Very often there is information that there are attempts to hack or real hacking by hackers of different exchanges, and therefore, first of all, I am concerned about the security of my assets. following my choice According to the specified criteria, I choose Binance because I can protect my account in several ways at the same time, while Binance offers double confirmation for any transactions, and Binance also has a fund that guarantees coverage of all losses in case of unforeseen circumstances.
For sure, Binance is one of the best exchanges. By the way several years ago I had a practice of using Kucoin and I was quite satisfied with that exchange also. There you don't have to make verifications during the registration and the interface is very easy at using, so I had no problems with exchanging my tokens at Kucoin.

While other traders also use small exchange to find opportunities.
There times where small exchange are being used for arbitrage trades, getting some edge when there's price difference especially if the coin are being added to a much bigger exchange, those who left behind with the information failed to anticipate the possibilities of pumped.
Those named exchange have the a good numbers of end users, just depend from the traders which one to use and which one gives them some good advantages.

Binance is the best crypto exchange to use but unfortunately not all tokens are listed there. But if you want to trade bitcoin and Ethereum, then don't find other exchange because Binance is really good trading platform to use. I also use OkeX, MXC and Bithumb global. In my experience using this platform, I can say that it was also good and I didn't encounter any problem on this exchanges. They have Fast deposit and withdrawal transaction and also in MXC has no minimum withdrawal.

I am using Binance for trading as the exchange has a user friendly interface along with huge trading volume. With the introduction of margin trading and P2P now I think you don't need to go to any website for crypto related affairs.

I use many exchanges like kucoin, hitbtc, latoken, mxc, bithumb and many others, all of them are good. I would like very much few exchanges which are whitebit.com and coinbene.com. I also like kucoin exchange which is very safe and secure.
my first choice binance .it,s just amazing most like bianance very strongly security for your funds.after binance i like kucoin and houbi.there are also good nowadays many exchange launch but i swore always binance always most like all traders.and i also new traders tell about binance and told them use binance.

Kraken was my first exchange, but I didn't stay there for long, I then moved to Bitstamp for a reason I cannot remember now. It's pretty good, with decent trading and withdrawal fees. Moreover, they still have the option to withdraw with BitgGo Instant, which has even a lower withdrawal fee (I was using BitGo at that time).I have also a good opinion/account with okex, binance, poloniex, huobi and bittrex

On the other hand, the layout may be simple and easy, but I find it non-responsive at some times.

I found one a few weeks ago that seems to be pretty good, its called bitmart.Seems to have alot of coins I was/am after. Pretty easy to get fully verified and off to the races.
I second about Bitmart, well not biased but based on my experience. I just recently got aware that one of my hold coins for years got listed on that exchange. Since the price was decent, high gas fees can be covered so I did try to sign up disregarding possible risk since I have no choice in the first place. If I can withdraw it then good and if not, it's fine. The whole process is smooth so I can say they are good.
But the only downside is, (not actually a downside but for those who don't want KYC), it needs KYC for withdrawals. I comply on the Intermediate level and the process was fast.

Actually here all the exchanges are good for trading but binance is best ever. Now which coin you want to trade and where that coin are in trading that is important. Suppose you selected a coin that will be benefited for you and you try to trade in binance but that coin are out of binance. So coin listing is important in first than select best exchange.
My advice is just one exchange to start trading, like Binance or Huobi, because that way your assets will be easy to manage,
especially if you choose Binance, of course your assets will be safe there, because CZ always says SAFU !,
but if you keep it On various exchanges like Kucoin or OKEX, I can't imagine if a problem occurs and you will definitely be confused,
one exchange will make you comfortable, I'm sure of that.

for beginner in crypto, it is better to stay in one exchange and learn the ins and outs. i would say Binance also, as you said, they have SAFU, which pretty much gives you peace of mind when it comes to safety of your funds. once you get the grasp of crypto trading, you can go to other reputable exchanges and check how they are doing things also.
because in time, you will noticed that not all coins or tokens are being traded with binance and you need to go to other trading platforms to trade it with.

Binance was my first choice when you were able to use it without KYC in the United States. I really haven't needed to use a centralized exchange in a long time. If I need to exchange an altcoin for BTC or vice versa I just use an instant exchanger like Sideshift or Simpleswap. For random ERC-20 tokens that aren't on any traditional exchange then Uniswap is a good option.

