I would advise you to buy in NEO now, I think its going to make even x5 this year from the current price (around 22$ per coin). Its very undervalued now

I am quite bullish on Ziliqa, but it is on the downtrend like most alts, it was at 12cents around May and is now again at ICO price. If we don’t see some major big positive news, I feel more people will be selling and leave there back to this space being drained from waiting and loosing more money.

Any investment is capable of both growing 100 times, and turning into zero. A reliable option to choose a coin from the top 10 crypto currency, but you will not have a chance that they will grow well and give you money.

With the low price of most coins in this market, most of the coins can do 3x when market recover. To be safe, Bitcoin, ETH and Neo are the good choice.

 it is very hard to say what this market is still alive at the end of this year so I would better recommend you to wait until the prices would be gaining some more stability, and when you will spot a little growth

probably latest projects with low cap, especially blockchains without exchanges. Pchain, nkn, metronome maybe.

In this bad times when market is in downtrend I recommend you to buy coins with POS consensus and if you have more money to invest, look for MasterNodes.

This year I think no coins can even make 2x. The market is getting worse every day. If bitcoin makes a big attack, all other coins will fall more.

It is difficult to determine which coins can provide 3x returns at the end of the year, because we will never know what will happen next. Maybe you can increase the number of your ethereum, because ethereum will be more reliable. In addition, you can check EOS that many predict it can compete with ethereum.

I think most of the tokens are now at very low prices.
So you can directly invest in ETH, which is at a very low price, so X3 is easy.

Lots of crypto has potential for far more than 3x, it depends on how much risk you're willing to take.
look beyond the 100s, do your research (check my thread for some suggestions! ).

if you're looking for a low risk low gain you might aswell just place your investment into one of the top coins and wait for the next bullrun.
if you're looking for high risk high gain, depending on what stage the coin/token is in, people have little reason to go tell everyone to buy it.
look for those that aren't yet known.

Most of the coins are good to hold for longterm. You can just pick one of them thatt have a good background and project behind it. It would likely to go up anyway.

I love this question but 3x is a very modest increase by Crypto standards. Most people tend to ask for 50-100x coins (which is very risky and hard to call) but 3x is easily achievable IMO.

If you are happy with this level of gains I would go for bitcoin. It is the most sure thing in the crypto market (and anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is shilling their own bags)
I think there are many coins that will do more than 3x but if you want to play it safe I would suggest BTC

Stellar is also one of my top choices, one of the coins that have a really great technology, and there will be also ICOs in the future. I was not aware that Lightning Network is built with XLM which I find surpising, where did you here that exactly, do you have any sources?

For me a coin/s which is better to HOLD this year are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XLM. But its up to you, what coin/s that suits you, or go to coinmarket to see what coin that you think is better to HOLD this year.

If we get a proper recovery this year then I don't think it really matters which of the half decent alts you choose they are all at around 75 - 80% of their prices earlier in the year so 3 x would be the least you should be looking for from where we are now. If you want more than that then you need to dig deeper and find a hidden gem amongst the current projects out there.

I don't have any suggestions other than bitcoin,for holding longer term in years.But altcoins may be give profits but most of the altcoins will fade away in the year runs so don't invest on the pretty new coin in years because you may end up with dead weight coin.You can cosider the coins like BTC,ETH,LTC,NEO,XMR and XEM too.

if you are asking for 3X and bitcoin come to ath of 20k, its easy for many coins.
One potential coin I think is XLM. There are many development around it. The lightling network is also built on XML.
I predict a 5x return for this coin XLM.

Wanchain its possible to more then 3x,when the market cap was around  $435,000,000,000 $ price for 1 wan its  was 9 $,right now its only 2.5 . Now its a good period to buy wanchain,in my opinoin.

It would seem reasonable to find the biggest corrected coin in the first half of the year. Maybe Cardano or Tron will have a pretty big chance.

You might want to check out EXRN; extremely undervalued at the moment. It is not an ICO token; 70% of the total supply was airdropped last year and most of the airdroppers sold at that time so the price have been organic since then. It has a sidechain called EXRT... anyway you can just research it after the whitepaper has been released.

Altcoins are only valuable if they have an actual use case and the token economics make sense.

My favorite altcoin AMB is a utility token for a Swiss supply chain platform which is run by multi tiered decentralized master nodes and payouts for node operators are tied to the number of data "bundles" processed and stored each day.

So one of the ingenious things about AMB’s tokenomics is that while all the bundles are fixed at a USD price of $10 (to make adoption easier and consistent), the bundle price is actually paid in AMB based upon the current USD-AMB exchange rate. Therefore, even if you don’t have a node and are simply holding AMB, you are still holding the fuel for the entire AMB-NET. As the network grows, demand for the Nectar, which you hold, will also grow.

Another ingenious part of AMB’s network design is that every time a bundle is purchased, the network will automatically burn 5% of the AMB used to purchase the bundle. As mentioned above, as the network grows, demand for AMB will also grow as users will need it to purchase bundles. This growth in purchased bundles will subsequently increase the rate at which AMB is burned. So the more the network grows, the faster the burn rate is for AMB which will create scarcity. This question a bit tricky i guess, cause we never know what coin will increase and what will decrease in price. But i have my own opinion about that, i think its save to buy lot of ether right now cause as you know ether have so many function today from selling and buying in real life and you can use it to participate in most ICO.

buy ICON ( korean etherium ). surely it will give you more than 20X this year. its highly undervalued at this moment. also it is my biggest bag honestly. im also hoping it will give us huge returns this year.
