AppleByte has both solo & pool mining built into the wallet.
You can mine directly from the MAC or Windows wallet (both come with minerd installed), using the official AppleByte Pool Server!

Newbie friendly instructions to set it up are here:Get Started

AppleByte (ABY) is traded on Poloniex.com

Thanks for the reply! What coins would you suggest I mine with 2 medium end gaming computers?

Personally, I only mine in order to help the network, and not for profit. In your case I imagine that someone else could help you better. AFAIK it is not easy to have profits mining: you must always follow the altcoins announcements and choose the most profitable ones (the newly launched, I suppose).

Also, you could try a mining pool (http://www.xpool.ca for example - in this case, for Darkcoin).

Nice mining, nice profits.

Almost anyone that comes with a clone of bitcoin-qt

I am using quark and have successfully mined 3 coins on a Windows 7 laptop and 3 on an OS X iMac within the last week.

Doesn't seem like it has what I'm looking for.

This is what I mean incase I am not explaining it correctly: https://i.imgur.com/yYL2tdl.jpg and this: http://imgur.com/a/jPKTn#0

As AliceWonder said, mining is possible with almost all wallet-qts "cloned" from bitcoin-qt, even if there's no mining icon, like in those examples you show in the images.

Using at the "debug window" the commands:
Quote
To START mining:  setgenerate true -1

To STOP mining:  setgenerate false

Proof of/if mining:  getgenerate
(TRUE = ON   FALSE = OFF)

Shows a lot of mining info:  getmininginfo

It is also possible to add a line to your "coin.conf" file, in order to always mine (maybe good to help the network):
Code:
gen=1

Good mining!

I thought most coins had the ability to mine built into the wallet. I remember using Kittehcoin and Dogecoin earlier this year and both had a mining option although I only tried it for an hour because it was slowing my laptop down and I could only reach ~500 hashes per second with it. I think Coinye had one too.

Which crypto currencies have a built in mining feature in the wallet? Looking for ones that preferably can be mined with multiple medium gaming computers.

I'm not referring to PoS. Just normal mining that can be done really easily because it's a feature in the wallet.