Like you, I'm a big fan of Binance as well abd haven't had any issue with the exchange in the last 2-3 years. Aside from the occasional outages and maintenance especially at times when there's an increased volatility in market prices, I haven't had problems with binance. I'd like to point out that it sucks when these outages happen because I can't close out my positions and get presented with liquidation notices. That's one area binance has fallen short in recent times. I'm currently considering trying out a new exchange, possibly Houbi. Not because Binance is bad because I heard there are other promising projects that are listed there which aren't available on binance. So I just want to take advantage of it.
Btw, you forgot to mention ftx. It's a good exchange and with zero withdrawal fees which can save users a lot of money.
I've also used Kraken in the past, which isn't bad at all, the fees are alright. However, I'm not really fond of the layout, plus they often have downtime on bull market incidents.
I use many exchange exactly as bounty participant we need create almost exchange account because many coins list with different exchange market, maybe if you joined with AMEPAY signature campaign you need create Bithumb Global exchange market and MXC exchange, I think not only have create with one account exchange market, but for trading keep using Binance because have many coins listing there.
Like many, I use Binance, previously I liked Bitfinex more, but they have very high fees, Binance has more options for clients, although the fee for withdrawals for Bitcoin is still somewhat high.

i only use Binance and also Huobi, both exchanges are big exchanges and have a high level of security, very few issues occur on these two exchanges, liquidity is also the reason I chose huobi and binance, because the higher the liquidity the exchange has, the execution of buy orders and sell orders is very fast. For other options maybe Okex, but I don't really like Okex because there are not too many traders trading there, it's still better than huobi and binance.

You will always read Binance as their first option since its truly good exchange since you can used futures and spot trade there, also they are tested especially when hacking since there's no any huge harm happen to their users account and balances since binance really do a good job when that scene happened on them.
Also I like what's happening on BNB or in other related to them since all is in good place and there future plans is so promising since there CEO is so intelligent.
Binance has made very impressive and Tremendous progress during the past years and achieved status of One of the Leading Exchanges of the world. This is reflected in price growth of BNB. Most of new projects are using Binance chain to create new projects that is the major reason of Price escalation of BNB coin which has gone up many folds in few months.
I only use one exchange for my daily trade and actually I don't need a lot of exchange for trading because if you have more than one exchange account and you just move one to another exchange I think it is not worth anymore. Since the fee for transaction is already high you can spend a lot of money to pay every transaction that you made. Especially, if you are an arbitrage investors, you have to consider the fee for transaction as well. So, I just choose one strategy, yeah I only choose trading short term so far and I only choose one exchange i.e binance.

That been said, a majority of people here are using Binance here. For me, it's all about its many features. And recently I am loving their p2p feature.

Actually i like binance. But recently i started trading on probit and mxc. The reason is all my favorite coins not listed on binance. I always prefer binance as number one exchange but, i also use other exchanges for deferent currency.
That's a good reason. use binance for major exchanges and other exchanges are used only for favorite coins. Binance already has a lot of favorite coins listed and that's growing. New coins that have good potential will be listed directly on Binance.I am also part of binance and become an official partner of p2p binance. Binance exchange number 1 and the best at the moment.

Never stay in the same exchange, an exchange as the name itself is self explanatory in my opinion best if only functions as a mere exchanging platform and you should not build a tie with them.
I'm myself always use exchange that's reputable enough and the most important thing is having huge liquidity, considering my practice of trading is to get the money out of that exchange hot wallet.
But if I'm given options to choose one exchange from list above with all the other factors taken into account i'd choose binance and okex, maybe just because i'm more familiar with them.

Okex have so many features that I don't even understand how they work haha, and once my authenticator got deleted asked okex support they asked my passport ONLY no other document helped me to recover my account, I got stuck there at last I made exit

From the list you mentioned I have tried two of them but if there is one I would be asked to recommend, it will always be Binance because once I used Binance, I never used any others. One reason is the easy to understand and navigate layout of Binance and apart from that the security which is always associated and there is no high fees or problems like that.Coinbase I heard is a very good one but personally I never used them, don't know why but I am more than satisfied with Binance specially after they added leverage trading and futures so I don't have to visit other exchanges for these features.

Gate.io is also not bad, but I do try to keep to standard exchanges and Binance is my to go exchange.
I have tried different exchanges and the best one that suits my needs as a trader is Binance. There is no better alternative for me because of the cheaper fees depending on the volume of the trader, the other exchange can charge up to 0.5% per trade which is very high for small traders like me. The safety rate is also important to factor if I choose the new crypto exchange.
Have been into cryptocurrency for the past few years and have tried different exchange but I believe one of the best exchange in the world is binance. Have used different exchange but I don't think i can compare any exchange with binance in terms of everything!!! Kucoin is also a nice exchange which I can personally recommend everyone to use but it can't be compared with binance. Binance is easy to use, you can deposit and withdraw directly to you local account without stress, you can easily sell or buy bitcoin, Ethereum, usdt and bnb using p2p, trading is very easy and fast, all the coins there are coins with good future and you won't see shit coins there.

