For domain registration and web hosting Namecheap is highly recommended many Cryptocurrency projects are hosted here because of their privacy and anonymity

Your website security and privacy comes first at Namecheap, and we will always support the rights of individuals and consumers online. It’s our mission to keep the Internet open, free, and safe for everyone.

They also accept different Cryptocurrencies for payment, I have two domains bought here and they also host them, their support is awesome its an all-in-one service provider, whether you are starting a blog or a Crypto project, set up is easy and you don't have to do KYC here.

And they support over 500 domain extensions this is one feature that you cannot find in other domain reistration.

Also, which web hosting should I choose if I am looking for a long-term relationship, dedicated servers with proven record of up-time, performance and safety? All suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

Just noticed this thread. So, a bit late to respond.

You might like to check BestHostFree.com. You may create a ticket to pay with Crypto too.

Web hosting is 100% free to start with. If u grow and need more resource, u may seamlessly upgrade with bitcoin. For semi-dedicated and VPS hosting, you may check the following two...

1. https://besthostfree.com/semi-dedicated-hosting.html

2. https://besthostfree.com/vps-hosting.html

You might check feedback of Bitcointalk users on our thread - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/web-hosting-100gb-space-1000gb-traffic-112-usdmonth-try-for-free-617213. Wishing to see your feedback as well.

namecheap is the most popular of all even before crypto, top-level domains like EMD are classified as premium today with high prices but any recommendation of unstoppabledomains.com?

I keep seeing their ad on some websites I visit which they offer crypto domain extensions like .nft, .wallet, .bitcoin and so on. Its likely what crypto users would want to have if they plan to create a website, I'm just unsure of how search engines will treat these kinds of domains.

I have a basic Bitcoin website, I bought the domain from
https://www.orangewebsite.com
Payment in Bitcoin and anonymously

Hosting is by https://www.hostinger.com
Again payment by Bitcoin and anonymously.

Because of this my address is showing
"connection is not secure"
anyway I havent experienced any issues so far with the hosting and Wordpress
for example has been automatically updated.

Any comments on how good these mentioned privacy-friendly services are? I'm definitely for such services(I use the likes of Tutanota and ProtonMail), but if we're talking about VPSs and domain hosting, I'm definitely prioritizing uptime and customer support than my privacy.

Domain registration service has nothing to do with performance.

And many people give fake information to the register service, which can lead to having your domain register canceled.  Using Njala you won't be exposed to that risk.

About performance of the web hosting I was able to find bad reviews of 1984 here:
https://www.websiteplanet.com/web-hosting/1984-hosting/

And found no comments about banhnof

For anonymity first of all you have to find a domain registrar that accepts Bitcoin payment. I am pretty familiar with Namecheap who accepts Bitcoin payment for domain and hosting. Bitcointalk has been using Namecheap for domain since Bitcointalk using Cloudflare can't check the hosting. But I am assuming it would be from Namecheap as well. And of course, you need to hide your IP address somehow whether using VPS or Tor for full anonymity.

I think that Njalla was started by owner well known Pirate Bay website for torrents, and it's probably the best option for privacy like bitmover said.
It's important to know that this doesn't mean that you can register any illegal website and domain with Njalla, because they took down multiple domains last year, and maybe they even provided crypto transactions to authorities.

One alternative is Flokinet.is, that can be used for hosting and domain registration only with valid e-mail address, and they accept payments with Bitcoin, Monero and other cryptocurrencies.
This website operates from 2012 and it is use for freedom of speech websites, but I didn't compare prices with Njalla, Namecheap and others.

More alternatives that also accepts Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payments for private hosting and domain registration:

Few more, but I am not sure if they accept Bitcoin and crypto payments:

It is very hard to have full anonymity there. someone will always be able to follow the owner of the service. if he wants of course.
I guess you can use whois privacy on the domain registrar, many of them Namesilo, Namecheap (as Bitcointalk) offering it for free. Plus Cloudflare service (like Bitcointalk), and you will be fairly anonymous to everyone except your registry. In the end, they always can track you by accessing IPs.

There are always some good reasons why you need to keep your whois data correct as ICANN says https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/faqs-f0-2012-02-25-en

As for web hosting, I used Vultr servers (pay with BTC of course). They have a very nice performance.

was it not a condition for Vultr that the first payment be made through the bank/PayPal, or there is something changed?

I only use Namesilo when I want to purchase a domain with BTC. I know there are plenty of others, but like seniors people, I don't like to change my habits. The domains come with free whois guard protection, and not only the first year like Namecheap and some other does.
I have never got a problem with them, so can't comment about their support since I never contacted them. The only thing I ask is to get a domain and change the records.

I was used to Digital Ocean (setting up a dozen of servers per day) but when I switched to Vultr, the difference was very clear.

I don't know what do you consider decent traffic, but I was getting 50k/per day with my fingers in the nose.
As for hosting Bitcointalk, I remember during a time it was hosted with Private Internet Access. I don't know if it's still the case now

I don't remember using PP for the 1st payment, but it was long ago so yes things may have changed since.

If you have an experience in running the Crypto projects with decent traffic, I would love to hear your opinion about the best Domain Registration Services which provide an adequate trade-off between anonymity, security and reliability. Also, which web hosting should I choose if I am looking for a long-term relationship, dedicated servers with proven record of up-time, performance and safety? All suggestions will be appreciated. PS: Which web hosting service does Bitcointalk use?

If you want privacy/anonymity, the best option is Njalla.

I just look at their website, they call themselves "the worlds most notorious 'Privacy as a Service' provider for domains"

According to nullius, they do not even want to know who you are. Ofc, this is not the cheaper service. Namecheap and namesilo ask some information for you.

That sounds like you want Njalla (onionwhen v3!?).  It is about twice to tenfold the price; but they are Tor/VPN friendly (no evil-IP account lockout horror stories), and they do not ask any IRL identifying information whatsoeverNo need to make up fake info—no risk of having domains cancelled for fake info.  If you really want, you can even avoid giving a throwaway e-mail address by instead using a throwaway Jabber/OTR address.  They don’t want to know who you are.

Personally, I have namesilo, whicih is cheaper than namecheap for my domain name (.science)

Edit:

I would also look at those services here: https://www.privacytools.io/#hosting
All of them accepts Bitcoin:

OrangeWebsite: Icelandic Web Hosting with Free Speech (https://www.privacytools.io/go/orange-website.com)
1984 Web Hosting: Safeguarding privacy and civil rights (https://www.1984hosting.com/)
Bahnhof: Covered by strong free speech and data protection laws (https://bahnhof.cloud/)
Njalla: A privacy-aware domain registration service (https://njal.la/)
