gives you knowledge in several areas, but Telegram channels are my favorite place. I do not remember that there was an app dedicated to that, but rather all sites or bots.

You are trying to tell us that your service is the best, then create an ANN topic and prove it thereز
other services do not contain links to visit.

So, I've compiled a list of apps to ensure you never miss another important update in the crypto world.

1. CryptoReach: With CryptoReach, you'll receive real-time news alerts, price movements, a customizable feed, market cap data, and many other features. This app will keep you connected to the crypto world and ensure that you get notified of any groundbreaking news that's trending. Additionally, it offers coin market cap features to show real-time prices.

Are you serious, offering a closed source app, anonymous developer, downloaded by less than 100 users, to get updates on news, isn't it easier to make it on a webpage or a Telegram bot. It is difficult to trust and risk downloading such applications,

I can track the news well on Twitter or use RSS.

For news, I don't need to be notified real time so I honestly prefer a website over an app since it's lightweight. I guess it also helps that I'm active in the forum and it does a good job for the most part.

In addition, a number of people -- for good reasons are wary on what they install on their phones, because a lot of times, they only have their personal device hence a website is more palatable if the service has just started building their reputation or most people never heard of the app in question. One example of a news aggregator accessible on browsers is cryptopanic.com.

Cryptopanic.com is still the best for me since we are using this by my crypto friends in our local gc for a long time to become updated on all news about crypto. It's a news aggregator that updates real time all the news posted on different news channel.

It's like the coinmarketcap of crypto in terms of news. This is the best platform if you want to become update in every seconds on crypto. It's just bad sometimes if you are trading because your mind might be confused on difference news that might affect your trade.  Grin

Twitter. Not only do you get news if you follow accounts of news sites, you also see people discussing them so you also get to know if some news are inaccurate, and you get to read discussions in general.

if you mean an app and not websites, I look at reddit, telegram, discord and twitter. Though the community sometimes seems sketchy you can grasp interesting information from them, like what altcoin is hot or just a hype, also they post screen captures from different sites so you can compare it from your graph if what they are saying is true.

When it comes to crypto news, I usually stumble upon the headlines by the usual Cointelegraph, Bitcoin Magazine, CoinDesk, Decrypt, Bitcoinist, etc. These are the popular crypto news sites, but you have to exert a little effort to dig deeper. Many a times, these news sites don't offer you well-researched and detailed articles. Reddit or this forum could very well reinforce you with what's lacking. Discussions on what's happening usually provide us a more balanced understanding than just news.

Crypto enthusiasts will prefer following some sites and influential people on social media like Twitter and also be part of some groups that are bitcoin and crypto-related on Reddit, instead of only following the need that will bring the news after it is late.

I use Cointelegraph and Coindesk for news.

How about none of those? Social media influencers will feed you garbage that they are paid to promote, which will get you burned.

I get all my news from here and in the case of crypto in general, r/cryptocurrency and r/bitcoin.

I have found Reddit in particular to be a great news aggregator. It took a slight knock from the users who quit after Reddit admins decided it would be a great idea to piss off a bunch of people by killing 3rd party apps (and making everyone use the shitty official app instead).

I'm in the community as well, r/Bitcoin and r/cryptocurrency,  especially the r/Bitcoin is doing a great job on the Reddit community, They don't give a shit post.
Added to my sources where I do get crypto-related news is on the investing.com App.

I have check with all cryptocurrency site can find with this website kinds where easy checking all coins price without have to see one by one of altcoins kinds. I think this model looks easy for one time can manage to check with all altcoin price, we don't have open each altcoin to know how much current price and this picture model have looking for on any telegram channel cryptocurrency but I can't find it.

Please give me website link to know this website for checking all altcoins price because my mobile phone don't have space for install application recommended by op for updating cryptocurrency news and price.

Pretty much most of the reliable websites have been mentioned by @348Judah already, I use some of them and have my notifications on for their latest news, although when it comes to price watch, I'm stuck with Coingecko since it's not that intrusive. I would like to add Medium as it's a good one if you want to keep up to date with specific projects as most if not all of them are using that for their updates, they even have separate Mediums for each languages.

You can also make use of Cointelegragh, Coingecko, Crypto news app and so many other bees and tracking apps with trusted reputation and not any how platform, there's also a need for yse to always verify any information received from any source to be true and genuine because some of these websites and apps could be cloned by hackers to publish fake news, there are other untrusted crypto news apps and sites which you have to be careful of receiving misleading informations from them, but the listed ones are were good enough and reliable for any updates.