I have the same sentiments here. I am using both binance and kucoin. But I still prefer to use Binance over kucoin. Maybe, because Binance has insurance in place, which I feel safe and secure for my funds. Also, the trading is not so complicated with binance, unlike kucoin, you need to transfer your funds to your trading account and then transfer it again to your main acct if you want to withdraw. In binance, it is pretty straightforward. But anyway, so far, I can only vouch for these 2 because never used those other 3 exchanges.

I have good experience with both of these exchanges platform and I had no problem until such day I decided to stop for a while in trading. When I heard about Binance that they had a safe fund for their users, I transfer to them and until now I remained there because I know it feels safe and comfortable knowing that your fund is in safe hands plus the security measures.I will suggest also to take a look on Poloniex and Bittrex since these are other two big players of the market.

Honestly speaking i use all of the exchange. But for some time when need. But most of the time i always try to preferred me Binance and kucoin for my Daily uses. Well, i loved binance soo much for its simple and user-friendly interface and also binance has the lowest fee than other centralized exchange in Your list. Also binance is T1 exchange. A crypto projects always trying to list their project on binance. Because they know binance could be make their project more successful. Also they know all binance users believe binance. And they invest all project by the trust of binance. Plus its secure. Instant payment service. That is why i loved it.
I use all the exchanges you give for special needs. Because all traders often have their favorite coins found on one exchange and not on another exchange, traders move to another exchange to trade their favorite coins. And I haven't had any major problems using their exchanges.
But now I am using binance exchange for some extra benefits. I am using binance now because my favorite coins are available in binance, so I can easily trade my favorite coins.

Actually i like binance. But recently i started trading on probit and mxc. The reason is all my favorite coins not listed on binance. I always prefer binance as number one exchange but, i also use other exchanges for deferent currency.
For sure, even I have to bought some tokens from other sources like uniswap when I cannot find the token on binance. One problem I see on decentralized exchange now days is the big fees we have to pay for each transaction on ERC20 and it is not going to be solved anytime soon either.I mostly use Huobi Global as it has a lot of good coins with great potential, and I never had any problems there in terms of withdrawal and deposits
Do they require KYC for withdrawals? Just asking for my own reference in case I want to try them in future.Gate.io and Binance do the all job for me as the main crypto exchanges, for some altcoins which have not listed on the popular crypto exchanges, I will go to dex and buy/sell there. In the end, it is a personal preference to choose the main exchange for both margin and spot crypto trading. The additional rule is to not put all eggs in one basket.
Haven't heard about gate.io much before today but looks like there are some good exchanges in the market and I was so conservative about exchanges after the cryptopia issues that I never trusted new exchanges again. 
I use Binance and sometimes I would also use DEX it would really depend on what kind of crypto I would trade which trading site I could use to buy it and trade it.

Binance is very best exchange. And now there coin are also reached top 3 position due to large use of binance smart chain. Binance has low fee with some great features for users. Staking in binance is very advance. P2p trading support almost all local bank transfer.
Other exchange are also very useful but binance is top 1.

Only Binance. I still don't have any reason to use other exchanges like Bittrex unless there's price that I am looking for then the list will go down forever except for crappy exchange because who would obviously trade their actually.
I had my rough experience as a newbie in Binance but it was my stepping stone that I never stepped on because of...personal stuffs.
most of times, the exchange that are you're using it is based on your country. likewise, mostly of european user will use kraken for directly buying with bitcoin (since they accept SEPA bank transfers).
Others exchange listed are a good choice since they have a very large volume/ user-base, but these are not my choice if I want to exchange fiat-crypto.

I never experience anything other than finance because this is one known kind of exchange right now also if you are a small-time investor you doing need to proceed to their KYC because if you are doing less than 2 BTC you don't need to comply also there are a lot of security features one of the favorites I want to them is the weekly update of the news even though I'm not active on the market they keep updating me.
I'm open to learning other exchanges but for now, I focus on the binance.
Been using different exchanges before but ends up forgetting or not being able to monitor them all at once. i've been using binance for a year and i feel great about binance. such as volume, price and good coin potential. I will always use binance for this until a new exchange is better than Binance 1. Binance

Gate.io and Binance do the all job for me as the main crypto exchanges, for some altcoins which have not listed on the popular crypto exchanges, I will go to dex and buy/sell there. I believe it is because people are confident to even store their coins in this exchange.
They have SAFU in place, so you have no worries if anything goes wrong in their exchange.
Even me, I don't worry storing my coins for certain period of time, when, I am waiting for the right time to trade my coin.
And I guess, a lot of traders have the same trust on this platform.
But I am also using some smaller to medium exchanges, as there are some coins you can't find in binance.
They've proven to be a reliable exchange in times like unexpected scenario came to happen. It had given confidence and trust for many users worldwide because of how they've handled the hacking that happened to them.
It's okay to use smaller exchange for smaller trades but before depositing on those, you do your research.

