Multiple chain is also prevailing idea now but more focus will be on the coin that can be used for mainnet. You also need to consider platform for trading especially the decentralized platform, how easy to list and trade the coin.

you should just choose a fairly large blockchain that’s huge in market capitalization and not lacking either the liquidity and the trading volume guaranteeing long term assurance of being delisted by the exchanges.
in short, a platform like BNB and Matic could do most of the things that you needed, considering the fact that these two are quite popular for the newbies in cryptocurrency investment, you could say that they are the best options out of any other out there.
also, the dapps in their platform aren't lacking either so you can be assured that they gonna suits you well.
I think that BSC will become the best blockchain for you as this blockchain is very scalable and it has big use base. Avalanche is also very suitable for you caused by it's cheap and fast.

That's your choice to make because not everyone here creates tokens by themselves, most people hire qualified personnel to do the job do you mind me asking why you want to create a token because this days everyone wants to be a Dev.

I want to create my own token, because i'm really interested in how this works, to see how far it goes, etc. Also i want to learn something. I'm very interested in technology since ever (when i was a little child, i always wanted to know how a PC works, now i follow some projects like Neuralink or SpaceX, and of course cryptocurrency/blockchaintechnology, just some examples). It's some sort of hobby for me. I really like to create new things, like websites and now a token for it. Also it's some sort of life goal for me to launch a token (like writing and publishing a book is a life goal for some people).
But i don't have always the time/motivation to stay behind my projects (eg. last week i got behind my website the first time since beginning of November last year, because i've lost motivation) so it should be easy to maintainance...

Hi,

i want to create my own token for my website, with whom you can pay for a account-upgrade or hold it as fan-token. It should be claimed via a faucet.

First i have thought to create an ERC20 token since it's the most common and there are plenty of tutorials out there. But i just asked here about how it will behave when ETH2 comes full out and since there is to change the code from PoW to PoS it demotivated me...

So my requests for the token are:
1. PoS
2. secure
3. easy to create (with good tutorials)
4. shouldn't be too complicate to integrate it in a faucet
5. best would be if changes to the blockchain behind would apply automatically or at least that i don't must change my code every few times

Is there some blockchain out there that suits this requirements (or at least the first 4)?

If you want to start for new tokens with points it's probably better on the SOL network. at least it has similarities to ERC20 and BEP20 so it's easy to understand. The SOL network also has a strong community support many successful meme coins there they are active with the discord community. I'm sure at least before you have your own network to build your coin into a more serious project SOL is a network that is suitable for simple projects but has many advantages that can make it easier for your users to use your tokens. Learning the SOL network is also not too difficult a little understanding about the sollet wallet and mint token is the main thing.

BSC and Etheruem are popular, but sidechains can also be a good idea. To create your own coin, you will need to think about designing or hiring someone to create a custom blockchain. But I'm getting bored with newly created tokens because it's really pointless if you can't deploy the project, and creating garbage in space just wastes time and money.

from that point it seems you want to make how the token you create is easy to use and understand for many people.
Currently the easiest networks to understand from the ground up are the ethereum network(ERC20) and the Binance Smart Chain(bep20).
Maybe now the network has started to grow and develop, such as avax, sol, matic etc. but all the basics are the same with ethereum network and metask usage.
So, my better suggestion is basically to start from the erc20 network. However, if the erc20 is considered to have large gas, bep20 is the best solution.
at least start with between those networks before moving to another network or it would be better if you have your own network.

To everyone, yes, i know it's not necessarie to create a token, but i want to create one, to see how it works (the creating and all) as a hobby. I'm very interested in to see how this works and want to create one myself. For that i search for a blockchain that is easy to maintain, because it should be a hobby and not a 24/7 job... And i know, many would now say a blockchain isn't a hobby since it needs maintainance, but i really want to create one amd see how faf it goes. I don't plan to make a dump, i really want a long term project. That's also the reason why i don't search for a blockchain developer, since it costs something and i don't want to spend something for a hobby which i want to make. When i pay the developer i have a greatblockchain, yeah, cool but i haven't learned something...

To everyone who made some suggestions, thank you, i will take a look at them Smiley

Have you tried looking for blockchain developers? I think there are some people here in the forum who offers their services (of course for a fee), and they could create your token and all. Why not take that? At least with experienced developers, you would know that you can be successful in making it without any hiccups.

Why haven't you thought of a popular chain to use, though? For sure, you have choices already.

Why does everyone want to create their own token? I mean if it is not absolutely needed, then there is no reason to do it. I personally did many websites without the need to create a token. I could have, instead of getting dollars or just paid by another coin, I could have created my own token and then get paid with that, and could have dumped that as soon as the price went up.

Why would I put people in that risk? I could have simply just build something that would be easy to build and get away with it and just ruin it for everyone else. Instead, I got paid in multiple different coins and just focused on making the websites better instead.

The worst thing i have ever seen. Don't you even think about the fees? Ethereum was charging non sense fees for any transactions that happened in ethereum network. No eta for ethereum 2. I think you will be wasting a lot of your time.

1. PoS

Yeah BNB and Matic are the best solution for your problems. Both are very reliable blockchain to be used for faucet.

Cheap transaction fees, big user base and community, accepted in so many exchange sites and easy to issue your token and it's almost the same like ethereum.

I thing you must read what the CONSENSUS MECHANISMS ERC-20 or eth first before you demotivated because after I read there are no many change even you create an ERC20 token. there are many experienced people as source, so you not to worry to ask even have problem.

If you ask such questions, then you don't seem to be very experienced and the project doesn't seem to be a very serious one. Therefore, I would rather choose a blockchain that offers very low fees and maybe an interface for smart contracts that is not as difficult as e.g. Solidity. Therefore I would suggest Waves for example. However, if you are really planning a serious token, then I would seek professional consultancy.
So to help you we need some more information.

Most top PoS cryptocurrencies are usually secure and most tutorials on how to utilize them can easily be found on the internet so you can just scratch those two off your list.
Anyways, here's a list of the Top performing PoS cryptocurrencies I found.
BNB, ADA, SOL, AVAX, DOT, ATOM, NEAR, and ALGO.
You can check the full details as well as information about each of these cryptos HERE.
