The market is rapidly moving forward in crypto market, so we can't predict the 3 to 5 months duration. I think day trading is a perfect opportunity to get a big deal in crypto market. I suggest Dogecoin, Bitcoin and BNB is warm investment coins. So these three will really get a good noise to me and we are expecting more growth in upcomping days.

Today I bought Solana, Wanchain & TRON.

I believe that all three will rise in the next months due to the ETH fee situation and DeFi problems and plan to hold them 6+ months.

Why am I not seeing the best choices in crypto? I am not saying your choices are bad choices. They are all good and they all seem to have a bright future but I think if you have to choose which crypto investments are the best you should start with Bitcoin and then Ethereum next. Only after picking this two should you consider other choices such as Waves, Litecoin, ADA, etc.
I believe some people prefer to invest into "riskier" cryptos that would bring in a lot more profit in the long term instead of investing into coins that would be making them less money. I get that it is not ideal for people like you and me, I would never consider a portfolio without ethereum as a whole, I need ETH in my portfolio for sure, however I also understand some people who do not do it.

The logic is that, these are not "bad" coins, but these are not the "best" coins neither, which means these could make 10x faster than bitcoin and ethereum can, not that they "will" but they "can" and that is the attraction towards them, it allows people to actually have a fighting chance to make a good living out of this if they are right, and if they are wrong they are putting themselves in a risk that would be equal to investing into many other things. So this is just our version but riskier.

Among the choice you choose above the defi will definitely do great within that range of time you choose but am not so sure about waves and ada to give such profit within 3 to 5 months, especially waves is not the fast to to increase in price.
I often discourage others from joining Ripple or ADA because as you say, their growth is really only apparent over a certain period of time each year, the wait time can be too long, we can get depressed and dumped when things go up except for ADA and Ripple, and besides this, we often see bad news about Ripple, being delisted from Coinbase is the most recent problem Ripple is facing. We have more than a few options at the same time, my main trend is still to encourage people to stick to the binance exchange, most of the altcoins they list are usually very good quality for investment

Short term you can choose the Defi project. If you look at it now the increase is quite high. however this is included in High Risk investment. you must be able to choose a good token for investment. The current average Defi has increased by almost 3X since its current price. I've bought Link and Dot. Now it has increased that I expected. You can check now that the price has increased

your choice is wise because you still have bitcoin but why did you forget ethereum, polkadot and Binance? this is a coin that has shown great progress in recent years
Here maybe his reason why to not invest in major coins as the value of major coins like DOT, and ethereum already overvalued and that's why he was looking for the new asset that can bring him a lot of return.
Do you know UNI coin? it was increasing 5x from the all-time low that already achieved last year. 1nch has the same chance to grow even higher like UNI.
That's why he was betting on the low cap coin to gain more return rather than when he was investing into the large marketcap coins.

If you are looking for crypto for short term investments of around 3 to 5 months, I recommend choosing high volume coins. I recommend investing
in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Chainlink and Binance Coin. Of the 4 coins that I mentioned, usually the price movement is very volatile, so in the near future
it is very likely that the price will go up. The most important thing when buying these coins is to be able to analyze the market to determine the right
time to buy these coins. I have practiced it myself by investing in the four coins, which can provide a large profit in about 5 months.
^ 3-5 months is a short term investment you can't sure it will give profit within that range. In BTC investment, I will consider this for long term investment and probably the best target is 4-5 years right after the next halving will come. For short term investment, the best for this is altcoins, I saw potential on ADA and POLKADOT coin, they have hype as of now and surely it will grow the price more after a few months and probably effective on 3-5 months of waiting. Nevertheless, keep digging research and find those altcoins that usually have a hype.

Atom,ADA,wave  Bitcoin These cryptocurrency projects still exist, but I really don't like the other cryptocurrencies. They are all very expensive now. If you really like them, you can choose to buy them when the price is lower. You can also consider buying some Ethereum.

If you are going to base your judgement on price even btc is also expensive, what the op want is a project he can invest and profit withing 3-5 month range, the only project that can give such profit within a shortest possible time are defi, i can see most of the top defi project doing very well, i will suggest to op to use the cmc to choose among the top defi project to invest, they bring short term profit.