You will always read Binance as their first option since its truly good exchange since you can used futures and spot trade there, also they are tested especially when hacking since there's no any huge harm happen to their users account and balances since binance really do a good job when that scene happened on them.
Also I like what's happening on BNB or in other related to them since all is in good place and there future plans is so promising since there CEO is so intelligent.
Currently, only Kucoin but am waiting for Ethereum to have its own exchange. The fees are just crazy and plus, after paying over $20 per transaction, the tx still is pending. Exchanges are over charging too in terms of fees after earning from trades. Just wish we had a direct exchange in the wallet for all altcoins.
Binance runs smoothly, and doesn't have problems that I have experienced so I'm sticking with it. Though I'm considering Gate.IO and Okex based on this thread alone.

Apart from Gate.io with I don't know well, the others have always worked smoothly in the last years (not really sure about today's service, but if it hasn't changed, it has been always good).
Anyway, if you are used to Binance, there is no need to use any other exchange as long as you keep having all the pairs you want to trade. But if there is some coin not listed there and want to trade it, don't hesitate at least with 2, 3 or 4, your should operate seamlessly there too.

In terms of support, Binance is also the fastest one to answer all your query so I'd very much stick with it than other old ones who gave me so much trouble before. Based on my own experience. i.e. Poloniex.

Binance is the most used in my country so I choose to use it, pretty easy to navigate and you don't get that lost although that will vary because my friends who had been trading there are teaching me the basics but if you are doing it solo, I think that you won't have a problem with it.
I use Binance (from international exchange) as it's the most popular, and reputed, and besides it, I use Indian exchanges like WazirX and few others. Mostly I use WazirX because of the ease of deposit and withdrawal in INR (my native currency) from directly to and from my bank which is instant and Binance and WazirX recently got connected as well, so WazirX customers can transfer their funds (in selected currencies) instantly from WazirX to Binance and vice versa which makes the trading process much more smooth and fun!

I've using Binance for trading major coins and pancakeswap and uniswap for decentralized trading for some altcoins.
Before I'm using a lot of centralized exchange but due to some decreased their volume I decided to stick on Binance with a lot of new coins to trade. For dex, I rarely using uniswap at the moment due to very high gas fee.

Among the five, I only have gate.io and Binance. Most of the people are in binance because it had gained much reputation from its users.
Exchange tokens are very much pumping these days even the native tokens of DEX are pretty much being shooting to the moon. It may not be true but I read on a dex chat that there are institutions buying up their tokens because they are up dex tokens. If I just knew I probably have bought up hundreds of thousands of the dex tokens.

Another reason is because I'm Asian so I have the same beliefs. I have been using them for the past 3 years without a hitch. They are also great because all the features are offered and there is no limit to use. It is also the floor that I encourage my friends.
I do use Both Binance and KuCoin exchange but most of the time I used kucoin since I am having a hard time with the IU that binance has but in terms of the most popular ofcourse it will be Binance, like their activities as well I just dont like that they keep on listing some more shitcoins which I think is because of the fees they are getting but wise performance binance is good..

I actually got bags of XRP (RIPPLE) and when XRP had problems with SEC, most of the exchanges actually delisted it or stopped its service but kucoin even held an event for it which imo is a smart move and thats what I like about them.. KCS holding is a win-win too

Using Ethereum decentralized exchange at the moment can't be advice by anyone that knows what it feels like transacting with the ethereum blockchain. The fees are just too much that it can take up all or most of the profit you gained from that particular trade especially when you didn't use huge capital to carry-out the trade
While other dex are quite decent to use since their fees aren't as outrageous as that of Ethereum, they don't have the level of exposure the ethereum dex has and the coins available aren't as broad as that on the Ethereum dex. Dex built on binance smart chain are currently gaining some momentum but one can't never tell if they'll be around for long (speaking about the project built on BSC).

Like you, I'm a big fan of Binance as well abd haven't had any issue with the exchange in the last 2-3 years. Aside from the occasional outages and maintenance especially at times when there's an increased volatility in market prices, I haven't had problems with binance. I'd like to point out that it sucks when these outages happen because I can't close out my positions and get presented with liquidation notices. That's one area binance has fallen short in recent times. I'm currently considering trying out a new exchange, possibly Houbi. Not because Binance is bad because I heard there are other promising projects that are listed there which aren't available on binance. So I just want to take advantage of it.
Btw, you forgot to mention ftx. It's a good exchange and with zero withdrawal fees which can save users a lot of money.
