CLAM preceded all of these airdrops. It was worth around 100m marketcap in the earlier days of bitcoin and the lead dev is the same as RHOM.

Weird question. The first 6 positions are bitcoin forks that you could get for storing bitcoin on a wallet or exchange.
Probably no. Except for BCH & BSV, the rest of the four could not have been claimed by having it on an exchange. You needed to have it on an address and claim with respective fork's wallet with the help of private key.

And what do projects like HEX, Stellar, etc. have to do with bitcoin airdrop?
All these were claimable if you had BTC on your address on a certain block. But, unlike the first 6, they had a time period to claim by signing a message.

What is Rhombius? What is it, some unknown shitcoin or something? What does it have to do with bitcoin airdrop and its forks represented in the first half of the list?
Rhombus is another Alt that was claimable to BTC HODLers. You may read detail about it @ https://rhom.com/airdrop.

Just some random list of tokens that for some reason was placed in the bitcoin airdrop thread. It looks more like a hidden shilling of some next shitcoin.
Each and every Crypto, that I have mentioned in OP, could have been claimed by BTC HODLers at some point with their private key.

I wont take side to any of the fork/airdrop listed by OP. But, from my experience, I can say that the most unexpected coins yield most profitable results in the wild west of Altcoin market.

It doesn't matter if you have big or small balance during those forking times. It's still free money regardless of the money you will receive. But the difference of small and big is there but just consider it that you have earned money without doing it with those forks.
Today, we can rarely find a worthy fork because the majority of them now doesn't have support from its community. The fork lives because of its community.
All things would really vary on community support and i cant see any forks out there which is worth to risk on and come to think on what happen in all Bitcoin forks? Yeah theyve got some value but it doesnt mean that

alts would do the same thing.People do still even hesitates to jumped in with this one and in talks of airdrop, it wouldnt really matter much on which one is good and bad because you wouldnt able to spot out

which one will succeed or not but most of the time those projects turns out to be shit but not all thats why its a bit of a gamble if you do consider this out.
Yes, the community makes them alive and continue in showing their development because if it's not for them, these fork were dead and gone already for a long time. But thanks to their support even the project is hated and dislike by the majority, they're still there.
I'm not a supporter of any fork that's why I don't like them but good luck to those who are still keeping their faith with these.

A lot of version has been released but still, I'm believing that BTC is bitcoin and it exists. I'm not into technical side of this but that's how I believe and just like the others who's been holding bitcoin until the time we're about to sell it.
And for the forks, we know that many have earned happily with those free money that it brought to bitcoin holders.
same here  . forks are different from the original and btc is the orginal     .forks arent just free money but you must need to have a big balance of btc before you can earn amount of fork coins that you can sell for a good price  .   though there are few that you can get free like in the form of airdrop  . i think there are one btc fork where its value pump too much but it didnt also last for a long time   . lucky if you can get it and sell it on thier peak but unlucky for those who prefer to hold thinking the value can become better in the long run

but for me bch is the best coin and good long term investment.
I respect the opinion and belief you have for that coin. But sorry to say that many don't like this coin and the propaganda that they've done against bitcoin.
They are misleading a lot of newbies before and telling that BCH is bitcoin. They have never informed those people that they are a mere fork of bitcoin. And that's where it all started, they claim to be bitcoin but they are not.
Reality is, original Bitcoin does NOT exist anymore. BTC/BCH/BSV ...all are forks of the original Bitcoin. If you think, BTC is the original Bitcoin, then try validating a current block with version 1 of Bitcoin Core. You'll fail.

I noticed that the coin that often make airdrop is Stellar Lumen they did not hesitate to give a lot of prizes for participants I have personally felt the results of airdrop Stellar Lumen, through blockchain
Very true Stellar Lumen always provides airdrops with a very large allocation, I still remember when I first joined the airdrop by combining it with a facebook account and up to keybase.
But my airdrop keybase was stopped due to a lot of cheating that happened at that time.

Honestly, I can't say I've got any good feelings about any of these coins. In fact, apart from maybe MW, I have bad feelings about the rest, and that's only because I see a familiar name in MW (but pretty sure the token has almost nothing to do with the actual creators).

HEX is pretty popular from what I could tell, but I wouldn't invest anything in it.

Check MWC price in early December. Now, check the same in late January. Min was 0.00004 BTC and Max was 0.002 BTC, i.e. price went up 50x.

Lately, after being listed at 3 different exchanges, MWC value has significantly dropped though.

It is unfortunate to see that MWC got less listing than HEX. MWC was way more promising than HEX, IMHO. I have some high hope regarding CPD Token as well.