Looking at past performances of various cryptos, I have decided to invest in 1inch, Bat, Atom, Sushi, ADA, wave and some in Bitcoin.
Do you think my choices are prudent?
Which 'cryptos' do you suggest I should invest in for a duration of 3 to 5 month?
I just want to comment in some of your selection especially in BAT Im observing this token since inception to market and I can say it has a very slow movement in terms of price they have strong fundamentals but I dont know why its not moving from 2018 after ATH it dropped to $0.1 and and slowly recovering after 2 years personally I will not suggest this kind of token to anyone for a long term hold, Inch its a defi backed by huge investors and for sure can give you a huge profit if you hold on altseason it can follow the path of UNI in a few weeks good choice I agree with it, Sushi still a shitcoin for me haha well it can also give you profit for a short term , ada and wave for already trusted projects and its also a good choice for me.

I'm gonna suggest invest in eth but the fee is really insane. If you can afford the fee of eth then you should invest it and also the polkadot, it's also good investment, it has potential to increase. The altcoins that you mentioned seems they are good coins, good to hold for 3 to 5 months so good luck with your coins.

Ngl, I don't know much about the coins you have chosen enough to give you advice if you are investing in right coins or not. But if I were to invest in coins for 3-4 months, I would invest in Dogecoin, Ripple, Stellar, Bitcoin. I think Dogecoin will have another surge coming soon, atleast it might reach 0.1$ in upcoming months. You should do very good research on your own too because nothing is guaranteed Wink wishing you best!
Don't invest on DOGE right now, it's just like a bubble which will bust soon. This pump only happened because of elon's tweet about DOGE, better to wait until it back to it's price before. Investing now has huge risk
Don't get hype in altcoins that are already in their ATH except when it comes in Bitcoin since the price were still able to be trade even in small amount and even it's too volatile it is able to still have some growth. There are tons of altcoins to choose from but it will depend on how the company will plan it, the market is too volatile and there is no guarantee in 3months or 5months unless the team really push their projects in doing updates and hype.

The first thing that should be in your mind is that, cryptocurrencies are highly volatile and also, crypto investing comes with risks therefore you need to come to a total understanding of that first before thinking of investing quarter of your capital. Also, it is not about investing quarter of your capital that matters, what matters is investing what you can afford to lose.
Secondly, this crypto space is unpredictable, therefore I don't think anyone can tell you accurately the cryptocurrencies that you will gain from in the next 3 - 5 months, because just as it is unpredictable, the bear market can set in anytime.
And lastly, about your choice of coins, Bitcoin and ADA looks good, because they are top coins, you can also add ETH to it and of course their team are already trying their best.

DOT, that is one of the options I am offering you. The reason is, with the growth of DOT so far, the potential for the future will be even better. it also depends on how willing you are in the capital provided to invest in crypto. If the numbers are big, then you can see the DOT.
why not Bitcoin and Ethereum? because both are soaring, it took a long time to wait for an affordable price. it's Bullrun season, while Bitcoin and Ethereum are on the moon, you can take advantage of them on DOT.

No more Rekt and Bust
Firstly it would be better to start with a small amount, that is why at the beginning everything will not be so easy as expected. On the other hand for a duration of 3 to 5 months l advise preferring top altcoins, absolutely ETH, BNB. Investing in top altcoins is the best choice for all investors, that is why it is less risky. l believe that you can make money from ETH investment. But in the end, you should make your own decision, not follow others, you can learn from others, but you should decide only for yourself.

Why are you investing into what's already so high in price atm? Even if it consolidates, I don't think it'll give you more than 2-3x of your investments. Instead, try to look for good projects coming under Polkadot and Polkastarter's IDOs which will have much more potential of giving not less than 10x, even 100x in some investments. Though, as it'll be new, I'd ask you to wait for some days for it to gain higher and then sell it because it'll take time to get exposure and make extremely higher gains.

Actually, some of the ones you have chosen are correct, but only do you want to save a maximum of 5 months? or trade short term for 5 months?
If that is the case then in my opinion it is better BTC, ETH and BNB alone are much better than other altcoins but if you see how when the spike occurs you are ready for short trades then it's better to take a little profit but it flows every day but that definitely the best investment is bitcoin in its entirety.
But it becomes your decision that this should be the best choice for you.

Don't set an exact timeframe but focus on profit-taking.

On point!

