What are the good game on ps4? Are they backward compatible?

Really happy with my Xbox One purchase, although I don't play it too often.

The benefits they added to Gold include tons of free games and rewards.

Also really easy to switch between TV and loading screens in games.  

okay my background - I own a 360 with a good pleathora of games - I'm usually a bargin bin gamer - only buy stuff thats 4.99 or less UNLESS it has either one of the phrases in its title "Grand theft" or "Metal Gear"  - those are usually purchased immediately at full price as I want very much for Rockstar and Hideo Kojima to continue providing greatness.  (I sort of fell off the horse with Ground Zeros and haven't given it much care or thought)

I'm pretty terrible with sticking to my gaming choices except for this last 360 which ive had since 2009.  To put things in perspective - i shop for consoles on Craigslist.  I bought the 360 with gta IV was maybe a year old and pretty much sold it within 2 months after beating GTA. I bought a PS3 with metal Gear solid 4 - played through it and immediately sold the ps3 back.  Took extended time off and went on to pc game with a friend on a popular mmo we all know. (FUCK YOU WOW, I SAID FUCK FARMING BTC BACK IN 2009 CAUSE OF YOU)

got back into xbox360 cause i was allured to dj hero -things basically went downhill and I'm now sadly relegated to sandbox gta games, freebies given away periodically on xbl, and tiresome fps after fps.  (irony - I'm about to play some borderlands 2)

I have the PS4 and I love them they can only recommend

I'd suggest you ps, you can't play uncharted on xbox and believe me, you will enjoy uncharted very, very much.

I would suggest PS4. If you already have PS3 then upgrading is a good idea.

everyone seems to be getting the ps4 based on games that are coming out or already out like "destiny".

If gaming is what you're after then definitely I would recommend the PS4. It's a more powerful machine designed specifically for gaming while the XboxOne aims to please people with a variety of different features. If you don't care much for state of the art graphics and enjoy saving a few dollars whenever you can, then the PS3 is worth considering as it boasts a big number of exclusives some of which are definitely praiseworthy. I've always preferred quality over quantity  But for sure you'll want to migrate to the PS4 after a year or 2.

i'm assuming you're talking about the newegg deal.. just get the PS4, it won't be that cheap for a long, long time.

I have had an Xbox360 since 2009 and I'm sort of ready to move on.  I only really got the bug to want a PS4 NOW because of the great pricing from newegg using BTC with the 75 dollars off - making it about $325 dollars for me.  I could easily buy it now with no penalties to my quality of life, but I'm trying to decide if it 'makes good sense'.

I am a bargain bin shopper and love buying up old titles from before to play through - buying a ps4 would force me to purchase a couple new games up front and download free to play stuff whenever offered.  I have  xbox Live service, amazon prime, and hulu plus (no cable at all) Does anyone know if I can use those apps on a PS4 or even a PS3?  I see that I cannot play any backwards compatible games with the new generation of consoles - the ps3 seemed tempting at first - but nothing is really drawing me in - Maybe I'd play God of War or Little Big Planet, but everything else is available on xbox360 which I've grown tired of because all I'm seeing is Zombies this or first person that - (skyrim was the only title i really truly enjoyed from pickup to put-down and even it got repetitive at times [grand theft auto V wasn't all that all that enjoyable after burning through the new game feeling])

update: I found an even better deal only 350 for a ps4 with 3 games and 2 controllers and a charging dock - its very tempting...
