Mongolia is the one that first came to mind. Not sure why.

Here is a link to a map that shows all the countries in the world:

http://www.thinksnaps.com/wallpapers-world-map-x-2560x1440-2312093-world-map/

Some I can see that don't have coastlines are Chad, Hungary, and Laos.

And here is a Wikipedia article about landlocked countries (and a list of them which includes the four I already mentioned):

I'd say it's pretty bad to be a landlocked nation but that's just me, the reason being is having a link to the sea brings in lots and lots of trade and it's relatively inexpensive, think about it, if you were a landlocked nation, the only options you'd have are building airports to fly stuff over friendly airspace or to travel through other friendly countries to reach the sea or deal with countries further away. This requires a huge amount of diplomacy and likely very expensive treaties, wheras if you've got a coastline you can simply send your ships around international waters to deal directly with the countries you want to deal with.

Switzerland,Czech Republic,Belarus,Andorra, Luxembourg, Vatican,Slovakia,Hungary,Moldova

Bosnia&Herzegovina has only one harbor, Neum, however it's very small and it's population is less then 2% Bosniak

And that's just Europe

You forgot Liechtenstein and Austria.
Ah, don't forget Macedonia either (or Kosovo, depending on if you recognize their independence or not)!

i can think of at least one con: shipping out your goods or shipping them in costs a little more, since they must land at a dock and reach you... a dock that is not in your country.
If the goods is not delivered by aircraft that is (even though flying all goods would become quite expensive).

The Vatican is bordered by a river though, isn't it? Perhaps they might have a need for a navy then.

Lesotho is completely surrounded by South Africa. So is Swaziland except it borders Mozambique on one side.

Have a look at Europe it has a few countries in the middle of other countries so they don't need to have a navy.