People should really have this kind of mindset on where they shouldnt think off about timeframe but rather focus out on profit making.
When it comes to 3 to 5 months kind of increase or price changes then all of crypto including Bitcoin itself would have significant movement.
Its neither it would go up or would be down on that time comparing on the price that you had entered.Same goes with altcoins
too on where you cant predict on whats ahead.
It's not only profit taking... It's important to know updates and new stuff that are incoming from the projects. Sometimes prices can go parabolic and understanding why and when is important to maximize profit.

What is the budget and how much you are planning to invest in the market, bitcoin is the coin that will give you the profit when you are able to invest at the right moment but i will not advice to invest when the market is rallying and BAT is a good alternative as well but not sure about Sushi as it is DeFi and it is a different market altogether and you need to understand the risk.

Did you consider the Bitcoin dominance when you bought those altcoins? Buying altcoin these days seems not yet the right time. If you take look on Bitcoin dominance, it is kinda reversing and it is now favor on Bitcoin.
Look when Bitcoin pump recently, most of the altcoins are dumping.
But your selection of alts are quite good, especially with DeFi coins and most of them got a good market cap.

I want suggest some coin with a stable outlook, top 100 or top 50 in coinmarketcap that could receive yield from staking.
Just as example I have taken some Atom a couple of moths ago and I get a nice profit until now thanks to 7% ROI yearly and a good pump in these last days (another 20-30%).

I'd probably say that your picks are decent if the plan was to just take advantage of the price rises of these altcoins and just end up moving them to BTC; and 3-5 months is probably fine though personally I'd definitely be setting up stop-losses on those(besides BTC) because rug-pulls can happen any time. Taking into consideration that some of these only existed since 2020.

I am not curious with your private reasons but I just let you know if you make loan to invest, it is bad. If you spend money from your pocket and have plans to reuse it in next 3 or 5 months, it is fine. You don't have to worry that you will be called by your loan interests and expiration.

But please afford any loss for your investment, and prepare it in case you will end with loss next 3 or 5 months. I meant the preparation can give you good mood and an ending that won't kill you.

Bitcoin, 1inch, BAT. Don't stay too long in altcoins as you can become more greedy and loss all.

Finally, it is for investment, not trading, not margin trading.

No idea about 1inch and Sushi (is this the DeFi hype before?).

Others seem good to me. That now ends up on how will you manage those. Even how good our selected coins is, without a proper strategy, we will fail to takes profit during the trading process.

I will not suggest my preferred coins as it's not as simple to just follow anyone's set of coins. You able to create your own list so I think you aren't new anymore in trading and already know what to do.

Take good note of the advice above, they know what they say and I couldn't agree more with them.

I tend to simplify in my reasonings, maybe because I exasperate when I see how some people tend to overcomplicate with unnecessary details (just my point of view) and I would say that it doesn't really matter the "cryptos" you invest in: as long as you don't choose straight scams and diversify a bit your portfolio, if the bull run continues you will profit regardless of your choice, and if the trend changes you won't.

I like to use the fallacy that states that you can only win or lose money, so your chances are 50-50 Cheesy; while it is not true, it is quite a good reasoning not to fall into a false illusion of control, as it is impossible to foresee the different variables (technical, economic, political, psychological) that will take place and can impact the price.

Never ever invest in crypto what you can't afford to lose, and if you have time DYOR, but I wouldn't overcomplicate.

Since you are new to the investment sphere, I suggest starting with a small amount. Try to buy top altcoins and invest the rest in the ETH, EOS, ADA. Maybe dividing the portfolio and putting %10 of the investment capital on low marketcap altcoins can help but never forget to diversify the altcoin portfolio.  There is no guarantee the investment will be profitable, so do your homework and invest what you can afford to lose. Never try margin trades because the leverage will be the endpoint of your trading career before you get something out of it. Good luck.

How long do you trade? What are your key pointers when choosing a coin to invest in?

If your experience tells you that those coins are worth putting some investment in, then go ahead and see the result for yourselves. We might have the same portfolio but our approach will be different, hence with different results.

But if you are just a newbie, I suggest limiting the diversification for now and have a test for only 2-3 coins including Bitcoin. However, if you think you are ready and prepared to monitor several coins at the same time, then it's up to you to push it.

I must say that your choices are good but no one can tell you here what would be the exact coins to invest. Trust your judgment and do everything to manage your portfolio very well. We all have our own way so try to make a strategy of yours. Don't set an exact timeframe but focus on profit-taking.

Don't pressure yourself on that timeframe period as long as you are doing good.