MWC is gaining traction again. HEX is an outright scam.

Yes, CPD Token will be successful for the same reason MWC is. MWC forked GRIN, which is an innovation, and re-distributed to BTC HODLers. CPD Browser will fork Brave browser, which is an innovation, and re-distribute CPD Token to BTC HODLers.

They are called forks not Airdrops, you shouldn't trust all of them though, few are scam e.g BSV, from your list I only trust Bitcoin cash and Bitcoin diamond, just DYOR, use case is highly important

For me, scam is when you promise something and deny it when time comes. Is there any such thing done by BSV so far? They are among Top 10 for long.

Rather, if I am not wrong, double spend attack took place on Bitcoin diamond. If miners attack you, instead of protecting you, that's a scam. No?

How is Stellar Lumen a bitcoin fork? both don't even share the same vision and have no relationship. Stellar's total supply is very massive. You should edit your post and input fork instead of airdrop. Hex that I know did ICO sometime ago.
This thread is about Bitcoin Airdrops. Stellar Lumen was airdropped to Bitcoin holders. I never heard of Hex ICO. It was airdropped to Bitcoin holders as well.
That's a scam coin and there's no need to talk anymore about heck. The majority of the hex airdrop participants have already tried to sell their hex coin but it has no liquidity. The fact that if hex has already gone some accusations.
Hex created an airdrop to the bitcoin holders to attract those holders to trade hex and no more.

I really do not mind living under the rock rather than thinking that these shitty projects will survive, logically what is the use of these shitty forks and if there is a realistic explanation i would like to hear from you. There are thousands of groups and they want to control the network and if they are not able to do anything they fork off and claim they are the real bitcoin and then we do not hear from them. I have the first fork and i am not even bothered to claim all the forks.

How exactly can any of the Shitcoins listed above, can steal your Bitcoin? AFAIK, you can simply move your bitcoin to a separate address and claim all of these fork/airdrop without any problem.
This is normal way to claim the fork coins but there will be people who makes silly mistakes and looses everything, even during the BCH fork we saw many fake wallets coming out and people making mistakes and thereby loosing their coins and the scammers will be looking for these mistakes, i am yet to claim all the forks mentioned and i have no idea which one will perform better in the future.

eXch.cx - Automatic crypto Swap Exchange.
I don't even know why the Bitcoin Cash is current rank 4 on the most highest market cap in cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin cash gained value due to the misunderstanding of what bitcoin cash was and what bitcoin is. Many new Investors thought both cryptocurrency were the same thing and sometimes mistakes sending funds meant for bitcoin blockchain (address) for bitcoin cash. Many untrustworthy service providers also used the opportunity to promote bitcoin cash as the main bitcoin so it gained alot of patronizers.

The project is just based on lies and untrustworthy operation. They claim to be independent yet they relied on the fame and reputation bitcoin has already built to sell their shitcoins. None is likely to succeed and non is worthy of any recommendations.

I remember some developers have already started to develop a new mimble wimble platform for bitcoin.

MimbleWimble is the protocol. MWC is an implementation. GRIN & BEAM implemented the same as well. Litecoin is trying to implement MimbleWimble on their blockchain. I have no info that Bitcoin has it on its roadmap.

So, you are talking about the Bitcoin fork, not about the airdrop. Why you haven't changed the title then? However, it is very simple to answer that Bitcoin Cash was the best fork of Bitcoin and it gave a huge profit to every BTC holder! After this SBTC was the second good, the price was 300 USD plus when it launched for the first time, though right now SBTC price become shit! I don't have any idea about the CPD coin, I mean was it a fork of Bitcoin?

Bitcoin Cash is the most likely of all Bitcoin fork to perform well in the future and the reason is that the people behind it are serious and see it as a mission to defeat the Bitcoin Core, they have exchanges, mining gear behind it and even media to help promote it

You must add another option in the pool which is "none". BCH and BSV are the price leading fork of Bitcoin. But they are worst than bitcoin and that's why I really don't like all this forks at all. They are creating fork to steal your bitcoin. I barely invest in any of th Bitcoin forked coins.
that's exactly. they want to steal our bitcoins, but these coins are also very volatile and if you create the right strategy for trading these coins then you can increase the number of bitcoins in your portfolio. there are risks, but to make money in this market you need to take them

I never had any idea about Mimble Wimble Coin (MWC), HEX Token (HEX) and CPD Token (CPD) forks and i believe that you are talking about forks as there are no airdrops, i am sure there a multiple forks of bitcoin but i would like to know why you selected these coins. I do hold BCH and BSV as they were the major forks and i never bothered about the rest of the coins.

