I have been using my MasterCard debit card from BitPay for about four weeks or so.  BitPay has been around for years.

They want a fairly strict KYC process, and loading the card (turning BTC into "cash" that you can spend) is a little clumsy and inefficient, but all in all it works.  You can take out up to $1000 from an ATM per day, and you can load it up to $25,000 to spend.

The only Crypto card I currently have is Ternio Blockcard although to be honest I do not use it very much.

Main reason I chose this card is the 6.38% in Crypto Rewards that is offered.

Still I dont like to spend my coins unless I am making a purchase with a vendor that prefers Bitcoin instead of fiat.

One way to go about this is to see which card issuer is actually a principal partner with Visa/Mastercard. This means the issuer has a direct relationship with Visa/MC, and this means they probably passed very strict requirements. There are only two now to my knowledge. Coinbase (Visa) and Wirex (Mastercard). I'd go in that direction first.

Ratimov made this list of most debit cards that support Bitcoin and crypto with some basic comparison, type, supported countries and fees:

You need to decide for yourself what you want to use and consider safer or 'less shady'
You should know that at any time they can close your account and take your crypto, like in any centralized exchange or service so don't keep all your coins there, but transfer some when you need to spend it.

I've decided to acquire crypto debit card for using my bitcoin but cannot decide which card to choose. crypto.com fiasko just showed how shady/weak can these companies be, so i'm trying to find a card which would be most stable/legit with minimized risk of rug pull etc shenanigans.

Any advices are most welcome  Smiley