It is not my fault if some of you are willingly living under the rock.

With 1 BTC you could get 40+ MWC. At its peak, 1 MWC cost was 0.0025+ BTC ( Ref: https://coinranking.com/coin/QM1wMd4c+mimblewimblecoin-mwc ). So, with 1 BTC, you could get 0.1 BTC for free. This is almost double of the current combined value of BCH & BSV.

On the other hand, Brave browser has received accolade from various parts of the industry. But, the bottleneck for their token, i.e. BAT, has remained KYC requirement. First, Dissenter browser forked them and replaced BAT with Lightning payment. And now, CPD Project is forking them and replacing BAT with CPD Token, which will be airdropped to BTC HODLers.

Why, we, the BTC HODLers, should miss these opportunities?

What are you saying? These aren't Bitcoin Airdrops but forks of bitcoin and the best ones from the list are bitcoincash and Bitcoin gold, Bitcoin diamond and private a good too but not reliable and as for HEX I heard it's not a good project
He probably thought of it as an airdrop because of the concept of fork coin being a free money/coin.

HEX is a known scam, read the scheme of it. They are telling you that it's designed to higher and higher which the idea of being a scam shall be applied already.

I don't think any of them will perform good in the future. People will start looking on specific coin as an investment and that will always be bitcoin and it's possible that they will avoid all of these forks.

Disagree about bitcoincash. It is certainly good for traders and speculators, but there is no real use case for the coin. There is no gap in the market for it to fill in the way that it is trying. Long term I think this coin will fade whilst the real bitcoin grows stronger.

A project that will succeed need a strong community and out of all the BTC forks, BCash has the strongest community, and apart from community, the mining power behind it is also huge as compares to the like of BSV and other forks. I believe most of them will die as market matures but BCash will still be here because of the two points highlighted above

A lot. You missed the idea that there is no airdrop for these and if there is. I Dont much give any attention to any of the bitcoin fork. Especially the top 1 and 2 which are both CEO are lunatic for calling their project the true and inherit the true purspose of original works of Satoshi. If there is a spreading airdrop of these dont believe it thats techincally that would be just a scam one.

Let the OP know first difference of fork coins and airdropped cryptocurrency.
Back in the question, most of the forked coins are trash, especially after Bitcoin Cash. Look at their market cap, it's really falling. I don't even know why the Bitcoin Cash is current rank 4 on the most highest market cap in cryptocurrency.

Have I missed any? Please let me know. I'll add that in the list...
I did not even know that BTC HODLers got so many Crypto for free!
BTC holders gets it when BTC gets forked,
But there are wallets that doesn't support it so even if you have BTC when the fork happens you wouldn't get your forked tokens or coin.
So far there are so many BTC forked crypto that are listed on the top 100 crypto but the most promising one is the BCH which is currently the top 4 and BSV which is top 6.

Im also sure that he do talks or mentions about Forked ones and im not aware about its being airdropped.lol Both things are entirely different.

Same as you said i do only aware with BSV and BCH and the rest are total shitcoins i do say.Talking about future? Well, same as usual, theres no such thing
about assurance on how these projects do perform on upcoming years.

I do even get rid of forked btc out there and i dont support these stuffs from the beginning.

As you said the future isn't that predictable, we will wait for whatever it takes in the long run. When you look at the survey, bch is still competing on several coins that has been very promising. Airdrop thing was only a good strategy to promote adoption, so it's not really a big concern for now and maybe supporting this kind of stuff can support each community.

What are you saying? These aren't Bitcoin Airdrops but forks of bitcoin and the best ones from the list are bitcoincash and Bitcoin gold, Bitcoin diamond and private a good too but not reliable and as for HEX I heard it's not a good project
If you just held BTC on an address, for which you control the private key, from 2016-2020, you could claim all the coins listed in OP. So, I dont see a point why should not I call them Airdrop!

Many of these are chain splits from forks. Note that a fork in itself does not produce a new coin, there has to be a split where some people follow the new forked chain and some the old unforked chain.
Others are airdrops to bitcoin holders. Hex for example is an ERC20 coin, it's on Ethereum.
There is a fundamental difference here. Sometimes good new coins may airdrop to holders of other coins. New coins from bitcoin forks however are universally pointless and have a price based solely on speculation, with zero underlying use case.

Every bitcoin holder got their shares when the fork took place so I think what OP said is very correct  Cheesy these forks can't be trusted but bitcoincash is worth taking risk on, it's better than the rest in my own view
